Masequality plea for help October 12, 2006 12:05 PM

Mass Equality Please Read, Take Action and Forward Dear Melody, Electing pro-equality candidates in Massachusetts this year is a critically important part of our campaign to protect the nation's first (and so far only) equal marriage rights. Just two days after voters go to the polls, Massachusetts legislators will vote on a proposed constitutional amendment to ban same-sex marriage. Pro-equality victories on election day will give us momentum as we head into this decisive vote. Now, there's one website where you can take action to help elect pro-equality candidates -- SupportEquality.org. At this one site, you can contribute to some of the pro-equality candidates facing the most difficult elections this November, including gubernatorial candidate and outspoken advocate for equality Deval Patrick. Please visit www.SupportEquality.org today to see how you can help outstanding pro-equality candidates! With one simple transaction, you can make donations to all of these great candidates at once or pick the ones you want to support. Whether you want to make a contribution to the Deval Patrick campaign or contribute to the entire slate of pro-equality candidates, you can do it all at SupportEquality.org. While the list of candidates included at SupportEquality.org is not exhaustive, all of the listed candidates need your help today. You can find out more about other pro-equality candidates with difficult races by emailing feedback@massequality.org, and all of MassEqualitys endorsed candidates and pro-equality legislators will also be listed on the MassEquality PAC website, which we are planning to launch next week. Again, I hope you will check out this exciting tool today and help elect pro-equality candidates in Massachusetts. Thank you, Marc Solomon Campaign Director MassEquality.org was formed as a coalition dedicated to ensuring that the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court decision on marriage equality is upheld, and that any anti-gay amendment or legislation is defeated. MassEquality.org values its relationship with you. If you do not want to receive our updates, please visit http://www.MassEquality.org/action/unsubscribe.php.
