Once again it's time to start a new thread. Here's the link for the previous one ~
Good morning all ! Hope this finds y'all doing well and with things going great. Things are good here. Guess what? I got to pet Tigger this morning! She was alone again this morning and very eager for her food, as usual. She got within touching distance so I just reached out and petted her. She allowed a very brief petting but it's a start. Not much going on here, just my usual.
Wendy, sorry your computer connection is iffy. Hope the storms ease up. Sorry, too, that you're so tired. Though it sounds like you had a great day with your sister and with Keith.
Elena, great to see you here.
Laura, sounds like y'all had a great trip home. I thought you already saw "Desolation of Smaug" with your grandma. Are you going to see it a second time or am I remembering wrong? Glad Aaron's doing well. Sorry his girlfriend broke up with him.
Summerannie, love the videos especially the one with the loving cat though they're all adorable!
Sandi, great to see you here. Love the picture! Snoopy's great.
Delilah, you're so right about how we should treat others. Angels are indeed around us in many shapes and forms.
Angie, great to see you here. Wow, those are some pictures of the damage all that ice is doing. Those poor trees. While I feel for the people who have lost their power, it's great that they are learning their neighbors are good people.
Take care everyone and have a fantastic day.

it's - 3 out today. stay warm everyone.
Sandi, did I see -3 in your home area? Keep it there, don't send it here and then I won't send it on to Donna! You and Stripes can come here. It's a tad warmer but teens are expected soon.
Darla, how sweet to be able finally to pet Tigger if only for a moment! Did Black Beauty show up at all?
The sun is shinning here for the first time in several days. It's only 36 though.
Everyone get ready, Christmas is almost here!
Hi, Darla. Yes, I already saw it with Grandma. Mom and Dad and I always go to the movies on Christmas Day because the rest of the people who would usually be watching movies there are at home with their families. I'm glad he's doing great, too. I was sorry to hear about that, too. I'm not sure what caused it, but it was rather sudden. He doesn't post very much, but I go to his profile and check on him from time to time.
I had my last riding lesson for this year and I finally got to canter and it was so much fun. We had been taking it easy on Pom Pom because of the issues with her feet, but she was doing better today. Sandy brought me a nice Christmas gift: Danish Shortbread butter cookies and a gift card for Mcdonald's, so when Mom and Dad and I go into town on Christmas Day, I will be getting her some coffee or something as a Christmas gift. I finally got to meet our neighbor, Carolina Vargas, that Mom has been taking her riding lessons from. She is really nice. Mom and Dad played tennis with her and then we had dinner together and then sat and talked for a while and then Carolina went home. I worked some more on my story last night. I was up all night with Kili because his fever was still high, and he is a bit better this morning. The infection is draining like crazy and the kingsfoil leaves were all mushy. James and Thorin were going away for the day to follow up a lead on the case and Thorin told me to stay at the safe house and look after Kili, and Kili had breakfast, which was wonton soup broth, and I gave him a bath since he was smelling a little ripe from lying in the fermented bean curd paste that I forgot to take off the table and I hadn't had breakfast yet and Kili told me to go ahead and eat and then go for a walk or something and that he would be fine on his own for a bit and I went for my walk and Kili was reading when I got back and he had been watching t.v. and the report on the continuing atrocities in Syria upset him a bit and he started crying and I hugged him and let him cry on my shoulder for a bit and he got settled down and told me that he usually doesn't get so emotional about things like that and I told him that it was normal because he still isn't well and his emotions are a bit closer to the surface, but that will level off as he gets better, and the draining of the infection has slowed down a bit when it really ought to be going faster and I am going to need to lance it, but I really don't want to put him through that just yet, not after the kingsfoil treatment. Tonight's installment is Thorin and James coming home after following up that lead and Thorin got shot in the left arm and right leg and the doctor at the hospital wanted him to stay over night and Thorin shot that idea down because he really wanted to get home and I tell him not to get a gunshot wound infection because I'm still nursing Kili thorough his and I update him on how Kili is and Thorin bought groceries on the way home and brought food from P.F. Chang's, and also brought me treats from my favorite stores as a way to thank me for looking after Kili and we all have dinner.
I see what you mean about Tiger's whiskers. I didn't notice it when I looked at the photo because all I was thinking of was how much I would love to give him a tummy rub as he looked so irresitably gorgeous!
Thanks so much for thinking of me - for some reason your friend request didn't turn up, so after I have posted here, I will try sending you one.
I love the idea of Gandalf as a homicide detective -very original! I would never have thought of that as a story idea.
Hope you are keeping safe in the wild weather.
You always find such beautiful pictures
Well, it has been a warm day here and I've been out doing last minute Christmas shopping. David and I are having a quiet Christmas at home this year.
Wishing everyone and all their animal friends a very happy and blessed Christmas and New Year.
Good morning all! Hope this finds y'all doing well and with things going great. Things are good here. Tigger was here alone again this morning. She was extra sensitive today and wouldn't let me touch her. Tomorrow's another day. The application I had processed for MCRA was approved! So, when we get 2 kittens he'll be adopting them. Not much going on here, just my usual.
Sandi, brrrr, -3 there? And I thought I was cold when I walked out on the porchat 6:30 this morning and it was 38. Well, I am cold for my part of the world. You want to come here and get warm?
Sugar, yes, it was very sweet to be able to pet Tigger if only for a brief moment. I know I'll get her used to at least some people. Haven't seen Black Beauty since the Christmas party the cats had. She'll be back though. She may be coming later in the day.
Laura, I think y'all going to see a movie on Christmas Day is a great idea. Enjoy watching "Desolation of Smaug" the second time! I'm sure it's one of those movies you can see more than once. Whatever caused her breakup, it's a rotten time to do it. Like your story.
Val, that's weird that my friend request didn't show up. I got yours and accepted. Thanks. Ray and I are also having a quiet Christmas together.
Take care and have a fantastic day.
Darla today its -2 out the outdoors can't eat fast enough before it freezes. Has anyone heard from Ginger & Guy. I get green stars from their Mom.

Hi, Val. He was homicide detective because the last guy that had that post died and there was no one at hand to take the job, so he took it, and now that he's gone, Bilbo will be homicide detective once he gets settled back in L.A. after the case is over and Frodo is going to feel a little weird about it, but he will get used to it. Tonight's installment is going to be me lancing Kili's leg to release the rest of the infection and his fever finally breaks and he sleeps most of the day because he is tired and weak from the lancing and I work with one of the horses there at the safe house and Thorin and Fili come out and watch me and it takes a few weeks, but Kili gets back up to his full strength and it comes back in a rush, and one night, James comes home with news that one of the M.I.6. field office agents is getting married and we are all invited and it is the social event of the year there for the agents since they mostly focus on work and I have been grooming the horses and come back in the house and find them all in a frenzy getting ready and I ask what is going on and Thorin fills me in, and James asks Kili if he really wants to go to the wedding because he hasn't been back up to his full strength for very long, and Kili wants to go because he has been effectively confined to the safe house while recovering from his gunshot wound infection and he is going a bit stir crazy, and James is very understanding and since Kili gets tired easily since he has just gotten back up to his full strength, we will leave early, and the next morning, we get ready and go to the wedding, and we have a lot of fun, and Thorin gives the happy couple a traditional Dwarvish wedding blessing, and Bilbo puts his two cents in and does a traditional Hobbit wedding blessing, and this is our first major social outing since Gandalf died because we have been in really deep mourning and not doing much except working on the case and taking care of Kili, and the wedding is in the newspaper in the morning because it was quite a big social event, and the newly married agents are moving to Hong Kong because the M.I.6. field office there offered him a job.
Hey, Darla. Our plans have been changed. We will be spending Christmas Day at home tomorrow and going out the next day to watch the movie and go out to eat. I was saddle sore today, but not much. I saw Byron today and they have moved the pregnant mares to the pasture in front of the foaling barn, so foaling watch has begun, and they have people renting out the stalls in the barn now. It has been fairly chilly all day here. I know, but he will have the holidays to recover from it.
Merry Christmas to you, too, Wendy.
Merry Christmas from Stripes & me.
Hey Wendy, your post was so well written for today, Christmas Day, that I borrowed it with a little editing.
Well everyone, it's Christmas Day, Hope you are all ready, we are finally, if I dont get to pop in tomorrow, I will pop the next so Sugar, Darla, Sandi , Sally, Donna, Kay, Val, Shell, Michela, Kristi, Karen, Angie, Laura, Elena, Teri, Deliah, Summerani, Betty, Gary,Penny, hope I haven't left anyone out, but please it is my memory, so all group members, Have a Merry Christmas, and a peaceful New Year, will chat soon, love
Betty, who's Joey? Tell us all about him! Tiger is the newbie here.
Good morning all! Hope this finds y'all doing well and with things going great. Things are good here. I got to pet Tigger today, very briefly! Progress is being made. We'll have ham and mashed potatoes today for our Christmas dinner. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone in the group.
Betty, I'm with Sugar, tell us all about Joey.
Take care everyone and have a fantastic day.
Merry Christmas everyone.
Merry Christmas everyone, it's been a long time since i've been here, it's good to see you Sugar and Val i hope all's been well for both of you. The kitties are all doing fine their bellies are stuffed to the hilt with turkey lol. I've been in touch with dear Abo as Donna told me he was worried for me so i put his mind at rest. I don't see many of the old ones here but i hope they are all doing well. I send you all the warmest of wishes and hope you all had a wonderful day.

Good morning all! Hope this finds y'all doing well and with things going great. Things are good here. Tigger was here this morning and so very cute sitting by the stairs watching my door waiting for me to come out! She didn't stay still long enough for me to pet her again but she did follow me about while I watered my plants. I didn't get out 'til 6:45 this morning so I was about 15 mnutes late. I forgot to check the temperature then but at 8:00am it was 48. We're supposed to have a low of 34 come Sunday and Monday will see us with a low of 28! So, I'll be wrapping my plants Saturday evening. Ray went back to work today after having 5 days off. Not much going on here, just my usual.
Love the Christmas pictures! Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas.
Take care everyone and have a fantastic day.

This is your missing in action host here. I am almost back computing again, but am very frustrated now, as nothing seems clear anymore. I feel like I have someone elses glasses on.
It has been a lot of tension and anxiety over this. Wild Willy is in to everything. He is 3 times is old kitten size too....Jimmy has been here at this computer working on it, and burned up too. I had so many problems with it before. I would get on, but it froze right away. Now the page is all crooked.
The page seems stretched now.
I have been making turkeys and soup for the last 2 weeks. Turkey chili, and Turkey rice soup and Turkey noodle and Turkey and cabbage. We were home for Christmas. No point in a tree with wild willy. He would eat the strand of lights.
Nothing planned for New Years either. I guess if I can get use to the writing on this I will be on the group for New Years.
Good evening, all. I just got back in from watching Desolation Of Smaug for the second time, only this time in IMAX 3 D and it was awesome! The movie was even better the second time around. I felt bad for Kili when he got shot in the leg by that Orc arrow. He had a rough time of it for a while and almost died, but Tauriel saved him by applying kingsfoil to the wound. It looked like it hurt because Kili was groaning and screaming and carrying on, but once it was over, he passed out. I had dinner at Mcdonald's with the gift card Sandy gave me, and Mom and Dad are out playing tennis with their tennis friends.
Good morning all! Hope this finds y'all doing well and with things going great. Things are good here. Got the bathroom cleaned yesterday. Thinking about dusting today if I get off the computer in time. It was raining and 50F when I went outside at 6:30 this morning. Tigger was there and allowed me to pet her again, very briefly. Not much going on here, just my usual.
Donna, sorry you're having problems with seeing your computer. Hope you get things figured out soon. So, Wild Willy's living up to his name huh? Try hanging a wreath and garland on your walls rather than using a tree. Next year maybe. That's a lot of turkey you're cooking. I'm sure the cats love it.
Laura, glad you enjoyed "Desolation of Smaug" so much. It's great you used your gift card from Sandy. Hope you enjoyed your meal. Hope your parent had fun playing tennis.
Take care everyone and have a fantastic day.
We didn't do any decorating this year. It has been this way for quite a few years now. It is never a good time of year for us.
I do have BIG news for all who remember me talking about a feral cat named Bubba with chronic upper respiratory disease. He had moved away about a month ago or longer.
The horse guy thought Bubba was his. Maybe he was there longer. Anyway, he called this morning, and said he is concerned about Bubba and the cold weather. he did get him and his buddy a large igloo, but, it only has a mat in it. sheesh.
Anyway, he wanted to know if I could bring him back here. This guy is waiting for a heart transplant, and has a bag with wires on him now. I didn't know about that until we got there.
I had asked if he could bring him back here in a carrier, and I could turn the heating pad back on. He said he didn't want to use HIS carrier, and if I didn't get him in, he would come right back. He told me he could pick him up. I said fine, Jimmy and I will be there in few minutes with my carrier, and I will be able to bring him into the house, and well, the good news is that he is now finally in.
I do feel sad that the other kitty is there. He has 5 house cats, but his wife will not allow another cat in. I mentioned that the igloo needs straw or a heating pad for Blacky. If he comes here looking for Bubba he will have a warmer igloo, or possibly bring him in. I don't want my cat Sparkey to get upset. I have been trying to drain his abcess for a good month now. It is taking me forever it seems. Sparkey doesn't seem to mind Bubba. Bubba is old, and so is Sparkey. Blacky is young.
Wow Donna you have your work cut out, nice to see you back we have missed you,
Hello everyone glad to read you all had a good Christmas, mine was busy, with both sons home, but very nice, as Luke cooked and Jack cleaned up, we "vegged out after dinner, watching films, sipping cocktails, the cats had their mad hour, loving their pressies, then collapsed full of their dinner and their turkey treats.
We livened up though in the evening and played board games, Boxing day was visiting day, and today has been turkey curry, relax day, cats have had a great time, going out, then back in to warm up, storms have been bad, lots of people flooded , such a shame.
Hey Betty who is the new fur baby
Hope you have a great Birthday tomorrow Sandi & Michela filled with lovexx
Sugar thankyou for the compliment, any time feel free to borrow and edit .
Donna really hope Sparkey gets well, and Bubba stays warm, and your nieghbour, gets his heart transplant, keep up the good work, really hope your computer holds out, and improves for you,
Hello Sally hope Christmas was good for you all, I know you will have found it sad too, xxwas thinking of you, and Teri .
Hello Laura, your Christmas sounds just right too ,
Well be back later love to you all Penny love the pics keep them coming hugs x wendy k x & kelly cats xxxx
The IMAX 3D version was great, Darla. There was more depth to it. I'm not sure what sort of poison was used on the arrow that Kili got shot with, but it sounded like it was quite painful from the way he was carrying on. One of the best parts was when Balin was talking to Bard to get them to take them to Laketown, and commented that the barge that Bard was using looked like it had seen better days and asked Bard how many children he had and Bard said that he had two girls and a boy and Balin said "and I'll bet your wife is a beauty." and Bard said that she had died and Balin looked a bit sad at that. Another of my favorite parts was when Thorin was asking Balin if he still remembered how to make a specific type of weapon and Balin said "aye, it won't take a jiffy" and he and two of the other dwarves prepared the weapons and were throwing them at Smaug.
A little bit about the "new" furbaby in my life.... I can't say that Joey is really that "new" now. I've had him since early November, so he's been with me for about 8 weeks. My daughter-in-law brought him to me. (She'd adopted one of his litter sisters.) When Joey came into my home, he was a tiny ball of fur not much bigger than the palm of my hand. He was just 6 weeks old. For me -- it was love at first sight! He was -- and is -- absolutely adorable! Ginger does NOT agree. The hiss/growl/slap is STILL going on. Ginger hasn't even begun to accept him. Will she ever? I don't know.... I've had quite a few people tell me (including my vet) that it could take a very long time. I'll try to post more about Joey later -- and keep y'all updated about the "adjustment/acceptance" progress....
Aww Betty and doesn't it break your heart, when (I am guessing) Joey goes up to Ginger looking for fun and friendship,
I was so lucky with Buni, as Jimi & Eric after 3/4 days, took to Buni, oh how he longed to be accepted, but i can remember when they ran away from him hissing, .>> A week later, Buni was climbing in the middle of them , demanding attention, from then on , Buni was theirs, sorry I can't offer any advice, but Mini hates all the boy cats, spits at them , chases them, but you know what, if I am looking for one of them at night, who is beside me, >Mini, she chases them in and once she see's me lock up , Mini will settle, So hope in time they can be friends, guess it is bit by bit? good luck x wendy k x & kelly cats xxxx
Good Evening everyone; I just noticed that Sandi and Michela share the same birth date, Dec.28th, that is my Mom's Birth date also, She told me when she was growing up as a child in the 1920 she always got pne gift and they would say oh Happy Birthday and Merry Christmas, it was like everyone just passed over her special day, So as an adult. My Dad and all of the kids made a big deal out of that one day IT WAS HER SPECIAL DAY, Dad would cook, the kids made arts and craft and when we got older we purchased small personal items just for her, No clothes or household items, It was always sweet smelling bath liquid, perfume, a nice pin or broach, a nice pair of ear rings. I do not know if it ever made up for the bad childhood memories, but I know she appreciated all of the effort we went thru to help her celebrate her Special Day. I do hope hope the SANDI and MICHELA enjoy their Day Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday Dear Sandi and Michela, Happy Birthday to you. May you both have many more great years, And may you receive all of your wishes, because you both are 2 GREAT LADIES nd only deserve the best Sincerely Kay M.
Good evening everyone! Just wanted to stop by and say hello and happy holidays ! I have been battling a bad cold but am feeling better. At first the dr thought I had bronchitis but thankfully that was an incorrect diagnosis! For those of you that celebrate Christmas- Meowy Catmas!
Kay, how sweet you were to your mom
Betty, I understand about Joey. We adopted Spikey about 8 mos ago and Whiskers, my 10 yr old furbaby, never forgot Spikey's "play-attack" on him in the beginning. They have never gotten along. Spikey still "stalks" Whiskers, and Whiskers still responds to him with aggression. We haven't given up but we do separate them (Spikey in our bedroom) when we go to work or are out for long periods of time. This week I was home and I did leave them out together and things have been fine so I am hopeful Good luck and don't give up!
Donna, glad you got Bubba inside finally. Sounds like you are making turkey everything. I hope your computer is behaving itself again. Do you have virus software on it? Let me know if you want my number- Arnie works in computers and just was on the phone with my friend helping her fix hers.
Darla, hope you had a great Christmas too.
Kay, I know how your Mom felt it seems everyone forgets you. It has gotten worse as I've got older, as I've lost my Mom and the one Aunt who never forgot. My Best friend who celebrated with me I lost a few years ago. It doesn't bother me as much now that I'm older. Thank you for your cards. Sandi Ps I now know 5 people that have the same Birthday. Happy Birthday Michela.
Hello everyone. I hope all is well. Joey will eventually be accepted. Tiger, Mouse and Wosie are dong fine together, running through the house and ambushing each other. Little Joe hate Tiger but in a few months, years it might get better. Punkin gets along with everyone. She is a very easy going cat.
Sandi, tell Stripes Mouse is fine and can't wait to get in touch with her again, but not this morning, I am getting ready to go to a funeral. It's been a very busy time with get togethers the last few days and now it is almost time to start partying again!
I don't have much time so God Bless you all.
Good morning all! Hope this finds y'all doing well and with things going great. Things are good here. Found out from my neighbor yesterday that Black Beauty has been coming in the afternoons. Tigger was waiting for me this morning as usual. I didn't yty touching her this morning as I figure I'll do that every other day for awhile then work up to every day. She did have her tail up this morning but it was too dark on the porch for me to get a good look. Right now Tigger is playing with Kona at our computer room window. Kona paws on the glass and meows at her while she paws at the screen. Ray went to HEB and to pick up prescriptions this morning. Not much else going on here, just my usual.
Donna, I completely understand. We didn't decorate either except for my putting our Yule wreath out by the front door. We did get some nice gifts from our kids as well as Ray's sister and parents. But this is not a good time of year for us either. My mom has gifts that she couldn't mail as mine is too heavy and Ray's is too fragile so she'll deliver it asap, hopefully over New Year's or just after. But we're not in a position to give gifts back except for a very little bit to our kids. I do send out cards every year and hope the thought counts. Congratulations on getting Bubba in! Glad Sparkey doesn't mind Bubba and vice versa. Hope the horse guy puts some hay in the igloo for Blacky and that he gets his heart transplant.
Wendy, glad you had a good Christmas and Boxing Day. Sounds like the cats had a good day too.
Laura, glad you so enjoyed the IMAX 3-D version
Betty, Joey sounds adorable. Sorry Ginger doesn't agree. It'll take time and, yes, sometimes it takes months. What color is Joey? Would love to see a picture of him.
Kay, that was so sweet of y'all to make your mom's day separate from Christmas.
Kristi, sorry you've been sick but glad you're feeling better. Glad it wasn't bronchitis. So, Spikey and Whiskers still don't get along huh? That's too bad but sounds like y'all are doing all the right things. Maybe one day they'll surprise you.
Sandi, great to see you here. Happy Birthday! Sorry you're overlooked and that you've lost the ones who remembered.
Sugar, glad to hear that Tiger, Mouse, and Wosie are doing so well together. It's great that Punkin gets along with him. Sorry Little Joe hates him. Sorry to hear that you have to go to a funeral.
Take care everyone and have a fantastic day.
Me, too, Darla. The one thing that irritated me, though was that Tauriel really should have washed off the kingsfoil before she mashed it up and put it on Kili's leg to avoid getting the bacteria from the pig's mouth in Kili's wound, but I think she pretty much took care of any pig spit issues when she mashed it up and was rubbing it in her hands before working on Kili.
I am still working on my story. We finally caught one of the bad guys and Kili was chasing after him and the guy was making for the canal and Kili did a flying leap to tackle the guy, but miscalculated and ended up in the canal and Thorin told him to get out of there before he caught cold ad Kili came out of the canal and Thorin continued the chase and chased the suspect into a Buddhist monastery and the monks got all freaked out and Thorin finally caught the guy and we took him to the C.S.I. field office where that guy spent the night in a jail cell and we went to the F.B.I. field office because Kili had a change of clothes there and he had a shower, and the next morning, Thorin did the interrogation and I asked Kili how long it would take before the suspect cracked and confessed and Kili said it wouldn't take long at all because Thorin is a total genius at getting stubborn suspects to crack: he goes in there and just starts questioning them and doesn't let up until the suspect finally blurts something out and Kili was about to tell me stories of past cases where Thorin had some really stubborn suspects, but didn't get to because Thorin was starting the interrogation and we wanted to listen, and the interrogation went well for a while and the suspect cracked, then became unresponsive and Thorin leaned in to check on him and his skin was hot, and then the suspect started attacking Thorin and choked him and kicked him in the ribs and Kili and Fili and I went in there and started pounding on the guy to get him to let Thorin go and he did, and then he started kicking Thorin in the ribs and Kili had to pound on him some more to get him to stop, and the guy collapsed and died and Internal Affairs was all over it and came and took Kili away for questioning and interrogated him for a long time and tried to manipulate the situation and make it look like Kili had cracked from the strain of the case and couldn't control himself and killed the suspect, but James intervened on Kili's behalf and set Internal Affairs straight and told them to leave his team alone, especially Kili, and they agreed and backed off and Kili was very grateful to James for doing that, and Balin came back in from his walk since he had been in the lab all morning and we told him what had happened and he was shocked but relieved that Kili had been left alone, and he had gone out to the bakery and had brought back some treats, and had even sent some apple fritters home to my dad, and he found a little puppy outside on the sidewalk in front of the field office and brought it in and we are keeping it for the weekend, and then we went back to the safe house and Thorin slept most of the afternoon because the pain medicine that he is on for his broken ribs made him sleepy and Kili took me out to dinner at one of my favorite European restaurants as his way of thanking me for helping him get through his gunshot wound infection crisis and we had a good dinner and went back to the safe house and Fili was doing his Brazillian Butt Lift work out and he had unbraided his hair for the night and his hair was flying around everywhere and he was sweaty and I was very amused at what he was doing and Thorin was reading and drinking tea and I asked him if tea keeps him up at night and he said that it doesn't and it helps him to sleep, especially if he has had a lot on his mind and I asked him if he did have a lot on his mind and he said that he has not and has felt very peaceful and I asked him how he had so much peace about him and they have a Buddhist monk as a neighbor and he has been teaching Thorin some of the tenants of Buddhist philosophy and Thorin just absorbed it like a sponge, and Fili and Kili give him a lot of peace, and I have been giving him a lot of peace, too, because I project a very peaceful energy, and we all hugged Thorin, and then we all got settled in for the night, and early in the morning, I was awake because I sensed that something was wrong and went to check on Kili, and Fili and Thorin and Bilbo were up comforting him because he had had a nightmare about Gandalf's shooting brought on by all that rich European food that we had for dinner and the nightmare upset him and I hugged him and let him cry on my shoulder until he settled down and I told Fili, Thorin and Bilbo to go back to bed and that I would stay with him and I just hugged Kili for a while and comforted him and spent the night in the chair by the bedside in case he needed me again during the night. Tonight's installment is more work on the case, and then in the evening, we get invited out to a karaoke session with some of the guys from the M.I.6. field office and Kili doesn't want to go because the anniversary of Gandalf's death is starting and he feels sad and doesn't want to start crying in front of total strangers, and James is very understanding and the rest of them go and I stay with Kili and comfort him and the rest of the group comes back and the karaoke session was fun.
Happy birthday, Sandi. Hope you had fun.
Darla, Tigger's tail up is a good sign. Remember when I couldn't tell if Tiger was a boy or girl cause he had his tail tucked down almost between his tail? And as time went by he carried it higher and higher but I still couldn't tell what he was, girl or boy. Oh well it came out ok. He ended up being my first guess, a neutered male. A real sweetheart too. He wants to go outside some, but until Spring he is house bound.
Hi Sandi, the Birthday Girl. I hope you had a wonderful day.
Hi Michela, did I miss your Birthday? I'm sorry if I did. Things around this time of the year are pretty hecktic and then my half brother died very unexpectedly. His sister found him. He lived alone. Like I do. Well I don't live entirely alone. I have all my furkids.
I need to feed Kenny again and myself before getting ready for Church. Hopefully I will log on again tonight, that is if I don't have to go to Ellen's later today.
Good morning to each and everyone, especially those I missed in this post and God Bless all,
