Wow, Pauline... how nice it is to have a NEW FRIEND drop in!! The CARIBBEAN? Wow again! Looks like you will be enjoying cool drinks and bathing suits instead of winter jackets and boots! I hope you come back and see us and let us know what your Christmas is/was like. And a big WELCOME!!
Remember the "magical" feelings?
Have a great Christmas everyone, greetings from the Caribbean.
Lynn, what did you do for Hanukkah?
Hi Mary - yep, we finally got snow and it was beautiful for the day we had it before it washed away in the rain. Ha ha ha.... do the cute polar bears come with the snow you will send me? What a cute pic. Sorry to hear it's wet and foggy.... I know exactly what that's like as we had one today... and I know we're going to get many more.
Christmas is coming so fast! I just love our little tree (not a real one). We're had it since my son was a baby and they don't make them that well any more. The lights and decorations are so colourful and really help on these days.
CHRISTMAS IS MY MOST FAVOURITE TIME OF THE YEAR!!
I think this rendition done by a young Michael Jackson is sooooooo toe-tapping! I just can't help but sing loudly along with it. It may make a few people around me cringe a bit, but it's MY song when I'm singing it and it makes me happy! Yippee... I love it!
So.... I'm bringing in the mince tarts!!
I'm gaining weight just looking at the picture!!
NOT LONG TO GO! THE TIME IS COMING AND GOING SO FAST!
I guess everyone is busy doing their Christmas things because I seem to be the only one playing in this "room."
I found this cute animated skating pic and I can't stop staring at it! It's kinda hypnotic.
I wish I could do this. If you watch it long enough it appears that she changes legs in her turning.
Winter can be so wonderfully beautiful. I love a snowy day (especially when I don't have to drive in it).
Awwww.... those are such cute glasses of wine with their little Christmas hats on! LOL. Thanks Mary... I could do with a nice glass of red wine right now!
one glasss for Cheryl and Lynn and one for me
Awwww, thanks Mary! I love that picture with those two beauties! Hmmm, that could be a nice red wine pouring into my teacup. lol
Here are a few Christmas goodies to have with tea.
this one reminded me of you Cheryl birds and a cuppa hugs
My neighbour family has just started to enjoy their Hanukkah celebrations and the kids (ages 8 and 6) look so excited!
I am - right now this minute - looking at a wee bird on our bird feeder outside our back window and it brings a big smile to my face. It is pouring rain and miserable out, so it's great they have a dry place to go for some food. After posting this I'm going to put more wash in then go read one of my books. Will also fit in a meditation time today (15-20 mins) and TRY to walk on the treadmill for at least 10 mins. Who knows... I may just stay with my book. We'll see!
Hope everyone's having a happy day!
Cup of tea (better known as a "cuppa") and some cookies, anyone?
It's that most wonderful time of the year! Let's celebrate! The last ten days are countdown. What's everyone doing for Christmas/Hanukkah? Shopping all done?
I absolutely LOVE the little tree we have up and decorated. The days are dreary, dark, and raining but the tree lights really affect one's mood and make it brighter than it would be otherwise.
Don't forget to feed the birds! Lynn, even though you don't get a winter with snow, rain, ice and gloom you can still feed the birds on the beach. lol
So many people have their lights on their houses and balconies and it's getting really pretty around here.
Santa is coming soon... Yippee!!
Have you been naughty or nice?
