Sunday July 1, 2007, 7:55 am I can see the anger in those that post here,... and I mean no offense,... but I have been begging for help with the Forest Across America Project for over 2 years and the project would have done a few things to prevent this problem. 1 We would have obtained property and prepared it for taking in these animals when we discovered them. 2 We would likely have found this place almost as soon as they took in the first animals,... because finding land to obtain is done by looking at properties side by side and we would have had a FAAP rep look at the property and discover the problem. 3 Instead of viewing these people as 'bad people' we would have made friends with them,... helped them handle the overload of animals they have taken in. 4 It just seems to me that these people took in animals that would likely have been killed,... and were overtaken by the task, likely very caring people that did not know what to do,... maybe not,... but how does one gather soooo many animals? 5 Care2 with 7,000,000 members did not have even one person out scouting the land for places to care for the animals,... or they would have been found. 6 Isn't it time to help with the Forest Across America Project so we can find and help more animals without any of us being overwhelmed by the task? 7 Ok,... hate me,... but help me save the animals,... nobody else seems willing.
