Much of the recent improvements which have been made are a result of new members expressing some confusion when entering the site.
This new format, the FAQ's, the welcome for new members, even the form of the list are all results of previous suggestions, and we thank you for that.
If you see something that you feel could be better, this is the place to express it. All positive ideas will be considered seriously. If you are a member here, then this is your site too. We want to hear from you. We welcome your opinions. Don't be shy.
For us people who are spiritually minded, it is understood that human beings are the only animal that can conjecture thought, goals and aims...and hence the reason for our existence-to provide a way for all animals to have access to evolutionary growth, physically, mentally and spiritually.
We all need as many people as possible to think positively and to pass that thought process, sincerely, on to their animal friends, in their lives to all others and to reach out to all the less fortunate who don't have a good outlook on life, such as so many political and corporate entities who just can't help but continue to kill animals and make wars, for starters.
We think that, from now on, it is TIME for human beings to include even just a tad of space to vegan spirituality while you are at work. And during your personal time it is mandatory, paramount, absolutely necessary that each human capable of understanding this message of thinking positively, each must provide a sincere amount of personal time to the uniqueness of the human condition, and then pass the word on to others in every stage of development of experience.
We think it's time to discuss the Reality behind Spirituality.

I believe that every Person in the World, as well as ALL people in the United States, including our resource sources, corporations, churches, hospitals...all entities, should have, add, or should create a vegan spirituality dash of light to their policies, advertising, outlines and in all ways, including capitalistic and other products offerings. We, in turn, can give that touch of enlightened comfort to all our animals, be they lamb, tiger, fish, insect or somewhere else in the animal kind-doms.
The same must go for our governmental representatives, too. So don't think we are just coming to fantastic Unlocking Reality members and then leaving you all to fend on your own. This morning all Democratic Senators and Governors have begun to be reached. As we near the end of August, all party representatives and a few newspapers, magazines and so forth will have been initially contacted.

If you have any questions about why or what individual members do or do not do I suggest you ask them directly – as anyone else who comments will only be speculating.

Care2 Feedback and Suggestions on that site you can ask questions directly and also help to co-create (through making sugestions) what goes on here – they are very nice and helpful people over there
didn't we used to have a thread with just the names of those who have read UR posted up? I think it would be nice to have a list now of who has read it

My dear friends, I apologize if this is not the correct place for this post. I have been #62 on the list to read UR for such a very long time. Is there any chance that I will ever get to see the manuscript? I was a teacher for 35 years and have a great respect for manuscripts of any kind. If someone trusted me enough to let me read UR, I would take the best of care and return it promptly after reading it.

For a time there was no book, but the group continued to grow and eventually Dscape joined us. She had a copy and developed a unique way to share it.
My point here is that UR is what it is. At the moment it is not released yet. The manuscripts which were provided are still a preview, and we must be patient. My copy is being passed around friends, as I know many others are. We`are all doing our best.
Many who have had to wait have said it really is worth the wait once they read it.
There will come a time, soon no doubt, when UR will be as close as your nearest bookshop or library, and in a way, on that day, this special expereince we are having will reach a new chapter, and the door will close on this one. Those of us who knew about it before its release will become a finite number. Rather than be sad that you have not read it yet, why not be happy to be among them that knew about it first. I know I am, and I love the friends I have made in the process.
Till then, I would suggest you do as we have done up to now. If you want to read it, then post mesages saying so, and someone like Dscape, with a copy will come along.
There is some good news for you regarding the list! It is now moving & we have found that some people on the list have read UR through other means or cannot be contacted/found so will not be taken up there place on it. These two factors together means you should get your turn sooner then your number on the list would indicate
I also put together a short list of other alternatives (link below) – offers made by kind members – that you might try also. I am sorry for you wait, but I’m sure your patients will be rewarded and that you will enjoy the experience all the more for it
what about the new guys? - how do we read it?I did not intend for my post to sound like I was whining or expected some priority treatment. I was simply asking a question. I do treasure the time spent and the friends made on the group and I expect to patiently wait my turn like everyone else.

I would suggest updating a couple of your threads as some of the links you provide are no longer available. Also, much of it is dated in 2005 which states there will be forthcoming updates in 2006, which leaves the reader (at least, me, lol) wondering if those things happened or not.

I had a question? I hope that this is not taken in offense; as I AM the Queen of Questions. So, I appologize if it appears rude, because that is not my intentions. There are some "sacred texts" out there that I have not read before, but for the most part, it is quite easy to obtain a copy! The bible is or was the #1 selling book, and it said in there that many will read it, but few will understand! "The Great Mystery of Babylon".
I was just curious why this "Text" is so hard to get a hold of! Is there only a sacred few who are allowed access to them? ect....

The Unlock Reality book has not been released yet. As a experiment, IDST who
inherited it decided to leave a few copies on park benches with Bookcrossing
stickers on them, so they could get some feedback.

The manuscripts started being passed round, and these groups started, like this one. We campaigned to have manuscripts released cause we were asking the same questions as you. ISDT released 7,000 which sold out in 6 days.
They have said plans are underway to publish it worldwide soon, but these things do take time it would seem.
Normally only a small handful of people know about a book before it comes out, but due to the BookCrossing release loads of us found out about it before it being published and have had fun passing it round the world.
Sorry to those who are familiar with all this. It is easy to forget that we have gone a long way since 18 of us formed this group and created the first round robin.

I realize that UR is about enlightenment and we certainly wish our world leaders could read the book and find enlightenment about a lot of things but do we really have to read political threads like this in this group? I mean, R E A L L Y?
Can't you all just start a group called "Europeans who think America Sucks" group and discuss all of this there?
I suppose there is a fine line between what is related and what is not. My vote is that threads related to ousting any political leader are inappropriate. Aren't there special interest groups that do that?
If I want to read about how my government is in the toilet, there are lots of places I can turn to for that. I choose to come to the UR group for more positive information.
Let's talk about how to spread enlightenment not how to get rid of a president. That sounds a lot more on topic to me.

Care2 Code of ConductThis is a UR site and UR is a book that covers a massive spectrum of subjects – surprising for a book of only 122 pages. Unlike a lot of books that people place in the same genera, UR does not just focus on techniques for the individual – though they are in there – it also address politics, history, science and the future (to name a few).
I have often thought that it has been embraced as a useful and enlightening book because it addresses several relevant issue surrounding – ones personal journey – IMO UR's holistic approach avoids some of the pit falls of some of the older and more narrowly focused books out there.
Sooooo – ‘Impeach Bush’ topics are not off topic here, if we are going to have a better inner life, we will need to sort out the ‘outer ones’ as well, nothing exists in isolation…

The vast majority of this group is not European and you will find that as a consequence the vast majority of those who start/contribute to all the topics here – including the ones you highlight – are not European.

It causes me to avoid visiting because there is a lot of negativity about my country and my country's government here that is not helpful or solution oriented. The funny thing is, I share many of the views expressed but it is HOW they are expressed which gets really old, really quick.
So, thanks for the response. I really do appreciate it but I am probably going to be an infrequent participant here until there is a topic that inspires me in a positive way or until I feel an urge to start a thread.
There are enlightenement groups on Care2 who don't allow political witch hunts. I'd rather spend my time there than here, wading through cloddish political conversations before I can find something of greater substance.

Now I notice we have over 3000 Members which I must say is very impressive. Now I dont you dont mind me asking here but has anyone got any suggestions for some new threads? For example the lovely Elizabeth has put some of her wonderful poetry on here, but I was wondering whether you would welcome a poetry thread where you could either post some of your own or perhaps some of your favourite poetry?
Or maybeyou would like a sport thread?ie funny stories or memorable ones about any sporting activity you enjoy) Anyway please if you have any suggestions for new threads perhaps post them here or contact me via the link on the main page of UR or if you simply want to start a new topic please go ahead.

Hello, dear Suggestion Box.
I just added a little post to Alphabet Game V, and I thought that it would be lots easier to keep up with if the date order were reversed to Most Recent First. Of course that would deny new readers the joy of all of the wonderful words there, but it would be oh-so-much-easier for those of us who track and contribute to it. Perhaps the Most Recent First order could be applied to other ongoing games. ¿Qien sabe?
