Daily clicks for hunger January 26, 2006 3:17 PM

Please visit these sites and click every day!

The following sites are from Darin's Free Donation Clicks at    (See the following to help hungry children even more!)  On this site, the buttons are not so big, but they still say “Help a child”. If you have an extra moment, clicking one of the two sponsor links (for surveys and MP3 players) also helps.  For every 1000 visitors to those sites, the companies will donate even more money.  I myself try to stick with one so that I can put as many clicks towards one site as possible.
These people are determined to end hunger by the year 2015.  Let’s do it!  ( I don't see anything that says I can only click ___ times, so I try to click 10-50 times a day.)
A click on the big, round button with a picture of a large drop of water on it helps to provide clean, safe water for the poor.';return%20true;
Each click means 1 glass of clean water.
In Spanish.  Click on the large round, blue button that says “Gratis”.  Cute because when you move the cursor on top of the button, the button changes into a green smiley face.  Click the smiley face to make the donation.
Click on the rectangular, colorful button with the kid on it.
Pick a category, any category.  (I can't find anything that says you can't click all the categories, so I do.)
Click the red button saying “Dorcao”.  It also has a moving red arrow pointing right at it.
Click the big blue button that says “Um colo para cada crianca”.
In Dutch.  Click on either the red round button or the red link next to it.
Click one of the blinking company logos.  On the next page, click the blue button that says “Donar”. The buttons on the top corners & the one on the bottom left are worth the most money ($5 each).
Also known as the E-philanthropy site.  Click the obvious button!
Click on the “Donations” link to the right of the picture of the family.
Click on the “Click to Find Here” button.  Should be pretty easy to spot; it has a bull’s eye on it.  I do not know if you actually have to run a search to donate, so I search something every day, just in case.
This site is in Polish, but you’ll find the site to be very self-explanatory.  Basically, there’s a large, unhappy wooden puppet with a hole in its abdomen.  When you move your cursor over that hole, the puppet becomes happy!  This site never fails to make me smile.

A note about freedonation dot com...

I have found it easier to hit the REFRESH button 19 times, than to hit the donate button, after the first time. Sometimes the hits do not register, and it is frustrating.

Spreading the Message and clicking WILL be more efective. January 27, 2006 8:58 PM

No one has had to raise awareness with others.

This can be more effective than just clicking.  One more person like you doubles your effectiveness and you can get many more than one if you try.

This need to bring more people at Care2 into caring to Care2 about people being hungry is what was the thrust of this site.  Otherwise it was not needed.

Anyone doing this or is it not what you will do to Care2?

I have been February 01, 2006 7:38 AM

clicking at the hunger site and have purchased several items that all to the food donation. Good way to spend money and help others. Plus I wear one of two t-shirts that remind people that we can only have peace by making sure there is enough food for all in this world.

Signing petitions usually is wasted effort but if we actually had numbers who did this one, real ... March 31, 2006 8:43 PM

numbers, it might make a difference.

But we do not as even the 1000 is imaginary and I will imagine that there are not 25 people who will commit to signing this (or will indicate they already long ago have).

All should consider its truths:

End Global Poverty - Empower Women of the World
Dear [your representative],

I am writing to ask you to support U.S. foreign policies and programs that address the social and economic inequalities that leave women in the developing world subject to a life of poverty.

As a general rule, women are more vulnerable than men when it comes to poverty. Consider the facts:

- Women constitute 75 percent of the poorest people in the world today.
- Women produce half the world's food, but own only 1 percent of its farmland.
- Of the 876 million illiterate adults in the world, two-thirds are women.
- In some countries in the developing world, women are more likely to die in childbirth than reach the sixth grade.

Changing these circumstances is no small order, but it can be done. Women and their families can succeed when they have the right tools and resources available to them - economic opportunity, basic health care and education, the ability to participate in decisions that affect them and recognition of their basic rights and dignity.

Giving people an opportunity to improve their lives is what America is all about. As you make choices in this year's budget process, please remember that your decisions about U.S. foreign assistance programs will affect millions of women.

[your comment here]

Thank you for your consideration.

All it takes is 10 to want the link and I will post it, but all it really takes is one to post it and many (or few we really do not know as we have no organization and we have no certain connections YET) then can do it.

This site can be reached from (under the link "Hungry Children", but I thought I'd also copy Sandra W.'s request:

" Int'l Hospital for Children Needs 100,000 Clicks by the end of November to get $100,000.00, but they only have 15,200 clicks so far!!

Around the world, children die every day from conditions that are easily treated in the United States. Please support the International Hospital for Children, a nonprofit organization that links surgical, diagnostic and preventative resources to heal seriously ill children in developing nations.

With every click, you donate $.01 to the International Hospital for Children[and you can go back & click as many times as you want!!]

You need to join for your clicks to count, but joining is easy:

I'd add that you have to be at least 13 years old to join.

Also, I've added a kind of self-replicating link to my page's billboard.

search to donate December 15, 2006 2:18 AM

At , every search gives about one cent to an organization you can select out of 24,000. They include Mercy Corps and Americas Second Harvest, as well as others like Oxfam or UNICEF. You can search more than once a day, but only in the way you'd use other search engines.  [ send green star]

But please remember the hungry particularly at this day and for all the year start with clicking daily at all the sites mentioned in our thread (or a few of them) at:

Daily clicks for hunger

or remember the one that is clearly an original leader in the clicking fight against hunger, and deals with the world (and with the very country that must eliminate hunger within its own borders and must help eliminate it everywhere else--USA)

or find ones specialized in that area of the world you want most to benefit and have the motivation to do so with daily work in that direction.
