Unfortunately because of the recent deluge of spammers on Care2, I felt it would be best for now to change the settings of this group to where new members will now have to be approved. We have already been ‘hit’ a few times so hopefully this will keep them out of this group.

If anyone sends out invites to this group, it would help me out if you could let me know, just to make sure I do not ‘leave them sitting at the door’, lol. You can either send me a NM or post a message here.

The spammers haven't invaded any groups I own yet, but I'm not going to close up any of them just for spammers. For me, it's more fun to block them after they come in and then delete their crap.

Last year we were getting spammers in the "Happily Married" group for 'single dating'...LOL  needless to say I had to delete the thread and block the so called new members. It bugs me one thing to spam our groups but it's another to spam it with a total opposite of what the group is about.
