Hi everyone. I clicked on the lower box shown under the web-cam we are watching the two owlets and got this:

xx

It's obvious she isn't an OWL -- looks like a momma sparrow (?) probably sitting on eggs. So sweet! I think it goes off early in evening as I tried again and there wasn't anything there. Will try again tomorrow. I think this cam moves around.

Here's our two fuzzies tonight (7:30 p.m.). Lots of new feathers coming in. Honestly, the one on the right seems to only want to SLEEP! lol

Here's the last one I took last night with a little figure sitting at the doorway. So cute!

There are more adult feathers in the nest today so we know at least one parent arrived to see them and bring yummies.

Hi Barb and Mary - glad you found these little fellas. Boy, they sure have given me some laughs when I watched them yesterday and last night.

GREAT screenshot Mary! They were waiting for food last night when I last looked in. Doesn't he or she look somber? Or maybe he is full after getting food, or maybe he's saying, "It's no use, they're not coming and we're going to starve to death!" LOL

After seeing those gorgeous little owlets that Barb posted, I had to see if any web-cam owlets were operating. I found these two fuzzy wuzzies and have been watching and laughing on and off all day. What a hoot they are (pun intended).

It's 7:40 p.m. as I type this and a whole lot of owl sounds are going on (sort of hissing, but really sounds like someone blowing their nose!).  One nest this year had EIGHT owlets but one didn't survive. This nest had two eggs that weren't viable. I've never seen just two owlets. Boy, they sure have room to flap and hop around and have been doing crazy funny things all day. They have very long wing spans and their adult feathers are popping out in their wings and tails. But their BABY ANTICS are obvious.

Here's some of what I saw today. The one on the right was mostly in a fuzzy white ball all day. I think that's Hunter.

What a handsome figure! lol  She fell over on her little butt when trying to stand on one leg.
