We had several Men run under the names of such odd polical Parties such as "Pro-Nebraska Democratis Party" and actually won.

"Pro-Nebraska Democratis Party" Thomas Dyer  March 10, 1856;Term of office: 1856-1857

"Independant Democratic Party" Alson Sherman April 2, 1844; Term of office: 1844-1845

"Independant Democratic Party" James Hutchinson Woodworth 1st term: March 7, 1848; 2nd term: March 6, 1849-1st term: 1848-1849; 2nd term: 1849-1850

"No Party" Levi Day Boone March 8, 1855;Term of office: 1855-1856

"unknown"  Edward FitzSimmons Dunne 1905; Term of office: 1905-1907

"Peoples Party" Harvey Doolittle Colvin November 4, 1873; Term of office: 1873-1875

"Citizens Party" Roswell B. Mason  November 2, 1869; Term of office: 1869-1871 [The Chicago Fire occurred while Mason was mayor, October 8-10, 1871]

"Fireproof Party" Joseph Medill November 7, 1871; Term of office: 1871-1873
