Hi ... I continue in my self-styled SAMSARA RETREAT and will be checking Care2 and other efforts only about once a week or so. My writing, away from the Internet has been flourishing and encourages me to "shift gears" in my current activity. If your way is open, as a HOST, continue to check in, do appropriate hosting activity and certainly POST whatever you deem to be helpful to the 140+ members of this Dharma group. Thanks!

AUGUST 16th MEMO: As of today I have changed the masthead text for this group to the following:

"As of mid-August 2007, the intention of this group is to function as a PORTAL into the VPIWW main online teaching site for Sapan Rinpoche."

As I had discussed in several frames above, I have always wanted this gentle online Dharma discussion group to be a PORTAL into higher and more substantive (online) Mahayana and Vajrayana teachings, with all of the limitations that THAT implies. Thus, after creating and getting a good start on the VPIWW in May ...

Hello, my precious Co-Hosts! I have today, this Mother's Day, 2007, launched the "MEDICINE BUDDHA HEALING CIRCLE," part of the original intention of this group when I started it in early 2006. This will function as a thread in this group, and for PCL, my KTL Dharma Center in Lyons, and the virtual VPIWW - Vajrayana Pathways Institute Without Walls [see new group on Care2].

I have had a busy week, and will get to some DOME postings this weekend, with probably my best work getting posted on Monday, one of my best WORK DAYS, with no other interuptions, etc.

Welcome , RME, Tatanitak to our hosting duties here! It would be very nice to have you weigh in about Milarepa and Gampopa and the great literature around them with which you are so deeply involved. Please read all the posts when you have time and help us to Host in whatever good ways come to you!

Merril, now that you have had a chance to get deeply into Thinley Norbu's "Cascading Waterfall ..." it would be nice for you to start a Ngondro thread and help people with that most important phase of our Budhhist training.  What do you think?

And dear hell_Zen, A.J., believe it or not, I am now ready to launch on February 1st, some new material and energy for the DOME site. I hope that your days have been joyful and your practice is flourishing!!

Let us move forward now, as we go into February, and expand upon what we have been doing here!

How and in what ways would you like to help nourish this site as a "Healing Circle?" My original intention was to provide a PORTAL, here, into the deeper and higher elevations of Mahayana & Vajrayana Buddhism, to the extent which our Samayas in "Secret Mantra" inform but also restrict that activity.
