marathon to save 22 dogs from high kill shelter! Please crosspost! July 07, 2007 6:22 AM

A dear woman named Karen is able to take a stock trailer all the way from Delaware to Chesterfield, SC where 22 dogs have been kept alive just for this transport.See some of the dogs at www.petfinder.com/shelter/SC94.html. She is one of the few who has been able to save these dogs after numerous attempts by many of us.. If you can get down to the shelter yourselves, please email pawsnclawscfield@yahoo.com and tell the humane person on duty there whose name is also Karen so she can make a time to meet you there!. Please please put even just $5 into this paypal account so that Karen can withdraw the money to fund this very expensive trip to save these dogs. Go to www.paypal.com and click on "send money" Send to .cwood99478@aol.com. . you can say it is for services. Enter your amount and click.. Please email kamajicrested@yahoo.com (Karen in Delaware) when you have done so and tell her how much you entered. We are having a marathon and we only have until Sunday midnight to fund Karen's trip down from Delaware all the way to Chesterfield, SC. so tell all your friends, forward to everyone you know, and send to all your online groups!!!! Thanks for passing the word on this tragic emergency! The dogs will all be killed within days if not rescued Monday. There are so many nice animals there that you might see cats or other kinds of dogs you might want to save too. 65 dogs and 30 cats were gassed slowly and painfully this morning at this high kill shelter. Many puppies do not make it long in overcrowded conditions. They always have lots of puppies. Please please send Karen some little bit of money so she can save these beautiful dogs that she is going down for...There are aussies, aussie mixes, a border collie, corgi, collie mix pups, rottie pups, cattledogs, a crystal blue eyed choc lab, and many others. Pass the word. Crosspost widely. Thank you in advance from all of us who are praying so hard for these babies, mommies, and great dogs! If you want to call the person at the actual shelter who is in charge of pulling the animals for their humane society, please call Karen at 843-378-0016. Email her at pawsnclawscfield@yahoo.com Peace and all good, Barbara Jo Matson, Director Special Pets Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation Center 501(c)(3) Coordinator of emergency at Chesterfield Shelter  [ send green star]  [ accepted]
