Hello groupers, Glad to find a scuba group, divers are typically filled with care so no surprise to care/ squared. I am a video editor. With HD cameras we are shooting coral ecosystems. If reef damage continues our works could be the best shoots available, so we're trying to capture the beauty found only in living corals and the fish who live there. Care2 Share too, Paul

It's been awhile but have experience with both boat and beach entry diving. I prefer beach entry cause my ears are sensitive and that gives them more time to equalize.
I really love snorkeling in warm shallow and clear water like Hawaii and you don't need much equipment either.
Here in california best diving is in Monteray Bay, where I was cerified and there is alot of sealife or in Catalina Island is nice too. We have sharks here but am only afraid while at the top swimming never down during dive do I worry.
I think diving or breathing underwater is how it must be like to fly or float in another world. At least that is what I'm thinking while I am diving. Zahra
I just joined after finding the group on Pedro B.'s profile. I am certified NAUI and PADI, but haven't been diving in years. I am looking forward to a refresher course and then getting out there again!!!!

Hi fellow buddies,
Just joined this group - found it on JeanLuc's profile...
I am a PADI OWSI Instructor living in Singapore, South East Asia. Picked up diving in Indonesia a couple of years ago and got hooked soon. After some technical (TDI) dive training to learn some new skills, I think for next year, I would like to focus on UW photography.Still need to get a good camera and strobe system.Last year, I bought a cheap digital UW camera and enjoyed taking home some memories from my leisure dives very much.
Please feel free to check out the following photochains and add your pics:
Thanks for the hello, I moved from Florida 6 years ago to minnesota. I have missed the ocean and can't wait till I move back. Hope to meet others and become friends.

before i join scuba diving,i din know how to swim nor snorkel.i got really nervous everytime i was in the water. my diving instructer has to give me encouragements all the time. now, i haven't scuba for 4 months, already i missed the underwater moments.if you know how to swim, i dun think scuba diving is difficult for you. just try
Thanks for the info. It doesn't seem like it would be so terribly difficult, but I've heard many people make it out to be that way. I will definitely look into it.
Hi Stephanie and welcome to our group.. I want you to know that scuba diving is more easy than snorkling, speacilly by breathing.. when u take the course there will be the pool dive in first that you get use on the scuba gear.. but belive me it is the most beatifull and peacfull sport.. you will enjoy it too much..
I would like to Dive... September 04, 2004 6:39 AM
I will be moving soon to a place very near the water, and I would love to take up Scuba Diving as a hobby. I have snorkeled before, but that's about as deep as it gets.
I'm still not completely comfortable breathing underwater, as a swimmer might do. This issue didn't bother me when I was snorkeling (with my face in the water), and I was wondering if it would be much of an issue in Scuba Diving?
Does anybody have any tips or advice for a beginning scuba diver? Anything you could offer would be greatly received!
hello!i took up scuba diving just recently and i din regret at all.exploring the undersea world is an eye opener for me.the sea has many beautiful treasures such as the colorful fishes and the corals.

Hi,
I have been searching for groups to join and was glad to find your group.
A little about myself, I have been diving for 7 years (since 1997), earned my PADI Divemaster #177811 certification in 2001. I have been too busy to be one for awhile, but I have kept my cert. current and keep physically fit. I also just earned a certification in June the made me even MORE confident in water than ever, I just earned my American Red Cross Lifeguard Cert. I learned even more ways to rescue people that were not discussed in Rescue Diver. Any of you are pro divers like me would greatly benefit from taking this class. I even learned the AED. Hope to become your friends soon!
