Children and animals found in 'extremely unlivable' conditions

One woman was arrested Friday night in connection with the abuse of a 2 month old puppy from Henderson County that was sick with parvo and left in sub-freezing temperatures.

Authorities say an arrest warrant was issued in the case for 34-year-old Wendy Cobb.

The dog that was found earlier in the week was named "Miracle" and taken to the vet, but later died. The humane society filed a cruelty charge Friday in the case.

Henderson County Sheriff's Office is still investigation the case.

I just noticed Leslie write there this poor puppy died today . My eyes are loaded with tears . Omg if I could I will tied up this person who is responsible for this poor puppies death and let him die in freezing weather !!! I don't understand why some people are so cruel ???!!! Sick world !!

I am in tears...   Sometimes it is very hard to continually bare so much bad news, however, even in despair it motivates me to fight even harder for these beautiful souls...

Update 1/3/13: The veterinary clinic has just announced that Miracle did not survive.

    RIP "Miracle"...    I feel as though we humans somehow failed you..
