Thank You, Mark. We have to keep fighting for this. I do not want to eat horses. These poor animals were meant to ride and feel free. I read an article that said Taco Bell and Burger King were using this meat. I would LOVE the truth. Everyone please sign this and the others' Keep up the great work.
Thanks Leslie, again I missed a couple. I think I am going to be eating more veggies. I really can't believe what people will do to save money. That's a real shame.

This makes me so sick. I read the other day that Taco Bell and others were using horse meat. I signed all that and more. I will never eat at those places again. This is against everything I believe in. Please help with these. Never give up. We will stop this if we stick together. Thanks Mark and Leslie, you are GREAT!! Thank God for you both. :}
Gladly signed petition w/comments! Thanks Leslie
Feb. 25 is Animal Lobby Day, a day for us to gather together and show our support for tightening up the New Mexico animal cruelty laws.
You can personally lobby our local legislators, Rep. Roberto “Bobby” Gonzales and Sen. Carlos Cisneros. Tell our elected officials we are not going to tolerate the neglect and abuse of our animals, which resulted in receiving that pitiful ranking of the best state to get away with abusing animals.

“New Mexico’s animal cruelty laws don’t cut it. Help us change them in 2013!”
We, the undersigned residents of New Mexico want stronger state animal cruelty laws. Animal cruelty is unacceptable on its own, but is also linked to other violent and destructive conduct in our communities, such as family violence. Current state laws provide too many loopholes for abusers to escape accountability.
