I write new age poetry & songs. If I am able to share what do I do just start a thread?

I try to make my creations universal so that anyone can feel what I am sending out. Creating these works are very Spiritual to me & they are not edited or controled by an editor.

I think it's important to let yourself go and to just be who you are without fear. I believe this happens when I write lyrics and create. I am going into my most deepest but also personal feelings & thoughts.

While I have no music to go along with my Creations yet. The music is very much alive inside my head.

The only cd I have that's classified as 'New Age' is Mike Oldfield's Tubular Bells - so this will be a learning curve for me

Fav "New Age" group/artist: ENYA...followed closely by Clannad and Dead Can Dance (I believe they classify as new age but I may be wrong!)... also Vangelis (Chariots of fire...oh my!!!) and Yanni whom is a mixture of Classical, Techno and New Age??? He plays beautiful music anyways....lol!

  Well I am not very good at posting this kind of stuff. But I'll give it a try.. My name is Gale and I am a New Age Recording Artist.

My Favorite Artist? Well, besides myself would be my inspiration and friend "Carol Nethen West". She is good people and one heck of an Artist.

Explain New Age Music is not easy because, there are over 23 sub-categories from Mood, Ambient, Easy Listening, etc... I will say this. New Age Music is the type of melodies that change within a song to bring fresh visions to the listerner.

I'll try to stay on top of this group.. Thanks everyone.

Well, my name is Luigi. My fav New Age artists? Very long list, so I name only some of them. Eno, Vangelis, Jarre, Kitaro, Era, Enigma, Schultze, Liquid Mind, Oldfield, Marcomé etc. I really love all of them, because each has own style, creativity and sound.
The third question is not easy to answer. In my opinion New Age music is a particular way to express something of spiritual and mystic you want to communicate through the music. I think that it's easier trying to define the varous New Age subgenres (for instance Light Ambient, Dark Ambient, Ethereal, Atmospheric etc.)
