Should there be a ban on LWOP sentences for persons between 18 and 25's. This small and probably voiceless section of society should at least be given a chance of parole. A second chance if you like. I find it hard to believe someone, say 21, is beyond hope. I don't mean automatic release or pardon. Just an automatic parole hearing after say 20 years. An 18 year old is not the same person at 38. I believe we should view, though the law doesn't, such persons as an almost juvinile and should be protected from harsh sentencing. Now each case would be seen on it's merits so not everyone would be released, but thoses deemed reformed could be released back into the world, hopefully to make a positive contribution.
