this morning my youngest rat choo choo had a seziure and is not doing well she cant use her front paws and her mother wont leave her side. choo choo is 1y4m old and was in great health im not sure what happened but i fear that she will not be with us much longer. how do i tell my seven year old son that she might pass away? he seen her be born and showed her at fair last year and took best of show with her and 2nd place with her father.  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

I suggest gently explain to your son that your yongest rat is going to be able to not be in pain anymore. He might understand that better. I'm very sorry about all of that. If she seems in pain, I really suggest taking her to the vet and having her put down. But make sure you get a vet that first gasses them. I had a vet that just gave the shot and it was awful. after waiting for choo choo to pass on this weekend i didnt give up hope on her. i feed her and watered her with a eyedropper all weekend. i get up for work this morning and she is running around her tank with her mother all happy and eating and drinking on her own. im totally stumped over thing but i am also very happy that she is better  [ send green star]  [ accepted]
