Friday March 9, 2007, 8:25 pm At Making A Difference Now (MADNow) (A group here at Care2) we are seeking people that are willing to be board members for our activities to improve life on Earth. As compared to 'Emergency Services'. With human support,... (human support is easily turned into financial support), we can do full rescue services.
This would include everything from quick money to solve a problem,...
"THE EASIEST SOLUTION TO NEARLY EVERY PROBLEM I HAVE EVER HAD,... IS TO GO OUT AND MAKE SOME MONEY"
But our real intent is to develop 'community' among people that would normally not meet or make friends.
Care2 has provided a wonderful forum for people to meet and make friends,... and some are actually doing that. However,... not enough people are making friends, and working projects together to respond immediatly to a disaster such as Katrina.
At MADNow we are trying to find the kind of people that would like to organize to be able to respond to any condition of need for any type of person, animal or environment.
So with Katrina as an example,... if MADNow were organized at that time,... We could have sent in hundreds of thousands of individual efforts to respond to various needs.
Each volunteer would have plenty of living space to take in 20 to 30 'families' >each. While at the same time individual well practiced teams would be cleaning up, tearing down and rebuilding their homes and communities and because everything is being done by volunteers that love helping others,... there are few actual costs.
How would we get and keep all these volunteers? How would they get all the practice?
We would go to areas that are in environmental need, like missing forests where they have been logged or burned (forest fires), deserts, or other places where there is an absense of life,....
We would nuture the soil and plant food for the volunteers, plant forests for future lumber needs, practice building environmentally friendly houses fast to provide homes for the volunteers, and help each individual volunteer to develop their life to a condition of success based on their own description of success.
This way the volunteers have the very best living conditions for themselves, their families, their friends, their mechanics - lawyers - doctors,... everything they need and most of what they want will be provided by the other volunteers and the community they create.
So we go into a desolate area,... bring it to life,... and provide it to our friends as we go to another area and plant it, build it and that gives us a lot of experience when responding to an emergency,... whether a personal emergency or a rescue mission after a natural disaster.
Working with volunteers there are few costs in money. There is no question that the costs of time and effort are well worth it to the volunteers and their families and even their friends.
The work of the volunteers generates extreme money. The money will be used to buy what we need till we grow or make what we need our selves.
After that,... the money will be used to provide items that only the most wealthy can afford, like planes, cruise ships, and other luxuries that the volunteers cannot normally afford on their own.
Beyond that,... the money will just pile up,... money has little value to those that have good friends and live in great communities.
Most people work long hard hours to pay corporations to take their wealth.
The project providing everything,... we will not need to pay corporations to keep us poor.
Anyone wanting to break away from the project will have access to the project resources to develop nearly any lifestyle they can imagine on the outside.
Everybody wins.
First though,... we need some leadership quality volunteers to organize the volunteers we find along the way.
