What, Who is a LIGHTWORKER? How do you define LIGHT*WORKER? January 18, 2006 10:11 AM

Hmmmm ... good QUESTION (this Host says to himself) ... What is a "Light Worker?" ... Who are the "LightWorkers?" ... what is a "Light*Worker" -- is that a Meta-Language script, or what?

Yes, good questions.  Post your ANSWERS here now ... IF we are "Light Workers," or "LightWorkers," or "Light*Workers," who are we?

i'm going to take a guess and wing it.

a light worker is someone who shares a profound love and concern for those around them.  be they strangers, family, nature, etc.

this person shares of themselves w/other by being a good friend, listener, sharing insight which may just flow out as good advice.

Sapan,I would like to  thank you for your invitation,I am very grateful but I have difficulties to define a lightworker.. I am a Radiance and Reiki healer.    As Radiance healer ,I  mediate cosmic  divine light and universal unconditional  love .  For that  I would consider myself as mediater  of light  but not  as  light  worker . I  problabely can't  be a member of this group .

 Good question

Is  a lightworker somebody who  works in the light?

or does he makes   goal - oriented use of  light

SO ... let us begin to REFINE THIS PHRASE ... January 29, 2006 7:44 PM

What, indeed, is a Light Worker? ... a phrase in high use these days.

Some Equivalent Phrases is Use in various groups:

"People of Light" ... "Sons and Daughters of the Light" ... "Workers in the Vineyard of the Masters of Light" ... people dedicated to working with the Light Energies, the energies of Higher Consciousness and Healing, energies of the Higher Light!  People that are dedicated to work IN THE LIGHT as opposed to Darkness, if that makes obvious sense.  People of the various orders of MelchizEldech, Melchizedech, Melchisedek and MelchizEldek. In Hebrew, "El" means "Light."  The sacred expression "El El Elyon!" is often used by the Brotherhoods/Sisterhoods of Ligtht to call down a gathering of Light*Workers. The "Light*Workers," phrase, with the asterisk in the middle, is my own spin or contribution, because English does not have the best translations, perhaps, of what we are trying to formulate here.  What are your ideas?  I know that the dictionaries do not help ... YET!  =sapan=

light-bringers February 03, 2006 9:25 PM

Sapan - maybe some would prefer to call themselves 'light-bringers'.

In his message for 2006, JJHurtak writes: 'We as Light bringers need to place this world of events and duality in harmony with the inner kingdom.'

LightWorkers - hmmm .... yes... March 19, 2006 9:39 PM

LightWorker...

What you see is determined by where and how you look.  The assumption is that there is one and only one valid viewpoint.  Typically we assume that we have a static, ultimately *real* self.  We freeze a picture and call the viewpoint our "self" and the image "reality".

The notion of being an embodyment of the Light is therefore as valid as the being one who works with the Light.  Perhaps it is best to playfully manifest the one that works for the task at hand - realizing that there are others.  Nevertheless, there is that which is beyond form, all-pervading, cognizant, compassionate, and possessing the power to benefit beings.

Why so much DISCONNECT & CONFUSION ... Seven Questions. June 04, 2006 2:10 AM

HERE ARE SEVEN QUESTIONS, which I feel may Prime the Pump regarding these general THREAD QUESTIONS,  to wit: What, Who is a LIGHTWORKER? How do you define LIGHT*WORKER?  Thus:

[1] Okay, WHAT, WHO is a Lightworker?

[2] Is the concept of a "Lightworker" different from "Light Worker?"

[3] Is the concept, of say, "Lightworker" a loaded concept that implies an a) "holier-than-though" attitude?  b) "ego separtaion" and "disassociation" event? and c) a confusion and/or state of "dualistic" conceptualizing?

[4] For those that like to think this way, what are the forms of DUALISM with which some a) Denotations and b) Connotations of "Lightworker" DANCE?? [or "MINGLE" (if you like)??], hmmm?

[5] Are there different levels and degrees of "Light" and "Light Workers" or "Lightworkers?"  Do you make a distincion between the term/concept of "Light Worker" & "Lightworker?"

[6] Is a "Lightworker Community" generally have a Hierarchical Structure or is this/that inappropriate?

and [7] How do you define LIGHT*WORKER, and what does the "asterisk" indicate, denote and/or connote, if anything?

<<< Attempt RIGOR, to be more Rigorous!! >>>

AS A CONCLUSION to this post, consider adding some additional questions & commentary in the "MORE QUESTIONS & COMMENTARY "Indices."

Thanks for just being here now. As my friend Baba Ram Das says ... [We're ... STILL HERE!] ... and it is nice, very nice to be STILL and just HEAR!

May all beings be happy and free from suffering!

What is PHILOSOPHY? June 04, 2006 2:11 AM

WHAT IS PHILOSOPHY?  Does that question make any sense?  What in fact is involved with "making sense?"          =sapan=  [ send green star]

Oh boy... June 05, 2006 5:51 AM

Whew, lots of semantics going on here. Lightworkers, Light Workers, Lightbringers...I'm so confused.

What is a lightworker? For the lightworker, it's a personal designation. I could say I am a lightworker and who would have the authority to tell me otherwise? Here's the problem with semantics...those words are like opinions and we all know what opinions are like and we all know who has them. Everybody.

Asking me how I would define lightworker is like asking me how I would define a human. There are as many different viewpoints as there are people to have them. Trying to see truth from another's viewpoint is as limiting as trying to understand the world from inside a black box, it cannot be done.

First of all one must look inside themselves and find our way through the layers. Layer upon layer of experience and environment have formed over time to create this illusion of self that we are so familiar with. The self that reacts to everyday stimuli. The self that reacts with fear, anger, jealousy, distress and even love and joy. Yes, even love, joy and happiness are a part of that illusion that carries us through life everyday. All these emotions are a part of causality. Some event=some reaction. Through these spontaneous events and the resulting reactions, we create the life that we live right now.

Step one is to question authenticity within the self. Though reactions we have to situations may be authentic, the situation itself may be a part of a greater illusion. The situation could be something we have settled for in a past event and some temporary success or failure has given us the illusion that the situation is authentic when only our reaction to it is not.

So we must find if our life is an illusion and we are just reacting to it in an authentic manner based upon what we have settled for or if we are really living authentically.

If we are truly living our purpose then there isn't much to worry about other than how we view the rest of the world because the inner higher perspective has guided us to our present situation.

But if we discover through being uncomfortable with questioning our life as it is, then we must face the probability that we are not living authentically and therefore even though our reactions may be authentic, they are solely based upon an illusion.

Action must be taken at that point. But changing a life that is in place is not an easy task. Willingness depends on what we want out of ourselves. Or another course of action is devaluing some experiences and placing greater value on others. Living this life may not be our most comfortable but comfort doesn't promote change or evolution. We try to find the value in living a life we cannot change but seeing a greater perspective that lies within and without.

In essence, if we can find the authentic perspective first within ourselves...ie getting to know the higher perspective...then the lightworker within us all will emerge and begin sharing the knowledge that it knows by default, not by human experience.

Anything about Lightworkers beyond the self is purely conjecture and should be looked at it as just another kind of drama and entertainment for the human mind.

Let there b brightness! July 13, 2006 10:50 PM

Here is a famous quote to remind you of how truly amazing you are!!

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small doesn't serve the world.
There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so
that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.
We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other
people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,
our presence automatically liberates others."

By Marianne Willamson

Often mistakenly attributed to Nelson Mandela

I feel this says a lot about ourselves,& how difficult it can be to perceive that one is a being of light in the midst of ones fears or doubts etc...I am transmitting light constantly, cant help myself(hehe)

I am not this body or my mind & intellect,I am spirit,& spirit is all that is,soo to me we are all lightworkers..only thing is that soo many of us have'nt in their wildest dreams perceived this (yet)...but I remain hopeful & positive,I know we are made to love...& in my journey of discovering "myself" I had an insight to the light versus the dark..I meditated very deeply & got an answer from both sides(yes) I was told in my innerverse(my mind&heart) that both of these energys DANCE with oneanother,& thats all they do...any bad association one have with ones experiences usually comes from ones attributing negativity to one or even the other...(big smile)...so I love saying shut up & dance All my love to all of you, merrily merrily dance among the stars

Blessings of healing, love&laughters to ALL xxxxxx Fairylicious.

June 04,2006 RE:2:10

1. Who is a "lightworker."   Anyone who wishes for the best Peace and love for everyone.,or who is working toward that goal, regardless of their level at the moment. It is achievable.

2. "Lightworker." seems the aparent one who wants the white light, clearness, calmness, love,(as above.)  Knowing,or working toward helping others attain their highest potential so they in turn, can help a broader amount of people attain the light, and so forth and so forth.  "Lightworker."....literally?  perhaps,it means someone(s) who have achieved or are achieving a "little." specks of light in themselves,in the mists of achieving a higher energy,so they can later help with stronger light to others later in person, human form, or in the spiritual form later.?

3.NO!never!A "holier-than-thow",attitude implies a lower (demonic) or selfish energy, with low ego energy.  This is the level which we are still balanceing the energies,I think? What do our other members think?  In some "religions." or "philosophies." A pure form of good energy should have No "ego." or "self."  No"disassociation." Disassociation I think is more in the psychological "schizophrenia." realm? Dare I ask? "lightworker" has only one calm, clear, blissful, conscious. It is there without the wondering or thinking.,and eminates from mind.

4.Dualism and "lightworker."...That is dualism.Still working toward one spirit. Some things are better left as is.Too much thinking is folly.

5. The answer is above. But together, all our lights will balance eachother. We all need to work together, start our meditations first, make sure we are all clear, calm,et.c

6. Some "Lightworkers Community." members have more positive energy than others, but "hierarchical Structure." sounds like a "power struggle."? ??? Not sure what we can say instead of that word. What do other members think?

7.Don't know.Doesn't make too much difference. Looks like our Care2.com green stars! LOL.(sorry,at this serious time, but some think Iam silly, but that is the goodness in me)

8.Iam not ready for "rigorous." yet! pheeew.Rigorous meditation for example? What caused the muscle contraction in my bran?  I think too much meditation too rigorously. Better to attempt a calm abideing, slow energy at all times! More light will come to us as our lights blend together at the right times.

9. Thank YOU,Gassho,to everyone.

Greetings! July 17, 2006 10:33 PM

I am new to this forum.

I have never identified myself as such, but I know that from the moment I was born and my parents unwittingly named me, Pamela Dawn (meaning Sweet Morning), that I was a vessel for Light and that the transmission of that Light upon others is my mission and destiny.  I have had much opportunity to do and be that transmission and now I dedicate the rest of my life to consciously directing that Light according to the will of the Source of all Light.

Blessings of Love and Light (of course ) upon you all!  There is much for me to learn here.  Thank you for the invitation.

I AM a light worker. When people leave the lights on, I get up and turn them off. What do you think that makes me? a conservative or something?

But there are other light workers as well, so the guy from the Edison Company tells me.

I think anyone who can carry twice their own weight for a considerable distance SHOULD be considered a Light Worker, at least comparatively. And the guy who repairs the space shuttle while it's in orbit is an extremely light worker.

Perhaps the guy who makes three times as much as I do for simply telling me to do something should probably be considered a Light Worker, if he can be considered a worker at all.

But the most miraculous Light Workers are the ones that can make beer less filling...and still taste great.

Please, pardon me for taking a heavy subject and making light of it. My job is done here.

Really ... send the Heliocopter and pick me up. If you have some men & women there above Hilo that are either Light Workers or even Hardly Working people, I can really be a breath of fresh air for all of these sorts of people. Light worker is just a name we give to it. You can also call it ripe fruit. It doesn't distinguish itself from the other fruits by some supernatural trades. It only took the time to ripen. It will be the nourishment of the ones that need nourishment and it will not cling to the sweetness that is part of his nature, but give all he / she is.  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

Hi Sapan, just droped in and thank You for a invite!

According to above - I'm just a human being who emanates "Light" all the time. I like it or not, this is happening naturaly. So, surely I can't call myself a "Light Worker", rather a light worker!
It's only up to myself or rather my SELF what kind of quality of LIGHT I'm projecting around. The Love You Give is The Love You Get!!!
When comes to PHILOSOPHY - it is another "boxy thing", and for that matter I prefer to remain "Silent".

LIGHTWORKER March 11, 2007 9:05 PM

Hello Everyone, my friends and thank you Sapan for the invite to this very interesting group. I have been taking my time to get involved as there are so many threads to read & Catch up on.

Ok I will give this a shot; What, Who is a LIGHTWORKER? How do you define LIGHT*WORKER?

My definition of a Lightworker is "An individual that works with/in the light (TRUTH) as oppossed to; with/in the dark (FALSEHOOD). Bringing light into other souls lives by "Enlightenment" lightening the load, whatever the load maybe; if you can make someone smile/laugh then that is enlightening, just as Zen O did, that was wonderful Zen. (A good deed a day keeps darkness at bay). Throughout time & our lives we humans ARE indoctranated & brainwashed to believe ONLY in the accepted & popular ways of faith & religeon, anything outside those beliefs was/is frowned upon & dissmissed, throughout time this has always been the way, (how many souls have killed as heratics for their beliefs?) however through enlightenment WE all KNOW now that there are other ways. The critical mass is approaching fast & with it we see great changes in the world, i believe this in part to have been facilitated by Lightworkers, I am a lightworker, we are all lightworkers if we work  with/in the light (TRUTH) as oppossed to; with/in the dark (FALSEHOODs).
I also change lightbulbs  & switch off unwanted lights at home

With much love, light & blessings

anonymous Somewhere in this thread it occured to ME.... March 19, 2007 4:15 AM

that we are defining Light*Workers with conditions!  For the record, if I ever offend anyone here please know that my intentions are always to reveal the "Light" or "Truth"...Our gifts and purpose are colorfully different and equally important!  I feel that religion lost it's truth through all the complex issues regarding the core of it and so seperation began!  I was just thinking that it is as simple as "We are the children of Light"    I want to share something that puts a twist on this!  I spent almost 5 years fighting depression and it is the darkest place I have ever known.  The heaviness that weighed me down kept me from LOVING all that this world offered!  That darkness almost killed me emotionally and so I could not be of that!

There is a standard formula for measuring "The Speed of Light"...sounds energetic!  I AM not aware that darkness has a speed only a place to "hang"....Please correct me if I AM wrong as I just can not grasp the absolute truth of Light*Workers!  I can say with integrity that I AM a child of light who has no earthly idea how to regulate it and use it to it's potential of helping/healing others.  I do believe that it has enormously GREAT powers.  I AM not even aware if I have made a difference in my attempts lately of trying to work it through ME or if I have just foolishly missed some key knowledge.  Can anybody who has reached that kind of level give ME some words so that I know that I AM not fooling myself of giving false gifts and hope that are not there?  Is it true to say that Light*Work can only be used for the GOOD of ALL?  I AM not picturing it having the capacity to cause harm! (that would be reassuring)

What is a Lightworker? April 03, 2007 5:34 AM

ESPAVO & Hi Everyone, I thought this worthy of sharing on the subject, if anyone is interested here is a link for a fantastic site which has further insights & help for all lightworkers: http://lightworker.com/

What is a Lightworker?

We are often asked the question of "What is a Lightworker?" There are many e-mails that ask this question. Many people write us asking what they need to do to become a Lightworker. Some of our seminars use the label "Advanced Lightworker Series" and people want to know what prerequisites they have to accomplish to attend. Many times when wearing the Lightworker T-Shirts in public places we get questions like: "What do you do change light bulbs or something?" I usually smile and answer with "something like that."

Of course there are no prerequisites to the seminars and the title of "Lightworker" can only be taken by the conscious choice of each individual. People finding their way to this site somehow instinctively resonate with the word Lightworker. No, we did not invent it, nor do we claim to own it. We simply use it because it clearly states our intent to carry Light to the earth. In a recent channeling from the Group they explained it in these writings

The Group:

"We are once again deeply honored to address this group of masters with the title of Lightworkers. This is a chosen title, and is bestowed to all those requesting to carry it. It reflects a willingness to consciously carry light to planet Earth and this attitude is the only prerequisite. As you know we are reluctant to use titles of any kind. We find humor in the fact that humans place so much importance in titles. We see that oftentimes humans accept messages of questionable integrity because of an elaborate title attached to it. We ask you to give the attention to the love content of the message and use your own discernment to all information that enters your field. This is the greatest expression of the God within each of you and will help you maintain your balance in these times. We tell you that even with this aversion to titles we are in fact honored to call ourselves Lightworkers. In place of using this title to place us on some imaginary ladder, we use it as an affirmation of our intent. We invite you all to do the same."

The Healing Power of Lightworkers January 10, 2005 3:48 PM

by Doreen Virtue, Ph.D.

Lightworkers are those who volunteered, before birth, to help the planet and
its population heal from the effects of fear. Each lightworker is here for a
sacred purpose. Very often, however, life on earth with its material focus
creates a form of amnesia in lightworkers. They then forget their divine and
perfect identities, and also their abilities to miraculously help the earth
and all living creatures. When lightworkers forget their true identity and
purpose, they feel lost and afraid.
Everywhere on the planet right now, lightworkers are awakening to faint
memories about why they came to earth. They hear an inner calling that can't
be ignored. This call is a reminder that it is now time to stop toying with
material dreams, and get to work.

Many lightworkers are discovering innate spiritual gifts, such as psychic
communication skills and spiritual healing abilities. These are the gifts
that we volunteered to use to heal the earth and her population during the
crucial decades surrounding the millennium. Prophecies predicted our coming,
and now it is time for us to fulfill our divine purposes. The world depends
upon us!

We, who are lightworkers, don't necessarily need to add anything to
ourselves to prepare for our mission. We already have innate abilities, even
if they are presently dormant. Instead, we need to work on releasing fears
which keep us from feeling confident in our lightworker abilities. When you
remind yourself that your power as a lightworker comes from your higher self
and God, not from "you," automatically you feel more assured of your
abilities as a spiritual healer.

With our focused intent, thought, and spirit, we can heal anything. There
are no limits, except those we place upon our healing abilities. We
definitely can heal the earth with our spiritual approach. In fact,
scientists have recently demonstrated that people can change water and air
temperature and also cloud structures, purely through their thoughts.
Researchers have known for years that prayer positively affects plants and
animals. Lightworkers' collective prayers and healing thoughts can avert
prophecies of world trauma.

Continued... January 10, 2005 3:49 PM

There is only one spirit and one mind, and we are all part of this
collective intelligence and love. Miraculous results in scientific
laboratories are demonstrating the factual basis of the oneness of all life.
Last year, U.S. and Japanese scientists hooked-up test subjects to blood
pressure and heart monitor machines. Simultaneously, in separate and sealed
rooms, other test subjects were asked to think loving or angry thoughts
about the people hooked-up to the machines. At the exact instant when a
subject held a loving thought, the monitored person's blood pressure and
heart rate significantly dropped. And then, at the precise moment when an
angry thought was projected, the person's vital signs sky-rocketed upward.

We who are lightworkers are already aware of the power of our thoughts. What
we are continuing to learn, however, is that our thoughts are even more
powerful than we suspected! A large part of our lightworker function, then,
is to continuously monitor our own thoughts to ensure they are from a high
and loving plane. When we occasionally slip into fearful or judgmental
thoughts, we can release these thought forms to the angels which surround
us, knowing that these spiritual companions want to help us fulfill our
sacred purpose.

If your intuition is urging you towar  [report anonymous abuse]  [ accepted]

Hugs AnneMarie May 21, 2007 9:37 AM

Here is the remainder of that post with a bit more:

If your intuition is urging you toward a healing function, you can be sure that this is a Divine voice and not just wishful thinking.  During the last several years, a spiritual call has been broadcast like a psychic "help wanted" ad asking for lightworkers to awaken to their healing roles.

We cannot fail when we accept the mission we choose for ourselves prior to incarnation.  The power and intelligence of the One mind makes not mistakes.  We would not have been assigned our lightworker role, were we not perfectly qualified. Since we are made in the image and likeness of One who is all-knowing, all-loving, and able to heal anything, we can relax in the sure knowledge that we were born to heal.

Healing is very important.  The mind is more powerful than the body.  It can affect healing on others who are afflicted in some way, or rather it can channel Cosmic Energy to the one needing healing.

Humility is an important aspect of healing - to recognize that we are not the doer, that there is only one that heals, and that is God, Divine Mercy, Cosmic Energy, etc... different names for the same healing principle.

We must heal ourselves, spiritually first, then mentally and physically, if we are to be effective in healing others.  Also we must understand the divine laws of healing which allows the healing energy to flow freely from the Divine Mercy into the world.  Most prayer is ineffectual because it is repeated in a mechanical wrote way.  Almost nobody knows the spiritual laws of healing, but people are awakening to them, thanks to a line of generous souls who have incarnated for the purposes of uplifting humanity.

We are all indeed born with a divine mission ... to express our Divinity in some unique way, before returning to Spirit from whence we came.  Almost without exception, we are sidetracked and lost to our divine purpose.  People are indeed waking to an awareness of their destiny, in greater and greater numbers.

The soul wants to express it's innate qualities.  As a reflection of Spirit, the soul possesses all the qualities of the one Spirit – immortality, omnipotence, omnipresence, bliss ... etc.  But most people make a colossal blunder owing to the shroud of ignorance, and try to have these qualities manifest here on earth.  Hence, you have people who are looking to keep the body alive a long time (immortality), people who seek to spread their ideas and influence to the corners of the world -  conquerors (omnipresence) and  lovers who seek and desire divine love but settle for looking for fulfillment in another person, usually romantic love.  It is an expression of the desire for souls to seek out their innate unity in others.

The greatest love is expressed through selfless service to those in need ... in need of healing, of love, of nurturing ... the souls of most are sick with loneliness, emptiness, an emptiness worse than physical poverty.  Mother Theresa thought the U.S. was particularly poor in this aspect.

I just received this and wanted to share:

The Lightworkers' Identity

Lightworkers are souls who carry the strong inner desire to spread Light (knowledge, freedom and self-love) on earth.
They sense this as their mission.
They are often attracted to spirituality
and to therapeutic work of some kind.

Because of their deeply felt mission,
lightworkers often feel different from other people.
By experiencing different kinds of obstacles on their way, life provokes them to find their own, unique path.
Lightworkers nearly always are solitary individuals,
not fitting into fixed societal structures.

The word `lightworker' may evoke misunderstanding,
since it lifts out a particular group of souls from the rest.
In addition, it may be taken to suggest
that this particular group is somehow superior to the others, i.e. those `not working for the light'.
This whole line of thought is at odds
with the very nature and intent of lightwork.
Let us state briefly what is wrong with it.

First, claims of superiority are generally unenlightened.
They block your growth toward a free and loving consciousness.
Second, Lightworkers are not `better' or `higher' than anyone else.
They simply have a different history
than the ones not belonging to this group.
Because of this particular history,
they have certain psychological characteristics
which distinguish them as a group.

Third, every soul becomes a lightworker at some stage
of its unfolding, so the label `lightworker'
is not reserved to a limited number of souls.

The reason we use the word "lightworker"
(despite possible misunderstandings)
is because it carries associations and stirs memories
within you that help you remember.
There is a practical convenience to it as well,
since the term is frequently used in your current spiritual literature.

Historical roots of lightworkers

Lightworkers carry within them the ability
to attain spiritual awakening faster than other people.
They carry inner seeds for a rapid spiritual awakening.
With regard to this, they seem to be on a faster track
than most people, if they choose so.
This, again, is not because lightworkers
are in any way `better' or `higher' souls.
They are, however, older than most souls
presently incarnate on earth.
This older age should preferably be understood
in terms of `experience', rather than `time'.

Lightworkers have reached a particular stage of enlightenment, before they incarnate on earth and start their mission.
They consciously choose to become entrenched
in the `karmic wheel of life' and to experience all forms of confusion and illusion that go with it.

They do this in order to fully understand `earth experience'.
This will enable them to fulfil their mission.
Only by going through all stages of ignorance and illusion themselves~
will they eventually own the tools to help others
achieve a state of true happiness and enlightenment.

Outline of Psychological characteristics of lightworkers:
A few characteristics of lightworker souls,
which generally distinguish them from other people~

From early on in their life, they feel they are different.
More often than not, they feel isolated from others,
lonely and misunderstood.
They will often become individualists,
who will have to find their own unique ways in life.

They have trouble feeling at home within traditional jobs and/or organization structures.
Lightworkers are naturally anti-authoritarian,
which means they naturally resist decisions or values
based solely on power or hierarchy.
This anti-authoritarian trait is present
even if they seem timid and shy.
It is connected to the very essence of their mission here on earth.

Lightworkers feel drawn to helping people,
as a therapist or as a teacher.
They may be psychologists, healers, teachers, nurses, etcetera.
Even if their profession is not about helping people in a direct manner,
the intent to contribute to the higher good of humanity is clearly present.

Their vision of life is colored by a spiritual sense
of how all things are related together.
They consciously or subconsciously carry memories within them of non-earthly spheres of light.
They may - occasionally - feel homesick
for these spheres and feel like a stranger on earth.

They deeply honour and respect life,
which often manifests as a fondness for animals
and a concern for the environment.
The destruction of parts of the animal and vegetable kingdom on earth by man's doing invokes deep feelings of loss and grief in them.

They are kind-hearted, sensitive and empathic.
They may have trouble dealing with aggressive behaviour  and they generally experience difficulties
in standing up for themselves.
They can be dreamy, naïve or highly idealistic,
as well as insufficiently grounded, i.e. down-to-earth.
Because they easily pick up (negative) feelings
and moods of people around them, it is important for them to spend time alone on a regular basis.
This enables them to distinguish between their own feelings and those of others.
They need solitary time to touch base with themselves and with mother earth.

 May 25, 2007 7:23 AM

They have lived many lives on earth in which they were deeply involved with spirituality and/or religion.
They were present in overwhelming numbers
in the old religious orders of your past,
as monks, nuns, hermits, psychics, witches,
shamans, priests, priestesses, etcetera.
They were the ones providing a bridge
between the visible and the invisible,
between the daily context of earth-life
and the mysterious realms of the afterlife,
of God and the spirits of good and evil.
For fulfilling this role, they were often rejected and persecuted.
Many of you were sentenced to the stake
for the gifts you possessed.
The traumas of persecution left deep traces
within your soul's memory.
This may presently manifest as a fear of being fully grounded, i.e. a fear to be really present,
because you remember being brutally attacked
for who you were.

Because of the values and judgments fed to them by society, which often go against their own natural impulses, many Lightworkers have gotten lost,
ending up in states of self-doubt, self-denial and even depression and hopelessness.
This is because they cannot fit into the established order of things and they conclude there must be something terribly wrong with them~
this is a horrible sabbatoge technique~
that must be released~
It requires great determination and perseverance
on the inner level to overcome these patterns
of self doubt and denial.

What lightworkers have to do at this point
is to stop looking for validation from the outside,
from parents, friends or society.
At some point of time, you (who are reading this)
will have to take the momentous leap to true empowerment, which means to really believe in yourself and to truly honor and act upon your natural inclinations and your inner knowing.
Stop looking for validation outside yourself~
and know that you are a Divine and magnificent
Being of Light~
This is very important~
Seek your validation from within yourself~
listen to your intuition and trust~

Lightworkers at this point in history~
stand on the brink of assisting the birthing of humanity into a higher order of evolution~
They will take part in the expansion and enlightenment~
of humankind into higher levels of intelligence~
They will act as co-creators of humanity~
helping to re-birth the process of ascension~
into multi-level dimensions of time and space~

In the process of creation, it is up to each and every one of us~as Lightworkers~
to step powerfully into our Divine Inheritance~
and to use our Powers for the expansion back into light~
You are invited to do so, invited by a higher Source of Identity~
and in that acknowledgment and acceptance~
You my friends will take on a responsibility~
of partnership with the Whole~
You inherit responsibility~
when you hold knowledge of the Divine Presence~

The real truth has been hidden from us
so we would eventually remember and discover
who we really are~
We are great immortal beings
of universal knowledge and wisdom,
closely connected to our physical brothers and sisters in space, closely connected with our brothers and sisters in the spiritual realms.
Our Spirit Guides are close to us at all times~
all we have to do~ is to call them ~
and they will be there for us~

In the very near future~
full consciousness will return to many of us,
and in that moment of awareness of why we are here,
what we are to do in the future,
and what our past lives have been
will come before our eyes~
and we will know the truth of our Divine Purpose~
here upon our Beloved Mother Earth~

Overcoming Lightworker Syndrome

Lightworker Syndrome is a lack of acceptance of one's power. That lack of acceptance is what manifests the apparent conflict between connectedness to Source and groundedness in physical reality. As within, so without. Your inner conflict manifests in your external reality. In truth you are simply getting what you're intending. You fear your real power, so you silently intend it to remain dim. This manifests a never-ending series of distractions to keep you preoccupied enough that you don't have to think about what you're really doing ¡ª keeping yourself small because you're afraid of too much responsibility.

If you recognize you're suffering from Lightworker Syndrome right now, I have a lot of compassion for you. Having gone through it myself, I know how hard it is. But you must recognize you'll never solve this problem at the same level of thinking that created it. Realize you're the one who's manifesting the annoying health problems, the 'unexpected' financial crisis that suddenly wipes out your savings just when you start to get ahead, the unfulfilling relationship, etc. You're manifesting all of it because you're resonating with fear ¡ª it's one giant distraction. You can hack at the branches all you want, but you'll only be spinning your wheels. Whenever you're ready, you have the power to turn off those petty problems and stop manifesting them, but once you do that, you're going to have to deal with the real issue of why you're here. Deep down you know that's the truth, don't you?

The major turning point for me occurred when I finally surrendered and said, "Enough already! I'm done with living small. I'm tired of dealing with one pointless crisis after another. I know this isn't what I came here to do. I don't know if I can handle what might happen if I tap into my real potential, but I can't accept going my whole life without finding out. So I'm going for it. If I go broke, I go broke. But if I go this route in good faith, the universe had damned well better back me up."
I have to credit the results of the past two years to that decision. That's what cured me of Lightworker Syndrome. Once I experienced the inner shift, I entered that positive spiral where my connectedness and groundedness supported each other beautifully. Attracting more money and a larger audience just means I have a greater capacity to give. And I'm always finding new ways for my connectedness and groundedness to move into better harmony with each other.

If you consider yourself a lightworker, understand that your real work is to accept and embrace your inner light. You are meant to shine, not to be snuffed out. If you feel that life in this physical universe is dragging you down, it's because you aren't yet in vibrational harmony with your light. The more you fear it, the more you'll attract distracting problems that have little or nothing to do with your purpose. But whenever you're ready, you can say to the universe, "OK. I'm ready. I'm going to pursue my purpose with all my heart and soul, and you'd better back me up." Once you make a committed decision, you'll attract all the help and resources you need. You'll be shocked at just how easy it is.

You came here to do some serious good for this planet, so get busy and go do it. You're not fooling anyone by standing still. You're responsible to do what you came here to do whether you do it or not. And if you're going to be responsible, you might as well accept and embrace the power to do something about it. Staying small serves no one, least of all you. This planet needs you now, not tomorrow¡ not someday. Don¡¯t let us down, and especially don't let yourself down.

I can only speak from my perspective~ October 29, 2007 11:23 AM

I call myself a LightWorker because I AM a piece of the Divine Source Energy. For me being a LightWorker has to do with my vibrational level and what I do with the powerful energies that I possess. Part of every day's focus is for me to keep my vibrational level high.

As an example, when I heard about the fires in So. CA I imagined calm moisture and seeing fires going out. I ask Spirit to Co-Create healing energy and send it through me to wherever it is needed on Earth. I imagine it going to various continents and imagine in my mind people getting along and coexisting in pease. I visualize all of our animal companions on earth, in the air, and in the sea having fresh air and all they need to be happy and comfortable.

For me being a LightWorker is all about my Inner life. Everything that I need, need to know, or do is already inside of me along with the power to manifest my heart's desires .... it is up to me to find the metaphysical key. To be rather than to do. To imagine and manifest rather than trying to control my physical environment. To keep my vibrational level high enough to bring about those things I desire.

I think one of the metaphysical keys that I have as a LightWorker is *intent*! My thoughts and emotions need to align (hence I believe the agent masters telling us we need to master our emotions and master our thoughts) at a vibrational level to bring about my heart's desire. My tool is meditation. But I believe that my Intent is more powerful than I can imagine, and I try to remind myself of that.

I believe that everyone is a LightWorker. I believe that everyone's soul on the other side of the veil is Totally Perfect. I believe we come here as volunteers as part of the Grand Experiment. Will we discover and use our Divine Gifts? For example, I truly believe if we want world peace enough, if we think about it enough, if we desire with love and meditate upon it, it is within our power to bring it about. As long I myself am feeling peaceful. I can't "wish" for world peace and not be feeling peaceful.

One person using their connection to Source and the Light will always be more powerful than one is disconnected from Source. Personally, I believe that the "problem" in some countries is that we have more people cut off than connected who are spending enough time focused upon the "negative" that their energies bring what they don't want to reality.

As the new generation of "Indigo" children grow up and into positions of "power" I believe we will have less tolerance for corruption, etc., and that the new world order, whether the Myans or others talked about, will be a world more oriented toward peace.

Some people have not connected to the idea that we are all LightWorkers. That is okay because everyone doesn't need to use their powers ... for the percentage of LightWorkers who are "conscious" is enough .... what is happening now is "enough" ... as the Earth's vibrational level continues to rise. But as the Earth's vibrational energies continue to rise, I believe that more and more people will come awake to their gifts and powers and feel more comfortable using them.

For me being a LightWorker is about using my unlimited resources, through my Inner life, to raise the vibrational level of Earth, and eventually the entire Universe.

What Kryon says October 31, 2007 7:36 AM

about being a LightWorker:

"If you want the answer as to how to exist within your 'Lightworker suit,' I'll tell you:

" Love yourself to the degree that you're no longer in drama about anything.

" Become so peaceful with your life and your situations that you can co-create anything you need in appropriateness.

" Send light to dark places, for you are powerful. Let your light shine so that others may see in areas where they didn't before. Take quiet 'alone time' for this.

" Never be concerned that you may not be helping anyone, for you are.

" Never tell anyone what you believe unless they ask.

" Never give anyone a Kryon book unless they ask."

wow...what a question, so many forms of lightworkers, given so many forms of DNA. i would say, anyone who BRINGS LIGHT, LOVE, JOY, BLISS, AWAKENING, LAUGHTER, CONNECTION TO THE DIVINE, ultimately, is a lightworker.

in my own life i have met so many, and been one of myriad forms at different times, seemingly meant to transmute, given the situation, the person, the time, the purpose.  all i know is i was born to be one, breath to breath, with God/dess, in service of this wondrous force of Being.
