On this thread I would like all our current members to participate in creating our group's mission, goals and targets.

It is true that I have created the group after starting the "People of Earth ratifying Kyoto Prtocol" project but I see this project as part of something bigger that should lead this group's vision.

My belief that in the world we live in local issues are effected and/or effecting world issues. Women empowerment in Brasil has precautions in the UK. HIV-Aids epidemic in Africa effects US economy and so on.

From this stand I formed the group to bring people world wide to discuss local issues and global issues, try to see how things effect and connect with each other and with time, find ways to make a difference for the best whether through advocacy on-line or actual project building in the real world.

I would like to know your opinions about that. Am I being too general? Do you think we should deal with only a certain subject?
