One thing I've learned through my work with Nourish America is that oftentimes, contrary to what you might expect, the kids who need the most nutritional support - whether it be through vitamins or other supplements - are actually overweight. This isn't the malnutrition that you're used to reading about, probably, but it does exist in America, and in abundance.

And malnutrition tends to disproportionately affect minorities in the country, especially those in the southeastern part of the country. Here are a couple articles to check out:
