This group is designed to be a bridge for people that want to discuss making changes so that we may resolve the problems of the world. The bridge here is over the river of discussion. On one side of the Bridge is Discovery, Discussion and Decision. On the far side of the Bridge is a Forest. We call it Forest Across America but it can be any garden or forest, anywhere on Earth, and it is a forest only because it grows. Think of it like this: Each tree, every plant, all the critters, bugs, and pests and vermin,... EACH ONE IS DIFFERENT. Just as in Care2 there are millions of members,.... and,... EACH ONE IS DIFFERENT. In a forest each tree and plant does it's own part of being part of a forest. Each grows at its own speed, its own shape, and has its own space. While being an individual, each is an important part of the forest. Each contributes, good or bad,... without the others,... it is not a forest. Only by the individual sharing the effort of growth with the others has any chance of being part of the forest. This forest at the far side of the bridge is active, alive, growing while the individual plants and critters come and go, it is the collective effort that makes it a forest. So too at Care2. Each individual is different from the rest,... yet as a group we are capable of making a difference, healing the world, creating communities, sharing the effort, in our own way. We shall start here, discussing near any subject you like. This is an open group so there may be young members here and so we may do a lot of editing. There will also be people that have sensitive feelings,... and we will not allow any hazing or insults or other behavior that may make the discussion personal as compared to public. We wont be to tough on this,... but we will be tough on this,... so keep it clean everybody. The topics are subject specific so if your post does not fit,... we will likely contact you and suggest where you should be posting your message,... and will just as likely delete unrelated messages. We are here to discuss issues of interest, and when we are done with discussing and ready to cross that bridge, we move the discussion to Forest Across America where we will be much more focused. Forest Across America is an action site where those that are ready to take action to resolve the problems of the world, can meet, can plan and can expect others there to participate with them to resolve the problems they find important.
