I seem to have had the good sense to end up at your fine group. I am new to the whole thing and this looks like a good place to be. I had a quick perusal of the other closed Welcome thread and found it a lot of fun. I especially like the personality profiles provided by Eric. By their deeds shall you know them, I say!
I'll enjoy myself having a good poke 'round the threads.
with a note of introduction to each. My name is Phil and I am living in northeast Georgia and a "beginner" in the learning and practicing ZEN philosopy and action. I think I have finally become of age where I can gain knowledge and implement with an open mind.
I look forward to learning from each of you and sharing when appropriate.
I do genuinely wish for this group's resurrection. It's profound & thoughtful & beautiful. It's what my soul needed @ 3am, but it's lonely. Is it forgotten?

"The world isn't so much as we find it, but as we make it" - Long Island Zen
I found this book at a library book sale for 50 cents. It should of been 50$ that is how great it is! Each day I open a random page and read the Zen message and find a way to use it in my life for the next 24 hours. The above was todays message.I found this group while looking at another persons profile. I am very happy I did.
