Rabbit Interactive Conference

Following on from our highly successful Conference in September, we will be holding a second conference in Edinburgh on Saturday, 24th November, at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies.

Places are being taken every day, so please book yours now to ensure you aren't disappointed.

The programme will be largely the same as in the earlier Conference and for veterinary clinical staff, this will mean attendance will give them 6 hours of certificated CPD.

Unlike our Conferences in years gone by, this year we are interactive - there are several workshops with hands-on activities.

Topics and speakers are as follows

Vet Stream

Main sessions

Vet Kevin Eatwell – Anaesthesia
Vet Elizabetta Mancinelli – Managing long term snuffles
Vet Jenny Preeble – Diet – the latest research
Vet Anna Meredith – Neurological disease - head tilts and beyond

Masterclass workshops and round table discussions (2 per delegate)

Vet Elisabetta Mancinelli – Clinical examination
Round table discussions for vets with vet Anna Meredith
Round table discussion for nurses with vet Jenny Preebles
Intubation and Dentistry – with vet Kevin Eatwell
Behaviour – with behaviourist Dr Anne McBride

Owner Stream

Main sessions

Vet Jenny Prebbles – Diet: The latest research
Dr Anne McBride - Behaviour
Vet Kevin Eatwell - Anaesthesia

I'm so glad that the September conference was so successful, Ros and I hope this next one will be the same.  It appears more and more people are becoming involved with the well being of rabbits and hopefully they will spread the good and informative news.
