Hi everyone     

I have been a care2 member for years, but kind of new to the "groups".  I never thought to check for a PA group;  so thank you for the invite - great to be here.  I'm a 31/f/Philly.  I have to get some sleep now, but I wanted to write a quick "hello" and put it out there that I'm looking for a place to do some volunteer work in the South/Center City Phila. area.  I haven't browsed the topics yet, but I'm thinking this group is probably a good place to find something.   I'm an RD (registered dietitian) into preventative health care, but I am on disability for surgery.  If anyone knows of any places that need volunteers, feel free to write me personally.  If not, I'm sure I can browse the topics for something.  I really love animals, so that's what I'm looking for.  I saw some familiar faces in this group and I look forward to meeting new members       Again, it's great to be here.  I just hope I can keep up with the group due to my on and off health issues.

Thanks for asking.  The move will be to the Lancaster Pa area.  My brother and his family have been living there for over 15 years and my boyfriend's family is in Lebanon County, though we meet in DE. We looked at different locations and decided it would be a great area to plant some roots.

I am a little confused...north eastern part of Pennsylvania...north of Pittsburgh?  Pittsburgh is in western Pennsylvania.  Philadelphia is in eastern Pennsylvania.

I am from Kenya I had a friend in Care2 from Jeannette PA who was very dear to me and due to some circumstance she was deleted from Care2, she did anything wrong, have been trying to know her whereabout.  I think by joining this group, I know I will get how to reach her.

Debby, we are practically neighbors.  I live in Perryopolis...highway 51 south of you.  I love to shop for books in South Hills.  There are terrific book stores in the South Hills.
