Well, being a co-host in any group constitutes a commitment to that group and its subject. It would certainly help to know what this group is about and it would help if you are interested in what Deep Griha does. This group needs someone active as co-host not only to moderate and watch over discussions, but to instigate them.

Kuba - you've done a great service! Thank you all for joining - and apologies for the lack of action. I have been away on a documentary project of my own and have my hands quite full at the moment.
The Deep Griha team are extremely busy too - as you might imagine, their work is both physically and mentally taxing...
I am looking for someone here who'd be willing to take on the role of intermediary between this group and Deep Griha themselves. Get the ball rolling on finding out ways we can raise awareness, promote the organization and its goals - and basically get people around the world talking about it. This is an ideal platform!
So if anyone would like to take on the role of co-host - please let me know!
Our church supports another project in India, the Nereekshe ('Hope') village, which is doing great work in ending poverty there and supplying sustainable living, education and housing, etc.
My husband and I plan to go there for a while, maybe a year or so, to do our bit. He will be working with the deaf children there whilst I shall be concentrating on both the locals and their wildlife!
Deep Griha is a wonderful project. The spirit and drive of those who are involved is very humbling. I hope I can do something to help, however small - it all adds up! It would be great if we could also visit Deep Griha whilst we're in India. I'll have to look into it!
Well ladies and gentlemen... April 24, 2006 11:37 AM
We are now 24! The group's wheels will start turning when the Deep Griha team and associates are assembled - so keep checking in, and pass the word around as well!
Hans - I for one, when I've got the time and the green light - ;) - would love to come visit Deep Griha and help teach the kids something, although I'm not sure what a wildlife filmmaker could contribute - some budding documentary-makers or photographers maybe???
Anyway glad to have you here - I'll keep steering until you're ready to take over the driver's seat!

Hey guys...firstly Charith, thank youfor setting this up for us.
And to the others that have joined this group. All of us at Deep Griha are very happy to have you joined our dance.
Its not an easy dance, and over the next few weeks, months even, if you follow what happens here you'll find out for yourself.
To those of you based in India, or have plans of travelling to India, I encourage you to come visit us in Pune. See first hand the issues we work with.
Dear Agnes - thanks so much for coming here. I know you've got your hands full with your own wonderful group - so thanks for showing your support!

Say Hello - and join the Dance! April 19, 2006 11:18 AM
Please stop by here and introduce yourselves - we hope that this group can become an online community of friends from near and far, who are here to learn more about the Deep Griha dream, help raise awareness about their mission - and join in a wonderful dance of life that hasn't stopped for over 30 years!
As this group grows, members of the Deep Griha staff will drop by from time to time (as you can imagine they almost always have their hands full!). So look out for updates, news, stories, and feel free to ask questions. Welcome!
