Hi!

Glad to be here, I have a small garden outside my apt. door, but to me its where I sit and get away from all things, I'm an herbalist so I love growing things, and making all kinds of recipes using them, medicinal included. Hope to meet alot of you members and get to know all of you. Blessing Mary

Hello I find this topic quite interesting, I do not have a spiritual garden space yet as my landlord will not let me plant a garden , but I would like to learn all I can and just feel the peace because I know one day I will have a beautiful sacred space outside for me, In the Light Heidi

hello, I"m a gardener, currently spending some time on an organic farm in Sooke,BC. I love to use natural and herbal medicine as much as I can, and it's nice to be able to discuss the use of certain herbs with people, rather than only books and stuff. On that, last week I used a hot poultice made of mashed comfrey leaves and roots, which was quite soothing on my strained knee.

All the best!

Just wanted to stop by and say hello to everyone!!!!!!

My husband and I are gardeners as well.  We live in Ohio and it is just now getting warm enough to start to get our veggie garden ready to plant.  I also have flower beds that I'm trying to get ready too. We just planted 5 fruit trees a couple of weeks ago.  I was able to get them marked down because some of the trees had frost damage to the leaves.  But I had prayed for them and sent them LIGHT, and they are doing just fine.  They are getting new greenage on the branches and are very well!!!!

Good to see you all! (*_*)

hi on New Year's Day

Just to say hello.   I too am an apartment dweller in the city, but we have a garden space at the front of the building.  For the first time in my recollection, someone decided to garden this past summer.  How well I remember the bed of marigolds, now that outdoors it  is well dusted with snow.  And my indoor rosemary bush seems to be thriving.  Perhaps in late Spring it will go out on the balcony.  I'm told that gardeners get serious here in Ontario after the Victoria Day holiday - I think so.

I am new. I live in rural Kentucky and have my little bit of paradise. I see it has been awhile since there has been a posting.I know this isn't a good time of year to think about gardening, it only frustrates us. I am busy making plans for the spring and soon it will be time to prune roses and deadhead perenials. I am looking forward to swapping ideas with the rest of the gang.

Blessings, Jessie

I'm Mara, and I live north of Seattle.  I've been a professional gardener for years, and I'm find it very difficult to switch to a frame of mind that is more respectful of the plants while I'm gardening.  Too many years of doing things quickly and pleasing the client.  It's lovely to have a place like this to get support for a different way of looking at gardens!

Hi, I'm new to Care2 and to this group. I am a NJ transplant in the High Sierra of Eastern CA and starting my life over here. Starting my gardening over here too! For me, every step of gardening is a spiritual experience and I hope to translate that into healing the environment and my community as well, with community gardens here in CA.

What a beautiful and warming group! Hello my name is Barbara, there is nothing more satisfying and nurturing than to go into my garden and tend to it and harvest it.I find this very spiritual, and I am happy to have joined this group with other like minded folks

Hello all! I'm new to the group. To me being surrounded by nature is spiritual in itself, so this group is very appealing. I love to garden. My grown daughter and I are going to be doing landscaping around the spiritual spot in our backyard garden this year. Basically to better surround it with growing things.

We've used the area as sacred space for a number of years and last spring a "faery ring" of darker grass and mushrooms began to develop there. We plan to work on the surrounding area without disrupting the incredible energies already flowing within it.

For anyone unable to actually "plant" things, a makeshift patio with a canopy, lawn furniture and a few potted plants can create an awesome private space.

Thank you for being here.
