I'm a pit bull. Mom's name is Tanya. Mom never had children, so I think she had "empty nest" thing going on, so The cats and I are her "kids".

The media is always telling awful stories about my relatives, and most of us are wonderful sweet dogs. Mom tries to get the word out anywhere she can. I live with two cats, "Sylvester and Midnight". I get along great with them. When the two of them fight, sometimes I go over and "nudge" one of them away to break it up. Sylvester is very jelous. Sometimes when I am getting attention he gets jelous and bites my ear. I don't want to fight. I just move away.

Around last Christmas, they were talking about Breed Specific Legislation in Louisville Ky. Mom made me wear these embarrassing reindeer ears and send them all Christmas cards.....

Mom made me pose with "bunny ears" last week, and told me they are getting "Thank you" mail, for considering making their dangerous dog laws not "Breed Specific". I guess if it helps my relatives it is worth it.

I was so sure we had already introduced ourselves, but we're not here, so here we go.

My name is Annie and my brother's name is Max.  We're shih tzus from the same litter born on January 2, 1996.  Our papers say Jan. 3 but we think we were born around midnight and our breeder got confused.  Our sister (actually our person, but her mom calls her our sister) is Katie.  She feels bad saying she got us from a breeder, but the more important thing is she now knows better.  Besides, if she had adopted, then she wouldn't have us.

I'm kind of a goof.  I'm losing my sight and I tend to turn around into things.  I also like tricks.  I'm not very good at learning them, but anything that has me flying through the air is great!

Max is the calm one, although he's very hyper after he does his daily duty.  I don't understand why that's so special.  He loves kids and the elderly.  Katie keeps trying to get pet therapy certified, but she works a lot and it's hard.  They get to visit her grandma with Alzheimer's, though.

Anyway, that's us.  Two people - I mean dogs - with a lot of personality.

I can't write like I'm an animal so I'll just write normally. I am Terri from Arizona. I have 5 permanent dogs: Sparky the Dalmatian, Molly the Bassett, Katie the Cocker Spaniel, and Foxy the Pom-Chihuahua mix. All of them were rescued.

I have three cats: (just lost my Webster of 14 years this year) Wickett the Tortoiseshell, Silky the Himalayan and Sunny the white tabby mix. They are also rescued.

I have 9 foster dogs: Wilie, Peter, Sheila, Fritz, Nathan, Xena, Lizzy, Buddy and Ace. They are all mixed breeds.

Ah, now that I have finally wrassled the keyboard away from my human servant I can intro myself and the rest of da pound.

My name is Sammy, I'm an American Pit Bull Terrier (that's a pic of me up to the left) I have one of those fancy smancy long names too but my servant doesn't use it much. My servants (we have 2 in this house) call me the Sherman Tank or the Monster Truck, I don't know why...what does 101 pounds mean? I like sitting in their laps (I only fit on them half-way so the rest of me lays on the couch or in the chair) or laying on them full out like a blanket (I really love to do that, I don't know why they can't breathe). One of my servants calls me the Pompeii Dog because I love to lay on my back with my legs up in the air and try to fold my body in half while I do it....I can sleep like that...for hours! I have an online girlfriend named Layla, she lives in Washington state and is an APBT too. My servants are really good friends with her servants. We live in Texas. I am 3 1/2 yrs old and I am the baby!!!

I guess I better intro y'all to the rest of the pound....

There are 6 of us four-leggeds living in this house. And yes, we ALL live IN the house...none of us are 'outside' dawgs. My servants do us proud in the way they can manage all of us without bloodshed or even a raised lip !!! I guess that's why they took us to that nasty, heartless, mean thing called Obedience School. A couple of us are also 'security trained'...whatever that means. I think it means that the boxers get free run all night through most of the house! They get to have more fun than I do, that's what I think. Anyway, on with the intros...

3 of us are 'Ancient Ones' (that's what the servants call them because they are old, crotchety and only associate amongst themselves), they are Jake (Golden Retriever), Rocky (Chow Chow) and Nomi (female boxer). They have a room all to themselves and really hate to be separated from eachother. Nomi is the only female four-legged here, the rest of us are males. Nomi is the oldest, she's 10. Jake is 8 1/2 and Rocky is 8 yrs old.

Then there's the Boxer Boys, a father and son team! Buster and Harley. They have really long fancy-smancy names too and the only time you hear a variation of those names is if someone isn't minding. We mind pretty good but hey, we're big, we're mean-lookin (to those who do not know us) and we have our own agenda (yes, world domination is at the top of our list). Sometimes we 'act up' merely to keep our servants on their toes. Can't let the help get complaisant can we! We keep them alive solely for our comfort and convenience! Anyway, Buster is the Alpha Male of this troop. He is also Harley's daddy. Harley thinks he wants to run somethin' but Buster keeps him in line and has to remind him every once in a great while that he ain't runnin' nothin'. Harley has a nickname given to him by our female servant. She calls him The Antichrist. Personally, I just think he's not right in the head if ya know what I mean. I always look at him like he's crazy and not worth my time to get all jiggy with it. That really gets to him....that I won't rise to the bait. Hey, I'm a pit bull, I do not have to prove it. Everyone else is ok with that...but HIM, the Alpha-wannabe. Good thing he is mellowing with age, at least that is what the female servant says. Buster is 6 yrs old and Harley is 4 1/2. Like I said....I'm the baby!

Guess I better let y'all know our servants names since, after all, they do care for us and maintain a certain standard of living we are accustomed to. Yes, we are all well loved, well worshipped and adored as is our right and privelege. The female servant's name is Terrie (we allow her to believe she is in charge and is the Alpha Female--silly human) and the male servant's name is Ted (he's the Omega of this troop and he knows it but we allow him to believe that he has some control over us--this amuses us greatly). The female calls us her Children of the Corn, whatever that means.

Well, she is stirring in the other room so I guess I better get off this thing or she will figure out I know how to type. Nice to meet y'all.

Tisn't easy for him, such a huge boy and we are full time RV'ers he shares a 27 foot motorhome with us and the kitty while we build our house, and he has to have his body pillow to sleep on and his deflated babies, his giant tennis ball AND his blankie. Poor Josie has the front of the seats, my bed and the bathroom as well as my chair to lounge in. Me...I just have my chair and the kitchen! LOL

I like to pee on her bed and don't understand why she grumbles and washes the bedding every time I do. I only do it when I want extra food or my box cleaned out (once a day is NOT enuff, IMO) I do it most if that darn dawg has slept on the bed...have to cover his smell don't yanno.

I don't care much for my brother or dad (unless he has treats, then I pretend to love him) But I am a sweetie, Also cute and fluffy. I was rescued from the pound, dad says now he knows WHY I was there in the first place.hehehe

Hi everyone...I'm the hansome fella in the pic and my name is Tiny. I'm 6 and 1/2 years old. My mommy is Nicole and she spoils me rotten. She's asleep on the couch and she left the computer on, she should know better. I live here with my daughter Bandit (I still don't think she's mine). She is a 4 and 1/2 years old wild child. Mommy put lots of pics of us on her photo albums. I love having my pictures taken, but little Bandit is a bit camera shy. There is also a pair of cats living here, I don't know what mommy was thinking. Roxie is a grey tabby who is about a year old now. The other one she calls kitty was a stray she picked up a few weeks ago. Boy, she is a little pig. She eats all the time. The last one of our little gang is a big white bunny with gray floppy ears that mom found outside our apartment. I like it when he comes out to play. All of us get along great. I'm a border collie crossed w/ something else, no one seems to talk about. I'm getting a little old, but can still guard the property and herd my humans and the cats as well as anyone.

I just got out of the doghouse so-to-speak for stealing some food out from under her nose after dinner--it was sooo worth the trouble I got into!

My favorite pastimes are laying on the couch, napping all over the house, and chasing an empty plastic bottle to chew the cap off. Oh, and it's really great to chase cats or any other small animals when I dash out the door unexpectedly--wow, I'm getting too old to do that very often, though, and it sure does make my momma worried-crazy about me. Mew-Mew everyone  My name is Mia.  I'm a Siamese Kitty, about 5 years old.  My human, Lisa (her nickname here is Geminigold) rescued me from living the life of a stray a few years ago.  

Lisa found me on her doorstep & I had a nasty bite wound on my back leg by my tail.  I was a good girl & did not fuss or cry.  I let Lisa the human pick me up & she took me to a place called Emergency Vets.  Those people at the Vets were very-meowy nice to me.  The Vets told my purr-son that I might lose my tail.  But, the vets did such a good job fixing me & my purr-son, Lisa, gave me my medicine regularly.  So I healed up nicely & got to keep my beautiful tail.  It's not only a wonderful, practical counter-balance when I run & jump, but is such a gorgeous fashion accessory 

My favorite thing to do is sleep....I'm a purrr-fessional snoozer . So if you don't hear from me sometimes,  I'm just doing my job

Hello everyone!  I am MacCallum.  I have two humans, an older step-sister who is a Beagle-pei, three cats that are all different, as well as three creatures that my mom calls 'betta fish'.  The fish don't ever come out and play with me, but the cats do offer some entertainment.  Lentil, he is my pal.  We snuggle and rub heads and sniff each other in passing.  Isabelle is scared of me, and every time I race over to try and hang out with her, she takes off.  Sometimes she graces me with a nice hiss too...  Buddy is the king of this castle (he owns this house) and we all respect him.

My favorite pastimes (besides hanging here on Care2 when mom isn't watching, I have gotten quite good with nose typing, haven't I??) are biting my sister Lizard (dog) and wrestling with her, chewing on my polliwog toy that 'ribbits' in the middle of the night (I even heard mommy and daddy laughing about my polliwog toy after I woke 'em up to play with me.)  A funny thing about me is that ever since I was a small puppy, I wanted FOOD, and I'd get SO excited that I'd run round and round and round, nonstop...  Now, mommy and daddy have taught me how to do this trick by saying the words 'round and round'.  I guess, I was so hungry before the pet rescuers found me, along with all of my brothers and sisters, in a dumpster.  We all almost died, but we were so lucky to each find homes.  I am glad to be a part of this family, and hope that my brothers and sisters are just as happy.  When I came here, I only weighed 3 pounds, now I am pushing 90.  I'm a real dog now, daddy said so.  I'm 2.

Oh, mommy wouldn't want me to forget to tell you about my famous tail.  I guess most dogs have a fairly straight tail - not mine.  My tail is like a corkscrew, or (like mommy lovingly says) like a pig's tail.  When I was little, I am told it looked exactly the same size as a curly fry, but I've filled out a bit...

I am Wolf, my pic is the group photo this week.  I crossed the rainbow bridge two years ago, but my owner really loved me a lot, and has no one who understands in the real world, so she is working through her grief, finally, here.  Since I was part wolf, I was very very smart, and she feels like she lost a child, and her best friend.  In my pack I also had a mongrel she found dying on the side of the road in Africa when she lived there, named Hobo, who is still with her, and an orphaned African Wildcat who had 3 kittens, two of whom are still with her, two with me.  Wolves are the teachers of the animal world, and my mom is still learning from me.

My name is Dixydoodles and my Mom doesnt like for me to get online too often. She thinks I am spoiled enough. Nawww. I love to play and I love to start troubles. I bark when Mom is on the computer very long. I whine just when she wants to go to sleep. I start an argument with my sisters so she will have to get up and see whats up. Then I smile real big and all is forgiven. Oh and my Mom is Ryvre. I am fearless when it comes to protecting her. I might be little but I know just where to nip the heel to make you forget about Mom. My big sis is good at diverting your attention anyway. She has big teeth. Gulp! Dad trained her to protect Mom and all of us. She thinks she is tough but I can knock her over easy. Wooooooooofffffffffff!

Our Mom Sharleen is a bit ditzy at times but we love her!  We found the petition to get Newton out of C2 doggy pound  and talked our mom into signing.  She hid the keyboard so we can't make our own profiles here, said there were too many ideas we might not understand! HA!  We are definately smarter than she thinks!!  Maybe not, she did hide the darn keyboard!

Hi, my name is Kali, my humans are Denise, her sister, & her grandfather.  Denise & her sister think that I'm a pit bull-dachshund mix.  I have had a rough life & I just turned 2 on July 15th.  I'm a sensitive Cancer & I pick up on almost everyone's feelings.  Overall, I'm a happy girl, but I know that Denise & her sister were not too happy whenthey saw me "playing" with a fledgling bird in my backyard on my birthday.  But Denise saved it, to my dismay.  My humans have forgiven me, knowing that it's just my instinct & Denise is thankful that I am gentle & my "molars" don't touch, so I don't think I hurt the bird!  Either way, I still stalk squirrels & birds & if it weren't for these damn tags on my collar, I would've gotten one already!  I forgot to mention, I am accompanied by 3 fish in my house:  2 goldfish named Hairline & Lipstick (don't ask lol) & a beta named Verve.  I have many nicknames, like "Kali-Flower", "Foofi-Butt", "Queen Narcolepsia", & "Ninja-Gymnast" (I guess it's cuz I'm very muscular & quiet).
