AS you can read on my blog.. I am in need of prayer. I am having trouble dealing with the stress, anxiety and depression of everything. I fear for my health.

I ask for prayer for strength, peace and answers. I pray that God will help the people who are in charge of my medicade to re-instate it and for Him to help me find answers to my dental and eye issues before I get very ill or worse.

I have a prayer request.� My husband found out on Christmas night that he has a gall stone over 1/2" big.� He is trying a natural citric flush tonight because the VA doctors are telling him he will need surgery to remove his gall bladder.� I am praying that God will lay his healing hands upon him and lets him pass this stone and surgery will not be needed.��

Slaughter at Moscow Synagogue: eight people stabbed

Eight people were injured as a result of an assault Wednesday night at the synagogue in the centre of Moscow. According to the synagogue's rabbi Yitzhak Kogan at least four people were badly wounded as the criminal was armed with the knife. The assault was conducted during the evening devotion, he said.

“It was evening prayers. I heard screaming. When I rushed out I saw a man, who tried to escape. Further in the hall I came across three or four people, who were bleeding,” rabbi went on. The mentor of the synagogue managed to seize the criminal and disarm him. “I think he is insane,” said the head of the Congress of Jewish Religious Organizations and Associations in Russia Zinovij Kogan.

The spiritual ancestor of the synagogue also admitted that the armed criminal made no exclamations and didn’t say a word, but “I came here to kill”. In the accident brother-in-law of the synagogue rabbi was wounded. In bad condition he was immediately brought to hospital.

From the words of the rabbi the situation gets worse every day, and the leadership of the synagogue had nothing left but to apply a request to the government security agencies in order to get some help

I received an e-mail from a stranger tonight asking for urgent prayers for a very sick little baby. I ask those of you who pray to do so for this poor little child who has had a terrible start in life. I know that wonderful things can happen if we place our trust in God. Here is the e-mail:

My mother had a small heart attack last night, she's been having silent and no so slient storkes for some time and her doctor wouldn't send her for any tests, we hoped he would AGREE TO by Christmas.

Because of my situation and malpractice and iwth several hosptials here, she can't even use my real name as contact, if they bring my files up they may kick her out, or not give her proper care,�as they have done to me repeatedly to cover for themselves.

I am too ill/disabled to be with her and am waiting for the phone to ring. I have no other family, my mothers relatives have already been moving in for the kill and got my falsified medical records, wherein none ont eh brain/body damage exisits, and let telling my mother to put me in a nursing home where they live & take over my finances. They are waiting for her to go, get her stuff and move in on me & try to declare me incompent & I can't afford a law firm let alone huge malpractice firm.�I live in my own apt and should have beenput in supportive care housing over 2� years ago.

We have never been close, but started, trying the past 2 years, and I have been working and learning to forgive her for so much, it hasn't been easy. At times like this it's a real wake up call, that no matter how nasty she is, she is still a beautiful soul inside who has been hurt much in this life.

I am waiting for the phone to ring....

... and good financial results - I am actually funds raising for the foundation "Children without Borders" (in Switzerland). As I have been appointed as president by the council... it would be my wish to do much good to kids through this charity, which enables those in social weak�families�to get free holidays in our country as guests of Hosting Families (which usually spoil these kids to make them feel loved - and they are so thankful each year...- lately an orphan asked his host if he could call him daddy, of course he could and now he is so proud to have a daddy somewhere - this and similar stories always are pushing us to go on and on again!)

Also for myself I need guidance... need to know whether I am on the right path in all belongings... I want to be completely of the Lord. I know he loves me but sometimes doubts arise - and I prefere not to have such doubts, but who is perfect? So just ask the Lord to show me clearly and repeatedly his will! This would be a great x-mas gift, as i feel inner peace becoming deeper and stable... I hope it's all good and fine !

My nephew was burnt recently with hot coffee, he has an appointment with a plastic surgeon today.� He's only 16 months old so I'm sure he's very scared.� Please pray for his mom and for my nephew to pull through this tough time.

I just received this prayer request from a new member of my group and I would like to ask everyone here to pray for this family.

My very BEST friend from nursing school, who is only 28 years old had brain surgery yesterday with a diagnosis of Metastatic brain disease and�the tumor was 3 cm and at stage 4. (Untreatable)� This stems from breast cancer that she had 3 yeas ago.� The doctors also found a spot on her lung!� Please....everyone....say a prayer for her.� She also has a 8 year old son and a husband that is WONDERFUL!� I personally know the power of prayer so if you all pray and everyone you talk to tell them to pray, because it is going to be only by GODS grace that she survives this!

I would like to thank all of those who prayed for me when I had to see the dentist two times.� Both visits went really well with no problem.� Had some pain for a day or so, but nothing I couldn't handle.� I know God was with me and watching over the doctor also.

I know would like you to please pray for everyone in the path of Hurricane Rita.� It is due to hit the southern part of Texas and will then go North, North east from there.� Where I live here in Texas, they are saying that we will get hit by Rita.� The only thing will depend on how hard.� If it does hit Southern Texas as a Category 4, then it will most likely be a Category 1 by the time it gets to us.� And if it is Category 3, then it should be a tropical storm by the time it gets here.� But that we are to expect a lot of wind and a lot of rain with major flooding in our area.� I live in a Mobile home, so I most likely will have to leave and go stay with my sister for a while till the storm passes us by, and pray that no serious damage happens to my home.� Last time we had a tropical storm come through here I did have minor damage to my home.� Lets hope it doesn't happen this time around.� My prayers are with all of you who are in any way in the way of Hurricane Rita.

Well we found out today that she does have cancer in her uterus.
I dont think the doctor has much hope for her to live very long.I dont know what im going to do.

She is really the only family I have.I have a crazy grandma and my dad well he is just lost without my mom to guide him and my brother is a invalid.

In an instant, three lives are ended by a traffic wreck Wednesday. Those left behind try to deal with the shock.

SPRING HILL - Today, Sandy Margotta and her son, Jim, would have been in Scranton, Pa., where they were born, visiting family, celebrating Aunt June's 70th birthday.

Sandy was excited about the trip, her husband, Michael, recalled. On Wednesday night, she and Jim, 18, should have been packing their suitcases.

But Sandy, a surgical secretary at Spring Hill Regional Hospital, never made it home.

She hadn't been gone long Wednesday afternoon, so Michael and Jim might not have realized something had happened if Sandy didn't always make a point of checking in when she went anywhere.

She didn't want people to worry.

Michael and Jim were worried.

They called 911. There had been a serious accident on State Road 50, they learned. It was only a few minutes away. They hopped in the truck, took Barclay Avenue to SR 50, and saw three Florida Highway Patrol cars in a gas station parking lot. The troopers were about to leave. Michael pulled his truck in front of their cars so they couldn't.

He asked them if they'd been to the accident. Yes. Was it a PT Cruiser? Yes. Blue and silver, the colors of Sandy's favorite hockey team, the Tampa Bay Lightning?

Yes.

Jim's legs gave way. Michael refused to believe it just yet.

"I kept grasping at straws, even though the evidence was obvious, trying to get them to say something to (indicate it wasn't) her," Michael, 57, said Thursday afternoon in the Tyringham Street home he had shared with his wife and son.

Michael pointed to a green and tan purse on the dining room table.

The trooper, Michael said, "came over with that purse, and that's when I knew. It's rather distinctive. She bought it on eBay."

Said Jim: "It's still full of broken glass."

Sandy Margotta was killed shortly after 4 p.m. Wednesday. A Mitsubishi Diamante crossed the SR 50 median near Sunshine Grove Road and smashed head-on into her westbound PT Cruiser.

She was alone in the car. Had she left the house just a little later, Jim would have been with her, he said, having gotten off work at the Publix supermarket at Barclay and Spring Hill Drive.

The two men in the Mitsubishi also died at the scene. The driver was identified Thursday as Marvin Lawson II, 24, of 3000 Barbados Ave. in Spring Hill. The FHP identified his passenger as Zacarias Garcia Jr., 18, of Homosassa.

Jerry Pugh, a witness to the accident, told the Times he believed the Mitsubishi was going fast, "maybe 70 mph," when it crossed the median for about 100 yards and plowed into the PT Cruiser. The FHP is investigating.

Hernando court records indicate Lawson had received several driving citations in recent years.

He was cited for careless driving in May 2001, and he received four speeding citations within the past two years. The most recent was in May , when he was cited for driving more than 15 mph over the speed limit.

Thursday afternoon, Lawson's sister, Linda, answered the door at the Spring Hill home of their father.

"We are so, so sorry for the family of the lady," said Linda Lawson.

"I just feel it's really important to say how loving and kind my brother is and that he would surely never hurt anybody," she said. "He's a very loving and kind person."

Jenna Rohr of Floral City is the mother of Marvin Lawson's 71/2-month-old daughter, Alexis. She said Marvin Lawson had been living with her for about 18 months.

Lawson and Zacarias Garcia, who went by "Zach," worked for her parents' cabinetry business in Brooksville.

"He'd just gotten back from a job in Hernando Beach and was going to put up some drywall for his dad," Rohr said, weeping. "All he wanted was to be a father."

Some of Sandy Margotta's friends joined Michael and Jim on Thursday afternoon to help them through their loss. Her dog, Zoey, who slept on Sandy's lap every evening, cried behind a closed bedroom door.

"She loved animals, and she loved babies," recalled Vikki Farrow, who wore a yellow Tampa Bay Lightning polo shirt. Farrow and her husband, Larry, had known Sandy for about 10 years.

"Anyone who knew Sandy just knew she was a loving, happy person," Larry Farrow said.

Michael Margotta used to work as a funeral director, he said, but he had gotten burned out on the business. His late father, James, also was a funeral director.

"I've dealt with a lot of families in the funeral business," Michael said Thursday. "And it's like my dad once said: Until you sit

I would like to request a prayer for my dog. I had her to the vets last week to take�care of a foot wound only to discover that the wound itself was part of the cancer that is moving through her body.� She is rapidly going downhill, but I intend to keep her alive as long as her quality of life is good. She now has to wear diapers, but�I don't mind caring for her.�She has to be carried up stairs now to go to bed or outside, but I'll gladly carry her. She is going blind, but I'll happily guide her safely. As long as she is still smiling and at peace I'll keep her at�my side.�I understand fully that we are all like waves on the ocean of a greater consciousness and that like those waves we will have our end. It is also my belief as it says in the Gita that na tu evaham jatu nasam na tvam neme janadhipah/ na caiva na bhavisyamah sarve vayam atah param//� Never was there a time when I did not exist, nor you, nor all these kings. Nor shall any of us cease to exist in the future.� So I know that what I'm losing is merely the form�that the soul that is my dog now occupies. That we will encounter each other again in some other time. So while my heart is sore I will let her go when it is time. What I'm asking is not for myself nor a miracle for her but rather that your prayers go to her that her last days on earth are easy and that she suffers as little as possible. She is by far one of the gentlest and sweetest souls it has been�my pleasure to have pass through my life and has more than earned a good death.

Kathryn.� I am praying for you.� I hate dentist to but I know we all have to go every now and then.� I myself have to go 2 times next week.� Having 2 teeth fillings done and they can only do one per day because of all the clients they have at the Dental clinic, so I go on Tuesday and again on Wednesday to have teeth fillings done and to have my partial denture fixed.� God will be watching out over you.
