So it is really true that in order for a group to thrive, it needs a collection of digruntled, right-wing bigots and warmongers?
There seems to be a corresponding drop in activity at AP with the disappearance of the crazed, right-wingnuts.
Birthers, too. Apparently the group needs some Birther activity. That's always popular.
Here, I'll get the party started:
george soros payd one million to seal obama's collidge records/obama had his collige records sealed!!1!11!! What's he trying to hide??????/?/??
obama has never relesed his birth certificate!!11!11!!!!! whats he trying to hide?????????????//???
Maybe we just need some new threads. Though I know you have posted some.
The threads seem to die for lack of idiot right-wing ramblings.
Well, I think that pretty much every thread ends up being about the same things, even though they don't start that way. So, the same arguments go round and round. 'Cause all the different issues are interconnected, so, we could probably have a thread about Popeye's chicken, and we'll still end up talking about Obama, Romney, healthcare, foreign policies, the economy, and all the rest, all in the span of that one thread. lol
I'm certainly not above the blame, by any means, of course.
At least a new thread isn't as long. They can't ALL be 1000 fancy pants posts.
Mostly, I just notice the lack of the usual suspects, here. Buck, Angela, Cam, Flava, and the rest.
But, I guess we all need a reprieve from the Royal Rumble at times. This place can get messy, no denying that, lol.
Buck is almost always AWOL from this group except for that recent brief period, and of course, the caurdli Maui never shows at all, nor do the other two hosts.
It's the nutbars like Praetorian who are missing, which is good, except that their absence keeps the group calm and inactive.
So anyway, how the fuk does Obama's birth certificate even matter in the first place? Aren't the racist assholes who are screaming for Obama's birth certificate now, the same racist assholes who, back in the 1990s, were calling for a change in the Constitution to allow foreign-born politicians such as Arnold Schwarzenegger to become President?
Hypocrite, racist assholes.
Personally, I have appreciated learning some of the points of view here and have not really found any of the regular posters here to be "digruntled, right-wing bigots" or "crazed, right-wingnuts".
But, Hmmmmm, I had forgotten about Arnold.
Yes, most people have. I happen to be old enough to remember the steady stream of arguments in favour of changing the Constitution in order to allow foreign born nationals to become president, and those arguments came straight from supporters of Arnold Schwarzenegger both before and after he became governor of Caleefornya.
Where are those people now?
The Birth Certificate, I can see both sides of the issue on that.
On one hand, the guy's been so useless in office, and has wiped his ass with our rights so many times that really, that ought to be enough to put him in hot water. So, the certificate, to me seems kind of superfluous.
On the other hand, that would be an interesting piece of evidence against not just Obama, but if traced, could lead to the identification and downfall of all those who put him in power. After all, he's likely just a figure-head, a mouthpiece for the real owners of this country.
Like it or not, this country is a crime scene. We're just short a few hundred detectives and DAs with scruples, cojones, and resources with which to do what needs doing.
But, even with that in mind, I feel it's a waste of time, given all the other stuff that's going on. There's a lot at stake, and to focus on the downfall of one man, instead of the downfall of an entire organized crime ring; is just losing site of what it's really all about. It's stepping right into the farce, right into the illusion. Obama, Romney, and all these others are a distraction. They mean nothing. It's the corporations that buy them and pull their strings that need to be brought down.
And I just thought Christian was bored and went fishing.
The only bright spot is Uno's new profile pic
Well I did read on the NET that Romney is actually a closet Baptist Evangelical born in San Francisco
Michael! Shane! Suzanne! Nancy! Uno! Christian! It is good to see you guys. I had the death of my computer to contend with and am just now getting back in full swing. Once I got a little more comfortable with Windows 7, things are looking up. I also have all three big browsers at hand and have been experimenting with Chrome and IE9 along with FF 12. whatever.
I am really tired of the same old campaign stuff on TV so I have mostly been avoiding it except for PBS News hour and BBC.
This is just my opinion of course, but I think Romney doesn't know what or who he is. He is a chameleon at best. He tries so hard to be 'just one of the guys" in his shirt sleeves rolled up and his collar open and his jean, but who exactly is he? He changes who he is to whatever audience he is speaking to. He is a confusing individual.
If the Republicans had only let Buddy Roemer into the circle, I think they would have a genuine candidate with concrete ideas that stay the same no matter who he is talking to. I would take a look at him were he availabel to run, which he is. But they would not let him into the race and debates because he did not raise enough money in the alotted amount of time or somesuch folderol.

Hi Mary, nice to see you back. Know you have had alot on your plate these last few weeks, glad to know it's getting back to normal.
As far as Romney, and who he is. Do we know who any of them really are? They all play to the crowd to which they speak.
I agree with you about Roemer, Mary. He was very impressive - not the usual globalist/religilitical/corporate twit.
Glad to see all of you back here as well.
So, in short, Romney's your a-typical politician. No surprise there. And just like your a-typical politician, he's likely not very trustworthy.
Good to see you all, I hope you have a pleasant Memorial Day weekend.
Christian, I haven't forgotten your feelings on the sales and such that surround this day. I still agree with what you said about it and plan to attend a memorial service at a neighboring town Monday morning. I'd like to thank you for your efforts in that regard. It woke me up.
A Republican, a Democrat and an independent walk into a bar, the bar tender looks up and says "HI Mitt"
Good one, Michael.
Suzanne in reference to Christian's yearly diatribe against sales--that would be MATTRESS sales that are particularly galling to him. I will never again celebrate Memorial Day without thinking about the plethora of Mattress sale ads.
Christian has a diatribe? The HELL you say!
Yes. A red one.
