Good Morning Everyone! It's in the 40's again here but feels colder to me. I've got a chill to the bones and cannot seem to warm up. It's heavy overcast but only a slight chance of rain today and tonight. Better chances for tomorrow and Thursday.
This afternoon I will be working to change out the billboard and making the new threads for us to start using tomorrow. Hopefully they won't get into your way if you are a late poster today. Also, I will be finishing up with Chapter 22 of the study of Matthew so we can start fresh with 23 in the new year.
Michael.......I want to give you special thanks for all that you are and all that you do in the service of the Lord. You have taught me things about myself that I would not have learned without your example. I'm sorry to hear that the Devil's army got to you in an attempt to silence your ministry but relieved that you were able to recover it all and continue for Him.
Justice......with all the pain and suffering you have experienced, it can only be by the grace of God that you can find any love for mankind at all. We do serve an awesome God.
Carol......it would be so wonderful if only I could have stayed wrapped up in my blankets nice and warm all day without having to get up. I share your temptation to hibernate the day away but we both have our assignments to tend to. May God strengthen us and carry us through the day.
Holly......you are our little cheerleader, spreading love and cheer all over the place. Thank you for your never tiring heart.
This afternoon I will be changing out the billboard for the new year, preparing the new threads for January and finishing chapter 22 of the study of Matthew. If you are late coming to group today, please just work around the threads that say January until tomorrow.
Linda.....Florika.....Carla.....Nance.....Ivonne.....Kelli.....Holly..... Justice.....Kaya.....Carol.....Michael.....Gerry.....Johnny.....Paul..... Jeff and any other members I may have failed to mention, Thank you for all you have contributed to make this group a family of God's children and may His blessings be abundant on each of you through the New Year.
ALMIGHTY'S Son died for them too.He is not willing that any should perish, but all wilL come to repentance.I love Israel too,so does HE.I love you too, thank you,Paul and every one for all that you contribute here.It is an important blessing to my life.If I can forgive the ones who killed my loved ones and raped me and my sister,I can forgive any one.I love you all,and wish you all the best year ever.HUGS!!!!!!
WISHING EVERYONE A HAPPY NEW YEAR
GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY ARE IN MY PRAYERS.
I had a hacker to get me on FB and he is Muslim. He got my FB ACC. Twitter acc. Hotmail acc. and my home pc. I have it all back up except the Twitter acc.
Anyone standing for Israel the Muzzies hate you. I will stand up for Israel no matter what.
God bless everyone.
greetings and blessings to all! very cold again today. fighting the hibernation urge still...
There,I hope that covers it........
A nice cup of hot chocolate to warm the bones this morning. It is again 44 degrees reaching for 54 today. We have very heavy overcast sky but not expecting any rain. It just looks cold and dreary outside.
Nance.......you post some of the prettiest graphics and so does Florika. Neither of you live in the states so you must have a secret stash that we know nothing about. LOL. I also enjoyed reading your other threads this morning. Thank you very much for sharing your findings with us.
Kaya......Sometimes I think Scott's wife takes too good of care for him. It's not healthy for him to be so big. I pray he is serious this time about losing the excess pounds. The older we get, the harder it is to get rid of. It becomes too fondly attached. LOL.
I have put on 3 pounds over the holidays that I have to get busy and try to shed in a hurry.
May the Lord watch over us all and guide us in all our ways.
Allo~Carol, Kaye, Jeanette & Friends
thanks again for the kind thoughts, Jeanette.
love, gratitude and blessings to all!
Scott just looks like his wife take good care of him thats all.I think he is adorable, looks like a teddy bear. There are a lot of things for the tourists, there we cater to them for that, they bring revenue. Most people in Jamaica are poverty stricken, and most of Jamaica is dangerous.Much political fight and gang war.But it is beautiful,I do not want to live any more place than here.Kelli,RUN AWAY FROM THAT MAN AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!!!!!! I may piss you off from saying it,but I can give you no better advice..... or you and your child have no thing but misery and violence.I am praying for all of you,ok,we all remember no thing is too hard for ALMIGHTY.I love you all,you are wonderful people, and ALMIGHTY is awesome.
Good Morning to Everyone on this last Lord's Day of 2013. We started out in the low 40's with dense fog but it has given way to clear blue sky and abundant sunshine for a beautiful day.
Kelli......I have given much thought and prayed about how to reply to your recent post. First of all, it appears that your track record is heavy with bad decisions and your daughter doesn't need to be exposed to any more of those. She deserves, as do you, to have a happy and love filled home that gives her peace, joy and security to grow up in. I try never to give advice on any situation.......wise men don't need it and fools won't follow it. All I can do is suggest that you seek professional counseling to help prepare you to make the right decision for you and your daughter. We are not educated or trained in that field here at Salvation By Grace, we are only a bible study group and prayer warriors for those in need. Be assured that we will all be praying for you, that you find the professional and spiritual help you need. I will also direct you to the Lord......He never makes mistakes.......turn all of this over to him, walk away from it, and let Him work it out for you. Then you will know that it is right for you. Meanwhile, I will be praying for you daily.
Carol.......My heart goes out to you. I was caretaker for my Poppa for 14 years until it got to the point that I could no longer handle him. I had no choice but to put him in a nursing home but I still participated in his health care and was with him every minute I could be. I have no regrets for giving so much of my life to him, it was my joy and the bond we formed has made me a better person today. He was my spiritual guide and teacher. I miss him greatly. It's not an easy task but you will come out of it so much stronger. Prayers will continue for you as well.
Johnny.......I did watch the video and enjoyed it very much. That lady has an awesome talent with her hands. It made me want to go out and buy some finger paints to try making something that easily. I know she was using dry materials, looked like some kind of sand or powder, but I'm more familiar with finger painting from my chidhood. Thanks for sharing this with us. I still may try it next time I find someone going to Michaels or Hobby Lobby to get me some paint and paper.
Holly........glad you enjoyed seeing Ziggy, whoever he is named after. Scott and Suzanne had so much fun and those memories will last them a lifetime. I wish I could have that experience just once. The water falls were so beautiful also. The island is just full of beauty. As you could see, my son is not a little boy. He is huge. I truly hate it when he doesn't shave, he looks so dirty and nasty. Suzanne also rode on a zip line somewhere. Is that on your island? They wouldn't let Scott ride it, he was too heavy. It embarrassed him and he said he would start a diet when he got home. Still waiting to see if he does.
Time for everyone to start making their New Years Resolutions, if you are one to make those things. I don't do that any longer. Used to and always broke them. Instead, I'm just going to see how much closer I can walk with the Lord and let Him keep me in line since I can't do it myself.
May God's blessings be yours today and always and may He continue to keep us all safe in His protective care.
Jeanette,I love that video!!!!! Thanks for sharing it.Ziggy.....named after Ziggy Marley,Bob marley's son,no doubt,lol!!!!! I love the ocean,so peaceful.
Kelli,if you have any sense,if that man is abusive and drinking, for the sake of yourself and your children, get away as fast as you can, please. It could mean your children's souls, seriously,as well as your sanity. You can still pray for him, your prayers can reach where you can not.Kaya has bipolar to,manages it from the age of 6 with the herb,(ganja),and prayer/meditation.God is needed.Have a great new year,,hugs to all.
Kelli, i am bi-polar too. we are here for you. you will be in my prayer. i was married twice and both were alcoholics... only you know how much you can tolerate. keep praying and so will we.
Jeanette, my mother is getting progressively frail and addled. early dementia do to mini stroke damage. i'm spending many days and nights at her house right now. she can use my help... it's wearying sometimes, but it's what i want to do. i feel called.
Holly, sometimes i can be clueless.... i care, and will be praying to the Lord that he can reveal himself in a powerful way for Jasmine and her children. and for the peace of the Lord for you. much love.
greeting to all! best wishes.

Hello all. I haven't been on here for awhile. Been going through so much drama. I met a good man at church. A Christian man, which I am not used to hanging around with. We spend hours on the phone, talk each other to sleep, do things during the day together. He was here for Christmas and it was so special. He just went through a bad breakup so he just wants to be friends, but I have developed deeper feelings for him. At first I thought God brought him into my life, but now I don't know about that. See, I found out last week that he is an alcoholic. He drinks all night and when he is on the phone with me. The past couple of nights he has been very verbally abusive to me and it hurts me so much. He talks about suicide a lot and I worry about him. I have been in a lot of abusive relationships and the way he talks to me when he is drunk just brings it all back. And then in the morning he just says he doesn't remember any of it.
Things were going so good for me before I met him a month ago. I was homeschooling my daughter and super active in church and feeling so close to God. Then I got involved with him and he suggested I put my daughter back in school so I did. It turns out it was a good decision but I miss homeschooling her and the bond we were sharing. Now my life is consumed with his problems and him. I know I need to pull away, but it is like I am addicted to him. People tell me it is too soon for me to be in love with him, but I believe I am. I want to help him. I want to show him Jesus can help him. But he won't let me.
Please pray for me and for him. I really need some friends right now so that is why I posted this here. I am just so confused and starting to get depressed again. I am bipolar and this is making me sick. His name is Wade so that you know who to pray for. I love him but I don't think I can do this much longer. Last night I called our Bible study leader and told him what was going on. He is going to talk to a pastor and try to get Wade some help. I am the only one Wade has told about his problem. He is going to be so mad when he finds out I told his secret and will probably never talk to me again.
Enjoy this video. I know you will.
The link below is my goofy son and his wife on the beautiful island of Jamaica swimming with the dolphins and climbing the worlds famous Dunns River Falls. This should make Holly really homesick, but I thought some of you might be interested to see my son and also enjoy the island beauty. Hope you enjoy it.

Nance.......you slipped in and back out while I was still typing on my post. Sorry I missed you.
Who is that pretty little lady with you in the photo? So glad that you got to spend the holiday with family. It is so important to keep the family unit close as possible. Did you get to see Grace also?
It sure sounds a lot colder to say -4C. That would be 24F in our way of measuring the temperature. Even 24 is a lot colder than I want to deal with. I just pray that it doesn't do that here. Thanks for sharing your photo with us. Hope to see you back again soon.
We woke up this morning to 44F and slow drizzling rain. Here it is 5 hours later and still a slow drizzle and cold.
I can just look outside the window and feel a chill.
Michael......this wet is moving your way, hopefully it will be completely out of your way by the time the temps drop from that artic blast that is coming down from Canada. They say the northern states will get more of the white stuff. Looks like this is going to be a long, hard winter, my friends.
Holly and Justice......northern NY is supposed to get snow from this system, hope it is north of you and not more for the area you live in.
Carol.......Absolutely love your graphic this morning. I snagged it to my photobucket for future use if I ever need it. Hope you don't mind. You have not mentioned your mother recently, how is she getting along? I hope she is improving each day. I had forgotten that you are from Nebraska. You are no stranger to the cold either. Don't know how the north deals with those temps at all. It must be an age thingy and I've got a bad case of it. LOL.
May the Lord keep everyone warm and safe through the weekend and provide comfort to those in need.

Had been off visiting my mom up north, and family had gathering of great festivities.
Snowing today, quite warm of -4C
thank you for the prayers, Jeanette, and the good words. love to all.
Good Morning Everyone.......We woke up to 44 degrees this morning, about 10 degrees warmer than has been. Today's high may or may not reach 60 but tomorrow it should. Of course there in another round of rain due to move in as a result of our ity-bity heat wave and then it's going to mix with some more air dropping out of Canada and bring another winter storm to the north and east. For our girls in Illinois and New York, get plenty of food on hand, your due for another round of snow. Or as we say down here, "sneaux".
Michael......don't know if you will get rain or snow, but something is bound to fall on you sooner or later from this next system. I pray it's only the rain.
Our newest member, Paul, lives in Canada, as does Nance, and snow is just a way of life for them. I have to wonder if they ever get tired of it or if it's just accepted.
Holly........kind of thought that photo might make you feel warmer while you are shivering in the cold. Just hang in there with the rest of us, in about 8 or 9 more weeks we can start looking for Spring and happier days again.
Carol.......so sorry to hear that your health let you down for the biggest holiday of the year. What a bummer. Hope you are feeling somewhat better by now, but will pray for your illness to be over soon if not sooner. We sure don't want to drag that into the new year with us.
Linda.......just in case you happen to make it back in before the new year, please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I feel for you having to get out in the nasty stuff to catch a bus to and from work. Hopefully you have a warm place to shelter you while you are waiting for it.
For the rest of our members, you are all remembered in my prayers daily.
May the Lord continue to keep us all safe in His loving care and provide for the individual need of all His children.
thank u for the kind greeting, Jeanette! i love this group.
under the weather the last couple days; head full of congestion, and headache. ouch! lol. please keep me in your prayers...
I love it,Jeanette, thank you.Beautiful......want to go.Biting cold and too much snow here.I hope that the upcoming year is a good one for everyone, that much is accomplished, that all needs of everyone are met,and ALMIGHTY's Kingdom advances more.Continue to pray for the Eternal Salvation of all families represented, and healing and ALMIGHTY'S help wherever needed.Hugs to you all, praises to ALMIGHTY.
Holly......this is one of the photos Scott took on their cruise. Thought you would like it.
Good Morning Everyone. Hoping all of you had a fantastic day yesterday. We do not celebrate any more with a tree or decorations of any kind, but we do give a gift and cook big. I was blessed with a hugh Strongs Concordance with the Hebrew and Greek definitions of the English translations. That should be a big help in my bible study. I was also blessed with a set of ear phones so that I can listen to gospel music or videos without disturbing Teresa or Ray if they are watching TV or on their computers at the same time. I'm really thrilled about both of those.
For those of you that have not noticed, we received a new member for Christmas. Paul Running has come to us from Canada. Please go to the New Member thread and help me extend a warm welcome to our newest member to our fellowship group.
Florika......So happy to see you here. Thank you for the lovely graphics that you have shared with us. Hope that your Christmas was everything you wanted it to be.
Ivonne.......Loved your snowman graphic also. We also share in celebrating with you having Luis home from the hospital in time for Christmas. Blessings from above and answers to many prayers all for you and yours. I am still praying for his complete and speedy recovery.
Holly........thank you for always reminding us to keep God first and to praise Him daily. Hope that your day was a blessing for your family.
Carol.......always such a joy to see your smiling and happy face in group. You set the tone with me for each day. I hope you never miss a day, I would be lost without seeing you here. How was your day?
Nance...Linda....Kaya....Johnny....Matthew....Carla.....Michael.... and all other members......We pray your holiday was filled with joy that only the Lord can give. Let us hear from you soon.
May the Lord guard us in our thoughts, words and deeds and keep us safe from all harm.
As the new year approaches,I hope that all of our wishes and hopes become a reality, especially those for our families and friends.Keep praying for one another and for the families each one represents.Hugs to you all, praises to Almighty.
Hello,my friends.Have a wonderful day.Celebrate ALMIGHTY's gift of HIS SON,all year.Praises be to HIM,and hugs to all of you.
love and blessing to all...
have a blessed and holy Eve. tonight, all! *grouphug*
May the good Lord send you happiness and many blessing.
God bless you all.
I want to wish everyone in our group a very blessed and Merry Christmas!
Good Morning Everyone. We might have made it to 39 this morning, I stayed under the covers until it was 41 before venturing out of bed. Just do not like getting up in the cold. We do have one blessing to be thankful for though......every day now is getting a little longer. The shortest day of daylight is behind us and we are working toward the longest day again. Each month that passes will be another half hour of daylight. Yipppeeeee!!!!!
Our Saints lost their game yesterday, they didn't play well at all. But that is par for them on the road games this year. So disappointing.
I think we all understand what you mean about our children growing up right under our noses and it seems like we missed out on a lot of it. It all happens too fast. For a while it seems like they get older and we don't.......then the horrible realization sets in that we have aged right along with them and couldn't even feel it happening. Beware my friend, our children make us old. LOL.
May the Lord's blessings be on all of us this week and may He keep us all safe from harm.
Good morning, everyone.I hope that this week is a good one for you.I hope that you enjoyed the game , Jeanette.I know what you mean about robberies....Kingston and Brooklyn can both be that way.
My son Joshua turned 20 yesterday.I took him a gift card and a cupcake from purity ice cream, which is right at the end of our street.Hard to believe.
Hi,Carol,Kaya,Michael,Justice,Nance, and everyone.I send hugs to you all, have a great week.
Good Morning Everyone. We had our fair share of rain, some lightening and was under a tornado watch until midnight last night. Praise God we escaped the severe weather that was predicted. Today we are expecting to reach a high of 71 and drop into the 30's tonight. Today is our last day of "springy" days for a while. Run the AC all day and tonight turn on the heat.
Going to watch the Saints and N.C. play this afternoon from Charlotte. Should be an interesting game. Saints have a pattern of losing on their road games and only winning in their dome. If that holds true today, then the Panthers are going to win another one. Who knows? Brees could get lucky and pull out a road game after all. Either way, I will be perched in my recliner with crochet hook in hand and working away, watching my little blanket grow. My time in group will be broken into segments for the next few days. I have lots of cooking to start working on and will only be here when I take a break for a breathing treatment or just to rest my tired legs and body. Just don't give up on me, I'll be around eventially.
May the Lord guide us in all our thoughts, words and deeds and continue to keep us all safe in His merciful and loving care.
Heavy cloud cover this morning with 71 degrees. This afternoon's high to be 75 so it doesn't have far to go. The next storm front is going to move through there today and bring colder air back to the south. By Tuesday morning it is supposed to be below freezing again. Meantime, we are enjoying the AC very much. Helps with my breathing. We are in a zone for severe weather and possible tornados today. Have been praying about this really hard and will be in constant prayer as much as can be all day long. This could affect a lot of people over a very large area.
Holly.......thanks for sharing the story of the Christmas wreath with us. I had never heard that before.
Kaya.......it really would be wonderful if the Christmas spirit of love could last 365 days a year. However, some people do not define "love" the say way we do. In our city and some of the surrounding cities, robberies have increased like you wouldn't believe. Numerous robberies per day. Cost of everything has gone up and jobs are harder to get, so people are stealing money to buy for Christmas and pay their bills, while others are just stealing merchandise for their Christmas. I guess you could say their "sin" is the result of "love"......just not the kind of love we feel. Being out on the streets and public shopping has never been so dangerous as it is right now.
Michael.......Wow.....doesn't seem like it's been a whole year yet for Carson. Poor baby, has to wait 12 whole months before he gets a big celebration again. Both special days being so close together. It's like he is being cheated out of his birthday. I'm so sorry that you are doing without your meds. When they have a regular customer with the same prescription month after month after month, it's hard to understand how they can get confused or messed up with it. Should be routine with them by now. I will be in prayer that by Monday at the very latest it will all be straightened out for you. Wish there was some way you could get a double script so you would always have one to fall back on when things like this happen. Some of my harder to get medicines I will skip maybe one day a week and let them accumulate about a weeks worth to ten days, then I have some room to play with in case the pharmacy goofs up. They will understand when they get older and require meds they can't get. They will know exactly how we feel. I'll be in prayer also about your pain and the rest of the family.
May the Lord watch over all of us this day and protect us from all harm.
Jeanette we are warm this morning feels like spring out side. People are starting to get sick now. My self coughing and Luc is.
Carson birthday is Dec, 28 he almost was born on Christmas.
I been having a time trying to get my enbrel shots. I haven't had them going on three weeks and my whole body is swore. I am walking around like and 80 year old. Pharmacy said they have my order messed up and they might get it straiten out by Monday. I hope so.
Partly cloudy, sunshine and woke up to 68 degrees this morning. As wonderful as that sounds, it is muggy, humid, and a little breezy.
Hope that all of you will go to the New Members thread and help me welcome Matthew Milam II to our group. He is from Chicago and is either getting or about to get another round of snow and freezing temperatures. We are happy to have him join us in fellowship.
Linda......Our newest member is from your area too. I'm so sorry that we didn't get to with you a wonderful Christmas but we do understand the difficulty you have getting to the library computer. Looks like another round of snow and icy weather coming your way. Will keep you in prayer for safe travel to and from work. We will be anxious to hear from you after the first of the year.
My task for the day is mixing up cookie dough of all kinds. That is the easy job. Somebody else will have to put it all on the pans and bake them one cookie sheet at a time. That will take them nearly all day. Tomorrow we are expecting storms, a round of severe weather, so not planning anything. Just going to play it by ear and see what gets done.
May the Lord keep us all safe and continue to provide for the individual needs of each of His children.
Good evening to all. this will probably be my last post until sometime after the new year. Can't believe Christmas is less than a week away. Still have to do my Christmas cards. Looking forward to celebrating the birth of our Savior, but will be glad to see the holiday shopping season come to an end. my store has been opening at 7am the past 2 weeks and most customers don't come into shop until almost 10am. Then we stay open until midnight. Thankfully I don't have to work that late. Christmas Eve the mall I work in is only open until 6pm. Christmas Eve my church will be holding a candlelight service. Then the store opens at 6am the day after for all the people doing returns.
Monday we got some snow, only about 1 to 2 inches. When I got off work, the buses were running an hour behind schedule and the weather wasn't even that bad out. Hate to think how late they would of been if we had a fullblown snowstorm or blizzard. Today was pretty nice out, temps almost into the 40's. Did get some rain. Predicting freezing rain or rain/snow mix for after midnight. Praying it passes us by or dispitates?. Nothing scares me more during the winter than freezing, icy rain or sleet. i would rather deal with several inches of snow.
Want to check in with my other groups so will wish everyone a blessed Christmas.
Oh what a beautiful day.......woke up to temps in the low 50's and headed for 73 today. Beautiful sunshine warming the earth and all that is in it. Thank you Lord. Rain is on the menu for the weekend though and it will be spreading east and northeast.
Holly.......nobody in this house drinks coffee but since it's you, I would be happy to share a "virtual" cup with you. That will just add to the wonderful gift of this day. Hope all is well with you and yours.
Time is running out on shopping and preparations for the big day next week. Hope all of you are better organized than I am. I'm always last to cross the finish line, this year, just getting across that line will be a momentous ocassion.
May the Lord keep us all safe in His loving care and guide us in all our thoughts, words and deeds.
More blue sky and sunshine with an afternoon high expected in the upper 60's. Getting better all the time. But......., this too, shall pass. Saturday, although we are predicted to be into the 70's, is also beinging with it severe weather with possible tornados. Not the kind of weather you want to even hear about, much less have to deal with it. Time for some extra prayers.
Holly.......You got a notice in your message box that I had deleted your post. I only moved it from this thread to our Holiday Recipe thread. That is a neat idea and one that I just might have to try. I loved your post about the snowman. Made me laugh. Please don't send me one that needs to be assembled, I could never do it. LOL.
Michael.......So glad you all had a good time. I bet Carson could sing as good as the rest of them. That is so precious when they mimic what adults are doing. That is also a sign that he is very smart. He is noticing what is going on around him and it is registering with him that he wants to join in. I would love to have watched him doing that. He has a birthday coming up really soon. I'm sorry to say I forgot the date.
May the Lord keep us all safe while continuing to provide for our needs. Count all your blessings and please remember those special needs on our prayer request list.
This post was modified from its original form on 18 Dec, 8:20
I like all your graphs they are beautiful.
Jeanette we had fun at church dinner. We dint get home to 4:00 pm
Carson was trying to sing with singers.
Upper 30's to begin our day with highs going to mid 60's. Tonights low in the 40's and it keeps getting better from there. We have blue, royal blue sky and lots of sunshine trying it's best to warm us up a bit. I hope this wonderful weather reaches out to all of you quickly.
You may have noticed that Chapter 22 of Matthew has been started, finally. Sorry for the delay. The first part was a bit lengthy so I will wait another day before adding to it so that everyone can catch up.
Nance........was that photo of the snow taken from your home? I love all of those Christmas trees growing wild and the snow piling up on the branches. That is a beautiful scene.
Holly.......I had never heard of the Legend of the Candy Cane before. That is so nice, thanks for sharing it with us. Some people just have a natural knack for finding interesting things like that to share. I'm not one of them. I do appreciate the findings of others though.
We have made out a grocery list that is as long as a kids wish list for Santa. The lady that shops for us will be here tomorrow, I sure feel sorry for her on this trip. Besides all that we have on the list, she will have to fight the heavy traffic on the roads and in the grocery aisles. I'm just praying that the Lord lends me enough of His glorious strength that I can make and bake all that we are hoping for this year. Without Him, none of our plans will be accomplished.
May the Lord keep everyone safe from harm as we go about our seasonal tasks and shopping and continue to provide for our individual needs.
Allo~Jeanette, Holly & Friends
Lotsa snow already~
Cold again in the south, blue sky and lots of sunshine. By Thursday we are expected to have our highs back into the 70's at least through Sunday so far. That will be 4 days of using the AC again. I'm getting all excited about that.
Holly........I have never been to any type of place where they do ice sculpting but I have seen a little bit of it done on TV. I bet that was beautiful to see. It's amazing what artist can do with a huge block of ice and a chain saw or chisel and mallet. If I were to try that I would just have chipped ice for a cold glass of tea. I even have trouble drawing a straight line with a ruler. Even my stick figures look funny. So how is your snow this morning? Did you get any more or has it started to melt off yet? My grandmother always said if it lays on the ground for 3 days, it will snow again. For your sake, I hope it melts quickly.
We seem to be the only ones posting in here lately, along with Michael. Guess everyone is busy with their shopping and decorating. Maybe if they all get snowed in they will find a few minutes to visit with us. LOL.
May the Lord bless each of us according to our individual needs and keep us safe in His protective care.
Thank you,Jeanette,I guess that is a good way to look at it.
I hope that everyone, wherever you may be,are warm and happy.I was happy to go with William Saturday after work to see the ice sculpture, the snow was actually a contributor to the mood.Always focus on the positive, right. That is how you stay happy.ALMIGHTY is good.
I hope that you all find something to celebrate today, and that you will thank ALMIGHTY for that thing.
My celebration is....LIFE,LOVED ONES,AN OPPORTUNITY AT SALVATION,AND HOPE FOR US ALL TO OBTAIN IT.
Have a wonderful day, regardless of any negativity, focus on what is positive.HUGS TO YOU ALL,PRAISES TO ALMIGHTY,YAHWEH.
Holly.......I was afraid you would get blanketed but hoped it wouldn't be that bad for you. Just enjoy it and think of it as a blessing......after all, that much of it has purified the air you breathe and given you beautiful surroundings to enjoy. I'll pray for your safe travel to and from work.
Michael.......Sounds like a wonderful way to spend a Sunday, with family. Hope your travel conditions are clear. Eat well and enjoy the fellowship. Hug the baby for me.
May the Lord bless each of us this day according to our needs and keep us all safe from harm.
Well,I must dig out my car from about 7 inches of snow to go to work today. My favorite season...(NOT!) Looking at the positive aspects,we are not homeless,we haave plenty of coffee, and winter is temporary! Last night when I got out of work,William and I went downtown,to what they call "the Commons".They had an ice scuplting competition, and they had the most beautiful, elaborate, intricate, and creative ice sculptures,I had ever seen. Then we went for pizza.Hugs and love to you all,and praises to ALMIGHTY.I hope wherever you all are that you are warm, safe and happy.
Jeanette we did get a little ice nothing to bad.
We are going this morning to our sons church 20 miles. Our sons father inlaw is the pastor. They invited us to their Christmas dinner. Early I say.
Our prayers for everyone in our group.
We had a couple of hard rains through the night but it has all passed by now. We still have heavy cloud cover that is keeping the temps warmer, started the day off with 63 degrees, high today 67 and a low tonight of 38. We are running the AC again until bedtime, then set the heat for a warm climate to wake up in tomorrow morning. By next weekend, we are expecting to be back into the 70's, and even 73 for one of those days. I can hardly wait. Now I have something to look forward to.
May the Lord bless each of us as we go about our frantic preparations and shopping for Christmas. May He continue to keep us all safe from harm and provide for our individual special needs.
Hello and hugs to my friends,and praises to ALMIGHTY!Have a wonderful day.Michael Ivvonne,Carol,Jeanette,Justice...take care,ok.
Good Morning Michael.......You came in and left all while I was trying to compose my post. I took a long time, had to stop and look up my scripture in 1 Timothy. I can remember what is in the Bible, what it says, but not where it is. I am constantly on a hunt for anything I need in the scriptures. I did see a little bit of the weather channel last night before falling asleep. If memory serves me correctly, you are about to get hit with more icy conditions, maybe some snow. Your area on the map was pink....I think that is for freezing rain and sleet......just nasty stuff. I'll be praying it won't be heavy and it will melt off quickly for you. My biggest worry is your power. As long as you've got that, you will be okay. Let us know what's happening with you over the weekend.
Prayers for you and yours always.
Good Morning to all on this wonderful cold, cloudy, Friday. Our 70 that was in the forcast has now found it's proper place.......that was not supposed to be the temperature but the percentage of rain chance for Saturday. Somebody kept entering it in the wrong space for the TV broadcast. Hopefully they finally learned what they are doing. I was so looking forward to that imaginary warm-up.
Only 12 more days til Christmas, guess it's time to start singing that 12 Days song again. I guess today would be the Partridge in a Pear Tree.
Kaya......I'm truly sorry to hear about the dietary habits of Justice. Not ALL meat packers practice the cruel and savage methods that we are all against. When you walk down the meat aisle in the grocery, you have no way of knowing. There is no way to put a stop to that practice so actually the only person that is being hurt is Justice and her sweet unborn baby. It's not hurting those meat factories one little bit for Justice and the baby to be undernurished. What those people do wrong, they will have to answer for before God. God instructed us to kill and eat, He never gave us instructions on how to kill.
1 Timothy 4:1 thru 5 tells us this....."Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seasred with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
God does not bless those that deprive themselves and their children of what He has created to nourish our bodies to make us strong to resist those seducing spirits. That poor, innocent little baby can't help or deserve this when it can be avoided. Talk to her, Kaya, make her see she is hurting herself and the baby. I'm praying for both of them every day. God cannot help those that will not help themselves.
We received a text message this morning from Scott. They left yesterday afternoon on their cruise. He says he cannot walk a straight line, he doesn't have his sea legs yet. So far he has not been sick, just walks like a drunk man. If they hit any kind of rough waters, he will probably fall and bust his behind. As big as he is, I sure wouldn't want him falling on me. LOL. Teresa told him last night that if the boat goes down, lock himself in a closet so he won't become fish food.
Have lots to try to get done today. Hope all of you have a blessed and wonderful day. May the Lord continue to keep us all safe in His merciful and loving care.
Jeanette I know it was cold hear this morning don't know the temps. I need to check the weather to see whats coming next.
Linda we are glad we dint get what others in the storm. One good thing is we have plenty of canned food if we cant get out for several days when we get a big one.
Kaya sounds good. We have three deer in the freezers .We have chickens for eggs they taste so much better than out of the stores. I have never tried goats milk. I don't know of anyone in out area seals goat milk. I would like to try it.
chant down babylon!!!!!love to you,my friends, and praises to ALMIGHTY for ever.
Hi.I hope those in cold climates are being warm!I remember Brooklyn...Brrrrrooklyn,LOL!I hate winter!ALMIGHTY have His reasons, but I do not have to like it.
Jeanette,Justice does not eat meat at all, unless it is hunted in the wild, because of the cruelty in factory farming.Eggs and dairy, only certified cruelty free.We have goats for milk, chickens for eggs, because I know the animals were ok that we obtained them from.
All who celebrate,I hope that your holidays are happy times with family, and that they help you reflect on ALMIGHTY,and not babylon.
Love you all.Hope those in need of miracles right now obtain them.
It was a cold 36 degrees here this morning. I understand that is a heat wave for some members of this group, but we are not accustomed to this weather in the south. Most people living down here do not even own a winter coat, they wouldn't get enough use out of it to be worthwhile. At least we have blue sky and sunshine. The 70 on Saturday has once again disappeared from the weather forcast. Guess we will just have to wait and see what we get.
Justice......Holly is right, you need a diet high in iron. Start your day with some frosted mini-wheats. The sugar coating will give you a little boost of energy along with the iron from the mini-wheats. You should also be drinking orange juice or taking some other form of Vitimin C, it is important to helping the body absorb iron. You should be eating red meat, eggs, dark leafy greens (spinach or collards), prunes, raisins, oysters, clams, scallops, turkey or chicken giblets, beans, chickpeas, soybeans, liver, artichokes. These are all high in iron content. When I was in the hospital with acute anemia, they gave me 325 MG of Ferrous Sulfate daily to build up my blood red cells. I hardly had any at all. The generic dose would be 5 GR TAB URL. Your boyfriend should understand these doses. Perhaps he can just ask a DR about this for you and maybe get a script to get you some. If these foods make you sick, get some pedialyte to replace your minerals and nutrients in your body. You mentioned your baby as "her"........is this a definite, it's a girl? No pregnancy is just like another.......Teresa moved constantly but Scott was very quite and still, hardly knew he was there. Just concentrate on getting yourself built up and that little baby will become stronger right along with you. Prayers are being said for you multiple times a day. We just have to trust in the Lord.
May the Lord have mercy on His children, touch those in need with His healing touch, provide for all our needs, and keep us safe from harm.
That is cute and funny,Jeanette.Justice, the anemia will make you weak and tired,I am anemic too.Try to eat things high in iron. How is everyone?I send hugs to you all across the miles, and praises to ALMIGHTY.
That is cute,Jeanette.I do not have a DR,no insurance. My boy friend is a nurse,he is helping me,and he is delivering the baby.I am severly anemic, but we can not figure out the reason. We are doing supplements to try to bring it up.I am afraid because I feel weak, and I have not felt her move.I collapsed at work, and the man working there carried me out of the hall way.Sorry for the negativity, did not mean to do that.I focus on what is good.Have a great rest of the week, every one.HUGS!!!!!!!!!!!!! A ZILLION OF THEM.LOVE YOU ALL.PRAYING FOR YOU,TOO.
Here is a little something for your enjoyment pleasure. It's so funny, you will get a good laugh out of it. As you know, Monks have to take a vow of silence, they cannot talk to one another. This is a choir of Monks and how they get around the silence. Enjoy!
It's another cold morning here, temps in the mid 30's. Hopefully we will break 50 today but not counting on it. The forcast has put 70 back on the calendar for Saturday. We shall just wait and see. Things change every 6 hours down here lately.
Care2 seems to be working better for me this morning, hope that continues throughout the day.
Nance.......The kitten in the teacup is so cute. I feel cold just thinking about your temps. Have you ever given thought to moving far south away from those conditions? I don't know how my native ancestors made it through those cold winters, but they would move camp further north to be there instead of south where it was warmer. That was the only way they could keep their meat from going to waste that they killed on their big hunt before the winter set in. Their teepees didn't have fridge or freezers back then. lol. Guess they all kept warm around the fire cooking their buffalo or elk.
Holly......thanks for the flowers to remind us there will be another spring to look forward to. Sorry I gave you the credit for Kaya's precious graphic. Sometimes my brain just doesn't click in and other times it goes on vacation without me. Hopefully I've got it all together again.
Linda......My heart goes out to you also, having to get out in such cold weather to go to work and back. There ought to be a law. I can only pray that this is the absolute worse this winter season has to offer us. Maybe there will be an early spring and it will get better soon. That is what I'm praying for anyhow.
Justice.......if you have fearful concerns about your health and that of the baby, can your doctor not put those fears to rest for you? Maybe you just need to sit down with your medical professional and have a long talk. I will keep you both in my prayers for a safe delivery and healthy baby. Hopefully this sickness is about over and you can enjoy the rest of your pregnancy. Thank you for all your prayers for the rest of us.
Michael......it looks like this next storm system might get you again. Sure hope not. Let's just pray it moves in and out as fast as the other one did.
May the Lord keep us all safe and warm and provide for the needs of His children.
Allo~Jeanette, Holly, Linda S & Friends
Temperatures are in the deep freeze up here also. If you go out, bundle up, and keep safe.
Good afternoon to all. Been dealing with frigid temps the past few days, with wind chill putting temps into single digit range. Did warm up a bit on sunday, temps in 30's. Also snowed throughout the day. Had a couple of inches by the next morn. Next few days supposed to be frigid, then temps to warm up later in week. Also more snow predicted.
Got off work early Monday so stopped by library only to find out internet was down. Have today(tues) off from work. No days off again until next Tuesday. Well also off on sundays, but no computer access that day.
Michael-sounds like you got hit with just about every kind of precipitation winter can throw at you. Bet you're glad for the warmer temps. You must be glad you got all your canning and freezing done before the bad weather hit. As for where people get the money to shop black Friday, who knows? Most probably use their credit cards then deal with the bills in January.
Nancy-your new grandbaby look so adorable. Your daughter looks like a sweet girl.
You must be proud of them both.
Jeanette-I sympathize with you on your care2 problems. Can't count how many posts have disappeared into cyberspace on me.
Need to check in with other groups, so hope to visit again soon.
This post was modified from its original form on 10 Dec, 13:50
Good Afternoon Everyone. I'm having all kinds of problems today, it's 2pm and I'm so far behind schedule. I've tried posting since 9am but my posts just disappear on me. Hopefully this one will make it. I'll try to do better tomorrow, going to give Care2 a break for now. May God bless each family represented here, provide for the needs of His children and keep us all safe in His loving care.
Jeanette we have a little ice and snow this morning our schools is on a three delay. Jeanette I am a worrier too when I should leave it in the Lords hands.
Justice we are glad to hear Luis is better.
Nance you have been busy. Beautiful baby Nance. My Mom makes quilts.

Another cloudy day in the south with rain chances increasing by tonight. It is predicted to stay in the 50's all week, by Friday the 60's and 70 again for Saturday.
We watched 4 hours of non-stop snowfall yesterday in Philly for the football game on TV. That was awesome. I'm glad I don't have to try getting around in that storm but it was beautiful. There were 2 other games on TV that also played in the snow.
Nance........Thank you for sharing the photo with us of Meghan and Gracie. Your daughter is beautiful. Gracie looks like she is very content and a good baby. If only they could stay that small a little longer. They grow up so fast. So glad to see you back in group, you have been missed.
Holly........I "love" your birdie graphic this morning. That is so cute. Here's wishing you a safe and fantastic week also. Hope you miss out on all that snow that is moving in your direction. Hopefully it will move to the north of you.
I was able to complete Chapter 21 of Matthew yesterday afternoon. Maybe tomorrow I can start on Chapter 22.
Please remember our prayer request thread and to pray for those who are in serious need.
May the Lord keep us all safe in His loving and protective care and continue to provide for the needs of His children.
Beautiful baby,Nance. You must be happy.Hi,Michael.Hope that you feel better.Hi Jeanette ,and everyone.Have a fantastic week.
Allo~Jeanette, Michael, Holly & Friends
Been busy sewing 3 quilts and they are off to their destination for my grandchildren.
Here is my precious granddaughter Gracie Rose who is 3 weeks now, along with her mom, just as precious, Meghan.
Good Morning Everyone. We are about as wet as you can get, it's been raining all morning so far. We are not in any danger of freezing so it's safe to say "Thank You Lord."
Michael.......Happy to hear that your warmer temps are there and you are also getting rain instead of that frozen form of precipitation. I remember that you are surrounded by trees and that is why I worry about icy conditions causing a tree to fall or lose a limb and take out your power. You know me by now, that I'm the worlds worst when it comes to worry. LOL. Hope all is well with you and yours.
Holly........It does seem like everyone here has a full plate to deal with. That is why we all need each other. Galatians 6:2 tells us "Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ." It is for this reason that we pray for each other and lift one another up to the Lord. Sorry to hear that you are having to go out and work on this Lord's Day. Bundle up good and keep warm, we don't want you getting sick.
May the Lord keep us all safe and warm and continue to meet the many needs of His children.
Holly God bless and watch over you going to work and back.
Jeanette we have a little ice it was cold last bight and it is raining right now. So its warming up for today. I haven't checked the weather this morning.
Jeanette they are trees all around us too. It is hard to keep up with it all at times.
Linda I feel for you with all the Christmas shoppers going wild. I wonder where they get all their money. lol. I have to watch our shopping not to waist much.
Hello ,everyone.Going to work in a bit, wanted to tell you all hello first.Justice,Ivvonne,Michael,Jeanette,Carol......we all have our own things that we deal with.No one is alone if we pray for one anotheR,AND when we remember ALMIGHTY never will leave us...I pray for everyone here.Have a great day,and a wonderful week,ok
It's cloudy and 32 degrees cold for our low this morning. High today in the 40's, but tomorrow back to the 50's and getting a little better each day from there. Tonights low expected to be 39 but even that is an improvement.
Michael.......get ready, my brother, snow, ice, freezing rain, just plain old nasty is headed your way but by Monday it should all melt away with your temps back in the 40's. It won't last long. I'll be praying for you not to lose power during that mess.
Hello Holly........Your cheerfulness sure lights up the room. Thank you for putting Ivonne and Luis on that prayer site, they are in serious need at this time. I hope we get an update from her today so we will know specifically how to direct our prayers for him.
Nance......we haven't heard from you in a few days.
Florika.....you are also "missing in action".
Maybe everyone is out getting their Christmas shopping done early. It's nice to have that big chore out of the way. Hope to see all of our members back soon.
May the Lord keep us all safe and warm and provide for our individual needs.
This post was modified from its original form on 07 Dec, 7:58
Hahahaha!!!Whoops, wrong one!I meant to do this one....I wish all of you a relaxing and happy weekend.Jeanette,I found a website for requesting prayer,I put Ivvonne and Luis on there.Blessings to all of you,and praises to ALMIGHTY.
Yep.....yep.....yep.....we finally have rain. Heavy cloud cover, 20 degrees cooler this morning (45) dark and gloomy, high expected to be in mid 60's with a low tonight of 35. This is the last taste of spring for a while, I guess. Hopefully this next cold spell won't hang around too long either. All good things must come to an end.
Michael......hang in there with me, pray hard, and perhaps we can get another little spring break before long. Sure wish our yard would get cleaned up again, there are leaves falling now all over the place and blowing into our back yard where we have no trees. Our yard is like a magnet for those things. Grass doesn't need cutting but a good mower to mulch the leaves would be great.
Linda......I knew it was about time for you to visit again. So great to see you again. I'm so happy that you are getting more hours now, you really need them with the cost of living on the rise and especially right here at Christmas time. I hope that the nasty ice and freezing rain doesn't hit you, it's in the area. Bundle up good and keep warm, don't want you getting sick for the holidays.
For those of you that have not noticed yet, there is an UPDATE on the Prayer Request thread for Ivonne's hubby, Luis. It is not a good report and they are in serious need of prayer.
May the Lord make us aware of all of our blessings and continue to provide for our needs and keep us safe from all harm.
Jeanette our weather is changing rain and cooler. Three days were like spring I love it. We got to a little yard clean up anyway.
Justice I hope you are feeling better.
Good afternoon everyone. Sorry, it's been awhile since I visited the group. Made it through another black Friday. So many stores opening 8pm Thanksgiving Day then staying open until midnight or later that Friday. Feel sorry for those who have to clean up the big mess that is left and get the stores ready for post black Friday shoppers. Had to work from 7am to 7pm black Friday. Exhausted by the end of the day. If didn't have to work on that day, would just stay home. You know, if people would stop going to the stores Thanksgiving night and refusing to shop, pretty soon retailers will stop opening their stores earlier and earlier each year.
Had a few nice days this week with temps in the 40's and 50's. Also quite a bit of rain. Supposed to get colder towards the weekend. Work hours have increased so don't know when I will get to the library. Wishing all a blessed good evening.
Cloudy again in the south but still no rain. Today might be the day........our odds of getting wet are greater than yesterday.
Today we start taking inventory of our kitchen cabinets to see what we need to restock on for our Christmas baking. That will also include Christmas dinner. That is going to be an all day chore as often as we need to stop and rest or to take a breathing treatment. Thank goodness we don't have to cook today. We made a meatloaf yesterday and there is enough to feed on again today. I could be happy with a meatloaf everyday, even for a holiday meal.
Whatever chores you have scheduled for today, hopefully they will all go smoothly and be completed on time. May the Lord guide us in everything we do, in all our thoughts, and in all our words and continue to keep us all safe from harm. To Him be all praise, honor and glory.
WHAA GWAAN?!?!?!?! RISPIC!
(This is a common Jamaican greeting, sort of like saying,"How are you doing?"Or "How is it going?",and "Rispic" is a respectful greeting.
How are feeling,Justice? Is the baby going to be ok?
Yes Jeanette,it is very simple, but not always easy.
Michael,I hope that all works out well for all in your home.
Praises to ALMIGHTY,and hugs & blessings to all of you.
Cloudy like rain but still warm and springy. Loving every minute of it.
Michael......so glad to hear that you are also sharing this lovely weather with me. It's also good to hear that you have 2 other boys with you, that will be company for Luc. Hope these boys are a better influence on him than the others were.
Holly......All He ever asks of us is to live for Him. Give Him your heart and soul, He gave His life for us. People always want to make something hard out of something that is so easy.
Justice.......It's wonderful to see you feeling well enough to come in, even if just for a brief "hello". Praying for you and your baby every day.
Kaya.......Thank you for your input and expressing your opinion on the topic. I'm still trying to sort out my feelings and come to some sort of definite conclusion. Meanwhile, I'm praying that God will show me what is right.......what His feelings would be. He always sees things differently than we do through the eyes of mankind.
Now that the weather is warming up a bit, it should be about time to hear from Linda again......and all the rest of you that are missing in action since before the holiday. Just know that you are missed and hurry back again.
May the Lord keep us all safe and guide is in all our ways.
,MY PRECIOUS FRIENDS.
We are warming up this week feels like spring outside.
Jeanette Luc is doing good. We have two more boys two James 13 and 16. They are already looking forward for the Christmas break. One has a nick name he likes.
Hello.Just wanted to pop in for a moment.I usually keep the Holy sacred and set apart, and entertainment be just that. How people choose I do not judge, this is just me.Hugs to all,YAHWEH blessings to you.
Not sure this is going to work, but we shall see. My reply box to type in is barely big enough to type 4 lines in at a time. As long as it keeps moving up I guess I'm doing okay. We started off at 65 this morning, hoping to reach 80 today. The closer the better. Our humidity is 100 % though and the concrete porch and carport are wet all over with beaded puddles of sweat caused by the humidity. A real sloppy mess. I have to love it while I can.....it's supposed to cool down again by the weekend or first of next week.
I fell asleep last night watching the life and passion of Christ on the History Channel. I thought we were enjoying it until I was told that I was pointing out every flaw and mistake of the movie that wasn't in the Bible. For example, when Jesus raised Lazareth from the dead, He went inside the tomb and touched him to wake him from his sleep. The Bible tells us that Jesus called "Lazareth, come forth", and Lazareth came forth out of the tomb. Seems to me that if the entertainment field wants to bring us something to watch and learn from, they could at least follow the Word and get it right. Then I got to thinking........should anybody ever attempt to make the Word of God a production of entertainment? What are your feelings on this?
May the Lord lead us in all our ways and keep us all safe in His loving care.
“In the Cross is salvation; in the Cross is life; in the Cross is protection against our enemies; in the Cross is infusion of heavenly sweetness; in the Cross is strength of mind; in the Cross is joy of spirit; in the Cross is excellence of virtue; in the Cross is perfection of holiness. There is no salvation of soul, nor hope of eternal life, save in the Cross.”
â Thomas à Kempis
It is my hope that ALMIGHTY use me to be that spark for some one...hope many some ones.
No winter....never.There is rain seasons and hurricane season.Better than snow and cold.,even if it is bad.
Hope your week is good.
Woke up to the 60's this morning and headed to the mid 70's by this afternoon. The heat is off and the AC is back in business. It's very cloudy but the sun keeps peeking through the breaks and it should clear off in a few more hours.
Carol.......just want to let you know that your Mom is still on my prayer list, although she is not listed on the Prayer Request thread. When time permits, please give us an update on that thread so that others will know to continue praying for her as well.
Holly........I enjoyed the inspirational about the coffee and the cups so much that I emailed it to someone very near and dear that needs to hear that in the worst way. Thank you for sharing.
Nance.......love your Snoopy snowball, that was precious. It's hard to believe that 2014 is so near, we have been trying not to think about that here. It means we will all get another year older. LOL.
Kaya.......your morning greeting looks so "springy" and that is just the way it feels today. It sure would be nice if it was and this winter was fading away instead of just moving in on us. Do you have any type of winter season at all?
Now that the Black Friday weekend is behind us, hopefully group participation will pick back up again. Everyone has been so busy with the holiday, company, family, and shopping, it's a wonder anyone came in at all. Now maybe things will get back to normal for us again.
May the Lord continue to bless His children with their needs and divine protection from the evil and harm in this world.
Hello~Holly, Jeanette & Friends
Yes, another page has been turned...while another year is just waiting around the corner.
Enjoy your afternoon.
Good Morning Everyone! We woke up to 37 degrees but now, 1 1/2 hour later it's already 53........warming up to upper 70's by afternoon. It is a picture perfect morning, blue sky, not a cloud to be seen and lots of bright sunshine.
Holly........I don't know if I have any celebrating left in me, but I can always pray and give thanks for the gifts and blessings of the day, which are many.
Michael........Hope you get to warm up along with us this week. Guess the boys were happy to get back with their friends. How is Luc doing? Haven't heard you mention him lately. Enjoy the break while you can, in a couple of weeks they will be out again for about 2 more weeks for Christmas and New Years. This is such an exciting time for the kids.
Reminding all of the cooks and chefs in the group......we do have a Holiday Recipe thread to share your favorites. There is not much time left to prepare our shopping list to start our baking and candy making.
Two other threads of interest are Inspirational Poetry/Hymns and Bible Names and their meaning by Nance.
Hopefully I will get a chance to add some more to the study of Matthew.....chapter 21. For you new-comers, there is a whole thread with the links to Matthew Bible Study with all the chapters to date so that you can go back and start from the beginning. If you have any questions, please feel free to open a new thread and we will happily discuss the topic with you.
May the Lord be your guide in all things and may He continue to watch over us and keep us safe from harm.
Time does fly by Dec. is hear. Thanks Jeanette for keeping us updated.
Boys go back to school tomarrow. So we get a break. lol
Hello and good morning.A new day,a new week,a new month....kool.I am happy that ALMIGHTY's mercies are new every morning. What will you celebrate today?
