prayers for homeless too
We pray for homeless children, that they will find a safe home. Please pray for our own children, that they will someday have a safe home in Heaven. pray for my own children
Homeless in the USA. this is unthinkable. We spend billions of dollars on endless wars while the citizens of our own country go hungry and homeless.
Do our representatives in Washington just close their eyes to the plight of our people? How do they sleep at night?
There needs to be such an outcry from each of us that it echos in the halls of Congress. There is a saying, "Evil triumphs when good men do nothing"
In MI where I live the unemployment rate is the highest in the nation and there are folks losing their homes on most every street. It is so sad and yet it seems no one is trying to help. Someone must come up with an answer and soon.

"...Foxes have dens and birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to rest his head." Jesus in Matthew 8:20
A kind word, a smile, or a couple of dollars is not too much to ask of those of us who are so blessed. As we travel about the gritty streets, may our gaze never stray to far from the poor in our midst. Mother Teresa says, "the poor can be great teachers."
For those sleeping under bridges, on park benches, in doorways or bus stations.
For those who can only find shelter for the night but must wander in the daytime.
For families broken because they could not afford to pay the rent.
For those who have no relatives or friends who can take them in.
For those who have no place to keep possessions that remind them who they are.
For those who are afraid and hopeless.
For those who have been betrayed by our social safety net.
For all these people, i pray that you will provide shelter, security and hope.
I light my candle in hope for all homeless people. http://th240.photobucket.com/albums/ff320/ladypoet50/candles/th_rockoncandleshinesbright.gif cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.">http://th239.photobucket.com/albums/ff7/mucenica/th_GODBLESSYOU.gif cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.">
Pray for their safety.
May you enjoy abundance, love, a warm heart and a warm home.

Last Sunday, I went to the Santa Monica mall which is closing for renovation at the end of the month. It is a block or so from the ocean. As I drove along PCH, I noticed all of the homeless living in Pacific Palisades Park. It was heartbreaking to see people, clearly, with no place else to go.
I too am so appreciative that you and others out there have such a great heart and are willing to think of others first before yourself. That means not only a great deal to the homeless but to others who are having a hard time. I pray that they will be able to see their mistakes and learn from them so that they won't do them again and won't be homeless. I also pray that our government will have mercy and compassion for them and learn from their own mistakes so we can solve this growing problem and not want to do this again. I pray that the Lord will be with us all in helping the less fortunate and helping educate them and us to things that we aren't normally open to because of our sinful ways of thinking and being. I pray that we will see the truth and learn from it. I pray that God have mercy on us all.
With deep and sincere love,
PRAYING FOR THE HOMELESS.
HAVE JUST LITTED ANOTHER CANDLE FOR THE DAY OF TODAY.
MAY GOD LOOK OVER ALL THOSE POOR PEOPLE, WHO LIVE IN BELOW POOR CONDITIONS, THAT NEED A ROOF ON TOP OF THEIR HEADS, THAT ARE GOOD PEOPLE, WORKERS, AND DO NOT GET A CHANCE FOR A HOME, A DECENT HOME.
GOD, PLEASE LOOK OVER THESE PEOPLE ! GIVE THEM A GOOD DAY AND A CHANCE TO IMPROVE THEIR LIVING CONDITIONS. I TRUST ON YOU MY DEAR LORD. THANKS DEAR LORD !
May God grant you comfort, cool from the summer heat, warmth from the winter chill and a welcoming front door to a home to call your own.
Kristi, I join you and Louis in praying for the homeless (well, I always pray for them) and also light a candle specially for them. Thanks for this so kind tought!
Yours is a beautiful thought. You have a beautiful heart. How wonderful!
