Geez Baron! Your rules are quite difficult to follow. Can we make a proposition? To have another law easier to follow by fellow citizens? Cause I'm not sure it's a easy/simple rule to follow.
But that's just an opinion, Baron sir.
Twitch!
Well my dear hunnynuts [he he he], proposing to me now eh? Whatever will Mrs Baron say? tsk tsk.
So which part of the most difficult and very strict regime guidelines did you not understand sweet one? Eh? Eh? Come on, you're among friends here haaaaaaaaaaaaa haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa haaaaaaaaaaa

I have to be taskmaster here or else it will all get out of hand, that's why we must have rules, see, logic really he he

hi Christy,
Am "new" to the group and I admit, I don´t know whether I introduced myself... Anyways...There are things I feel I need to say and express sometimes...In other words, simply I´d like to say that I like your post so much: " YOU ARE NEVER FULLY DRESSED WITHOUT A SMILE!"...As I can´t do without some stuff to think...At times...
Sincerely, Mongi
smile make us alive. I am new in the group, i maybe introduce my self just a line...a simple filipina who married for a very nice american guy...
Have a nice day to all!!!

Life is a mixture of sunshine and rain,
Laughter and pleasure, teardrops and rain.
All days can't be bright but it's certainly true,
There was never a cloud the sun didn't shine through.
And you'll find when you smile your day will be brighter
And all your burdens will seem so much lighter.
For each time you smile you will find it's true
Somebody, somewhere, will smile back at you.
And nothing on earth can make life more worthwhile
Than the sunshine and warmth of a beautiful smile!

here is my smiles for our group. It is great here. Hi Monina. We meet again. Am I following you? LOL!!!
Hi Ron and all,
I'm kind of out of practice at smiling all day and that was one reason why I joined the group.....I need all the practice that I can get!
Doing it right now just reading all of replys. I will return as often as I can and begin learning again!
Thanks so much!!! ![]()
Thanks for inviting me to this group, I just wanted to say that even when I feel like crap, I force myself to smile, becuse I have noticed that suddenly I start feeling great. Smiles are the best antidepressant.

Good morning.....everyone...![]()
How much do you spend on cosmetics?....allot no doubt.
Well here's the cheapest way to improve your looks......................SMILE..
Read the following medication before an improvement will take place:
A woman walked into the kitchen to find her husband stalking around with a fly swatter, "What are you doing she asks"
"Hunting flies" was his response.
"Oh, killing any?" she asked
"Yep, 3 males and 2 females" was the reply.
Intrigued by this she says"How can you tell"
"Well", he said "3 were on the beer can, and 2 were on the phone"
............well there you have it...did it work?
I bet it did. ![]()
I'M SMILING. Thank you, Ron, for the invitation (OK, I'll enter myself properly in the Introductions) - Just wanted to tell a true story (yes, from Nepal, sorry, that sort of dominates things):
Some years ago, when I was here as a researcher and the going vis-a-vis the Nepali bureaucracy was tough, it was easy to get depressed. (Would I really have to give it all up and return to Norway? after all, I'd given up my job there...)And then I discovered a simple solution:
Walking down the street (in Kathmandu, where I was struggling with the bureaucrats) I'd just catch the eye of the first person in my vicinty, and SMILE. You won't believe the fantastically warm, vibrant smiles of spontaneous friendship and fellow-feeling that invariably came in return.
(And to those who wonder why I didn't use that strategy on the bureaucrats: Oh, I did. They were always polite and even friendly, getting out the tea as soon as they saw me coming. But rules were rules...)

Never a truer word spoken, sums up reasons why the premise of this group was originally born.
[Just joining us here?] Smiling works! Don't believe us, try it out tomorrow, no, do it today.... Susila has first hand evidence, thanks again Susila
.
I like the bit "getting out the tea as soon as they see you coming..." that's me to a tee[a] he he" and my wife. We're both of Northern English descent and it's a fact, in Britain, Northerners are usually more friendly than those in the South but I thinks it's more about attitude than anything else. I was born and bred in the South [just made in the north he he] but we always have time for people, even those whose misery is contagious, we have the antidote, SMILING;

Gorilla walks into a bar and orders a beer.
The bartender, figuring the gorilla won't know the difference, says "that'll be 10 bucks."
Gorilla grumbles a bit and throws a $10.00 bill on the bar.
Bartender says "you know, we don't get many talking gorillas in here."
Gorilla says "I guess not at 10 bucks a beer."
SMILING
I passed around the corner,
When he smiled I realized,
I'd passed it on to him.
I thought about that smile,
So, if you feel a smile begin,
don't leave it undetected.
and get the world infected!

I have read about how frowning takes more muscles than smiling. What that means to me is that it's good to do high reps on smiles, and low reps on frowns.

Nice Rules. Haven't officially joined yet. Don't have a lot of time for the web. They don't have enough phone lines at home, but your rules are pretty awesome. ![]()
This is great... the rules made me smile and laugh...this will be fun....thanks for having this group...just a thought...try to do something nice for at least 1 person you meet today...I do that myself and sometimes it leads to a most wonderful short conversation! Take care All!!!
trying to type from chilly Michigan...it's about 40 degrees (F) here today...brr for Spring, but I love it ![]()
So ...I am going to smile all day since Ron is a tyrant and forces us to obey these awful rules
and I will report in later with the results.
OK, I'm using 'lame' smiles like,
so here are some of my favorite 'cool' ones:

Geez Ron, I thought this group was going to be free-spirited without all these rules and stuff. Does grinning count?
What about like a Mona-Lisa-kinda smile but not?
What if our smile turns into laughter??
I mean come on.....that's why I hate rules! They are so ambiguos. Great, now I'll be awake all night analyzing this!
What about that fake "cheese" smile folks make for pictures??
What if we are so happy we cry??
Could you be a little more specific here?? I'm not sure I fully understand the rules.![]()
Radonda
Looks like it's back to the training camp then with sunshine, sand and sea and a plethora of hunky men and pretty ladies waiting on you, and singers filling the air with goodness and light;
And then if that hasn't worked, it's three week stint in a jungle, man, I'll teach ya to smile even if it.....![]()
YAY!! Singers you say?? and hunky men and lovely ladies??? Hmmm..........if I promise to frown and pout will I get extra special treatment till I smile???
WOW! All I wanted was clarification.....I mean "SMILE" is really ambigious...there are so many ways to do it! What if I keep a deadpan face, but smile with my eyes does THAT count?? All these rules!! And a training camp??? That's it I give up!...or, well, wait..will there be chocolate at this training camp?
Good Rules
thank-you for the invite Ron....![]()
I had to snag this on the way down...

I feel most morning my Sons are doing this to me. ![]()
Thank you so much for the invite Ron. So often, in the past, I wore a frown. Today I love to smile. Smiling makes me feel better, when things aren't going so well. Being able to share a smile, makes me smile even more. I promise to do my absolute best to follow the "group rules." If I mess up once in a while, I'll just sit back & laugh. I pray that God will bless you for starting up a group that benefits each & every person that joins.
Thanks,
Christine D.
Thank you for the invite this looks like a wonderful group of funny and smile addicting peeps I like that.......![]()
