Even trying to advance in the world today have its drawbacks which leads to Chemicals hurting us. Please share what you know here.  [ send green star]

Well, I don't think all advances in the world have to be chemical in nature.  I know there are some excellent companies that are really trying to keep our lives all organic, no chemicals; or all natural energy, such as solar, wind, wave, etc.

But we have a long ways to go to get them all to look into the natural world created for us to take care of and use.  The best we, the consumers, can do to keep up our end of the sustainability factor, is to recycle and conserve energy, water and air, and DEMAND that corporations follow our lead in trying not to destroy our planet.

My thought are on the medical companies October 21, 2006 4:01 PM

As a nurse i found myself in conflict on many occasions esp within the elderly services within our supposed wonderfull national health service or rather in our private companies hiding under the banner of national-

we know old people functioning deteriates but some of the harmfull medications we thrust into them appear to disable them further and in some cases- create other illnesses.many times it is without their consent or willingness, sometimes to the point of a violent rejection. however this is not veiwed as the patient executing a choice but the patient being unco-oparetive and needing other interventions such a physical restraint! there are laws governing the use of physical interventions but in many cases the people who monitor this do not get to find out as the staff will be sacked and not recieve a fair refference. i have fallen into this catogory. to be honest i am tired of the fight of patient based care. the types of medications are ussually prescribed to sedate- as there are not enough staff to care for them as we would expect out mothers and father to be cared for but many of the sedatory drugs have side effects that young people can manage but older peoples are more sensitive-

id advise anyone putting their family memeber into care get a contract drawn up prior to them being recieved into care ,as once they are in care the care home will be responsable- therefore have the final say...... it doese look nice seeing a prosthetic home with all the people sat in chairs all serene looking.but it is the last of days for our family and surley they deserve to have experiences especially with retirement age going up all the time.

love n peace

Last Days of Health Freedom October 23, 2006 11:38 AM

You might like to watch this video doc we posted in our LiveJournal

It's well worth time it takes to watch it and gives much to think about, especially with elections coming up in a couple of weeks!

Share it with your friends also, the more people that can be aware of what's going on, the better we all are.
