If anyone can help me I really need help learning about how to stream.

I have shoutcast and set it up and followed the directions but could not get it to work , I also know i can stream using Winamp or my video player i use, but i do not know how to get it going.

I know I wish to set up a play list and then stream the playlist.

 But how do i know if it is streaming?

If antone can help me set up a setation video or even radio i would greatly appreciate it.

I just downloaded Sam Broadcaster. I got it up and running but now i need to find a place i can stream from or find out how much i can stream

I will share the file with anyone who wants it.

 Or download it through bittorrents look for sam broadcaster. This gives you everything you need to setup a radio station exceppt for streaming it. It directs you to a site that you have to pay for bandwith to stream.

I finally did it!!!

I got some script to stream on to a webpage then what i did was download a server.

Through the server I can play the music as long as the server is up and running.

 Now to keep people from entering your website through your server you wish to keep them far away soo this is what i propose to do

 I have the stream page on my server what I do is make a frames page and call the stream page to the frames page which will be in my main website server which is fortune city.

So now when people go to my main website fortune city. They click on streams or music link and what comes up is a framed page which calls the radio stream from my server.

Now the only bummer is i can only play playlists which means the users do not get to choose the music only a selection from a playlist.

 So how do you get a radio station out of this.

What you do is make a playlist

using winamp or realplayer or such.

How you get you into it is by making 1 or 2 minutes wav files with yourself talking and add it to the playlist in between the music this will give the user a sound like radio with music and dj mix.

Right now i am working on the frames page and then once i get that working i can put it up on my site.

I am going to do a frame page with three frames

frame1 is Streams

frame2   Chat

Frame 3  My blog is a marquee format

If anyone wants the code for the streamer and help in doing this I will be glad to help out.
