THANKS BARB! We haven't had a Puffin baby before so I thought we could keep track of her (she's been named Hope). Imagine what it takes to feed that baby with that big beak!
I could only get a screenshot of baby sleeping so I'll have to keep trying.
I spoke too soon. Can you imagine that tiny beak growing into the big colourful one like her parents? Amazing.
Oh Cheryl so wonderful you are well enough to enjoy the Puffin Cam!!! Thank you for your beautiful pictures! Love and big hugs. Barb, Baby, Beenie
Cheryl how is your little Bibby doing?
Barb what a little sweetie
HI Mary I love him, too. He is so cute and I try to look every day and evening at him and his parents. They show up in the dark!
Hi Barb and Mary! So glad you are enjoying looking in on little Hope. Isn't she/he the cutest?! Sorry for my comment above about the feeding... we have watched so many eagles that I forgot these birds are not meat-eaters.
So glad your Baby and Beenie are happy and well, Barb. My little guy, being a senior at 23, is doing pretty good although he is blind in one eye from a cataract. It was a slow process so he had time to adjust and compensate. Thank God the other eye is okay. He sleeps a lot in this hot weather.
Here's some shots I was lucky to get today. I haven't seen a parent yet and am sure looking forward to that.
hee hee hee.... she's so sleepy she's just rocking back and forth.
Little Hope gets an unexpected visitor (caught on tape)!!! Looks like this chick from another nest nearby got to wandering and ended up at Hope's place. Hope goes into hiding in the hole on the right side, where the visiting chick seems to finally exit. He is obviously calling for his momma!
LOL aaaaawawwwwww Thank you for letting us know Cheryl. So adorable!
