Off to Tucson!!!! January 31, 2005 8:36 AM

Well folks, I'm almost ready packing, and heading east to Tucson tomorrow and will be there for two weeks. It's an annual trip that I’ve been doing since the 80's and I always look forward to it. The city transforms into "the Beaders Paradise" for the month of February and you'll find Gems, Beads, Jewelry and supply shows on every corner. The weather's usually in the 70's and the city's just gorgeous. * So excited* For all my breading friends who are attending, enjoy yourselves and be sure to post your “finds” when your back. That sounds so cool! You will have to share the story of your trip when you come back.  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

Ohhhh!! i'm so envious!!! :) Have fun, buy lots of beads and if you have a chance stop by The Windmill Inn. My husband has a full line of his glass work being represented by Alana's Gifts at The Whole Bead show there feb 2-7. He has some crazy fun eye candy to look at! One of these days i hope to get to the Tuscan show, although i think i'd probably be so overwhelmed i have a complete sensory overload. We'll be at the Atlanta Interglalactic show this coming weekend, not near as exciting as Tuscan....but i get to buy some new beads none the less!! :) Happy Beading, ~tree  [ send green star]  [ accepted]
Hey Fellow Beaders!!! February 18, 2005 9:15 AM

I'm back from Tucson and I'm allready looking forward to next year's trip. The weather was kinda wierd, cold and rainy on most days but the tents were full of people and creative energy, thousands of people from all around the world, buying and selling, sharing ideas and resources, It was just amasing. I was busy selling most of the time which limited my time to hunt for some new stuff but i was able to squeeze in a couple of hours to walk the hall and get some new beads. Here's a pic of some of the beads got, though have not decided what to make with them yet. Tree, how was Atlanta?  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

Ohhh... i need to find something to wipe the drool off my chin!! Beautiful sparklies!! Look like you got some wonderful gemstones. i would love to get a closer look on those butterflies. What stones are they made from? Atlanta was good show, a few less venders than usual though. i managed to come home without any new beads. :( Just couldn't find quite what i was looking for. Hopefully i'll have better luck at our next show. i've been neglecting my beads lately, because i'm totally bored and unispired by the beads i have...i need something new to mix it up a bit. :) i heard Tucson was great!! i really hope to get there someday!!
