This group is meant for people who would like to share and discuss old and new ideas of how to make the world a better place. Anyone who has an idea is welcome to open a new discussion thread for it. Once a week I will post in "The Full List of Tips thread" a summary of the week's new ideas and tips. These summaries will be uploaded to my homepage at http://www.geocities.com/luke_the_rose/1001tips.htm so that surfers outside Care2Connect will have the option of reading and using these tips to make our world a better place. Social threads are allowed and welcome, according to the rules of conduct.  [ send green star]

It's a GREAT idea! I did try the 2 links on the one post that says full list, and then the link in the one here and the first 2 I get nothing, and this one I get it saying what it is, but no list. Maybe something's up with the sites? But, whatever it is, I'm sure it will get figured out. As soon as I find the list, I'll see what I can add. I've got an idea. Why doesn't everyone stop discriminating against everyone else! No matter their species! Every one of us have to eat, sleep and breathe to live ... so why can't we all just live together as equals ... whether your a man, a mouse, or anywhere in between?  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

The "Full Tips List" have been updated.

I want to make it clear that the idea of the groups is to reach the 1001 tips together.

The notion behind this group is to create a wide discussion and come to new grassroots solutions for a better world that we can all do in our everyday life.

Feel free to bring up more ideas and suggestions.

i still get a 'page not found' for both links to tips homepage.
maybe because i use firefox and not ie or netscape?

wanted to add to tips page regarding plastic--disposible diapers very bad;
bread wrapper bags we reuse to store ice cubes in freezer for parties, sandwich bags for brown bagging instead of buying the boxed ones, so many uses for them.

i am thinking that is the problem. unfortuntly i have had such problems with internet explorer and netscape that i have gone exclusivly with firefox. but its ok. i can keep updated from here until i find away around it.

My name is Erin. I am new to this group. I am in High School in Ohio. I'm still pretty new to c2c, but love the thought behind it. Im a vegan and very proud of it. I am a "tree hugger," also proud of it. I am going to school for theatre and environmental chemistry. Just wanted to say hi.

Hello, everyone,

I just found this list, and was excited by the idea of learning and implementing more ideas for sustainable, economical living. But, it looks like most of the posts are from a couple years ago.

Are people still reading this?  Is there a more recent site where the master list is updated? (1001greentips.blogspot.com has 24 great tips, but not yet close to 1001.)
