That's a very nice picture of you, Deb.  You mentioned to me that your hair was cut too short, but I think it looks great!

Well, thanks, you guys   I was hoping my posting would get more of you to do the same but I guess everyone is still going to be shy.   I took this with my camera, Sandrea. I must have taken 30 pics before I got one that didn't look like I was looking into a Christmas tree ornament - you know how you look in a fisheye mirror?    I was cracking up doing it!!    Thanks re the hair but, my hair is sticking straight out to get it to look decent and I feel weird having the whole spike thing going on  I have to use the hair wax stuff to make it stay out, or it is right down on my head and I look like a pinhead!    Only problem is that I am allergic to most of that stuff, so I have to wash my hair 2 and 3 times a day if I use them. I only use it if I am going to town ... which I did before the picture was taken and that's pretty much why I decided to take it. Otherwise, I just let myself look like a pinhead.

Donna, I know the hair looks all stylish, and thanks for the compliment on it but like I said, it only looks like that if it is stuck out with that hair syling wax stuff and I hate the feel of that. The hair people are always trying to do stuff with my hair that looks like the style should be on someone at least 10 years younger than me. Maybe it's because I go in there with my jeans, a t-shirt and jeans jacket and black 'skater' shoes with black and pink shoelaces on!!     I never thought about that until just now   Oh well ...  I just put that goop on and pull it straight out from my head when I leave the house.

Deb, that's so funny about your hairstyle.  You should go ahead with the youthful styles - with your pretty face you can certainly wear them!

I keep thinking I should get my hair cut now that I'm an "old lady" of 62, but hubby won't hear of it even though I look like a wicked old witch unless I pull it back in a braid.  At least it's really easy to care for this way!

Aw, thanks Cindy ... I think you would look great with a short hairstyle, too!   You have a really young face!!! I have had no idea that you were out of your 50's from your photo. I had my hair long until just a few years ago. It was so easy to care for ...all I had to do was brush it and throw it up in a clip. But then I got convinced that I was too old for the long hair with the clothes I wore. The hair went ... I kept the clothes, though
