Every day on the Indonesian island of Sumatra, huge swaths of rain forest are cleared for timber and replaced with pulpwood, rubber and oil palm plantations.
One special landscape has survived the destruction. But it is now under threat. We need your help to save 30 Hills.
The Sumatran area of 30 Hills is one of the last safe refuges for critically endangered Sumatran elephants, tigers and orangutans. Moreover, Sumatra is only place on Earth where these important species coexist.
Yet, Sumatra's forests are being cut down at one of the fastest rates in the world. In fact, half are already gone.
But we can change that. There is a chance to protect elephant, tiger and orangutan habitat in Sumatra and the time is now. I hope you will join me and WWF in our campaign to save 30 Hills.
Together we can help defend the remaining species that call this landscape home.
Take Action Today: Tell Indonesia's Minister of Forestry Zulkifli Hasan to protect elephant, tiger and orangutan habitat in Sumatra and save 30 Hills.
If we don't work now to stop the clearing, these important habitats may vanish and elephant, tiger and orangutan forests may disappear forever.
Join thousands of people who have already acted. Please speak up for elephants, tigers and orangutans--write to Minister Zulkifli Hasan today.
