Naysa-after horrible abuse! She was dragged with a barb wire halter--shot in the face and run over with the trailer-which he left on top of her!

I am writing in regard the Louisiana Mare Naysa, who has been beaten, run over, tortured and shot by the inhumane, violent man who purchased her for thirty five dollars and planned to sell her for one hundred dollars. Naysa spent 7 days in intensive care, and somehow through the strength of her own will to survive Naysa is alive. Her full physical recovery will take many months, and much time, love and gentleness will be needed to restore her trust.
For all the pain, physical and emotional damage this strong spirited little mare has suffered it is imperative that the brutal, malicious person who committed this unthinkable crime be charged to the maximum extent of the law.
Anything less is unacceptable. This man's ultimate intent was to take Naysa's life, had this little mare not been so determined in her fight for life he would have achieved his goal of killing her.

Naysa has become an inspiration to many who have heard her tragic story and all expect the authorities to impose the maximum sentencing to the extremely inhumane man who bestowed this extreme cruelty and torture upon Naysa.
I urge you to hear the voice of the people. Should this not convince you that this man must receive maximum sentencing-Then take just one soul searching look into the eye's of this mare and I believe your heart and compassion will lead you to do what should need no second thought ,bring some closure and justice to Naysa's tragic story of suffering by punishing this man for his murderous intent to the maximum extent possible by law.
I thank you kindly for your time and have great faith you will do what is in the best intrest of justice on behalf of Naysa.
Sincerely,
