Aid Workers Stories Wanted!...
I have started a new group called "Aid Workers International Support Group" on the Care2.com site (http://www.care2.com/c2c/group/AidWorkersSupportGroup), to collect inspiring stories from those who have been out in this world working to help others. I have begun my own small aid organization and I want to hear from others who have already done this kind of work of helping those who are struggling the most. Whether from disasters, poverty, or whatever the cause, if you have helped this to be a slightly better world, we would love to hear your story. My organization is called "Jim's Projects" (www.jimsprojects.org), and with my new online Care2.com group I desire to collect as many stories of hope, compassion, and acts of kindness as I can gather into one site. If you or anyone you know can help get this off to a good start, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks. Jim W.
PRISON MINISTRY IN BAHRAIN
Hi there Each week for over a year now a group of 4 or 5 volunteers have visited the ladies prison each Thursday morning to care for their spiritual and physical needs. Lives that were previously without hope or an assurance that they are loved have been changed and so have the hearts of those who are in charge. In giving of ourselves we receive back in abundance. So true!!! Sue Hughes Prison Ministry Co-ordinator
