Vibraceous N.	This is a Lesson for ALL! May 03, 2008 1:27 PM This is a video of one of a homeless man in Santa Barbara and his pets. They work State Street every week for donations. The animals are pretty well fed and are mellow. They are a family. The man who owns them rigged a harness up for his cat so she wouldn't have to walk so much (like the dog and himself). At some juncture the rat came along, and as no one wanted to eat anyone else, the rat started riding with the cat and, often, on the cat! The dog, will stand all day and let you talk to him and admire him for a few chin scratches. The Mayor of Santa Barbara filmed this clip and sent it out as a holiday card. See for yourself what the common practices are. This is cruelty we can do something about! This is an excellent presentation, done with pure Martha style! I was absolutely appalled this evening because a friend of a family member gave my daughter a mink headband to wear in her hair. I had an absolute fit! I did not get to speak with this person directly...but she will be getting a copy of this video from me with a note about the inapproapriateness of giving murdered corpses to somebody's child. The really sad thing is that this woman is the editor of a high-end New York fashion magazine. Please watch this video. You will be utterly shocked at what you see. People need to realize...the fur industry is not regulated like other animal agricultural industries are, and there are even problems with those...but this trade has no restrictions at all. The animals can be killed in horrible, horrible ways. People think it's just in other countries...it's not! It's right here in the good ol' US of A. Thank you for taking the time. Vibraceous P.S.
