For St. Jude's! December 12, 2006 9:39 AM I've never done anything like this before. But I need to get back in shape, and doing a marathon is on my list of things to do before I die. So....I'm going to start training now for December 1, 2007, the Memphis, Tennessee St. Jude's Marathon. I'm only going to walk it. But I'm going to raise $500 at least for St. Jude's. I'm hoping some other Care2 members will do it with me. The walking goal is to do each mile (26 miles) in less than 6 hours. That means keeping up a 14 minute per mile pace at least. I've given up soda, fast food (boy is THAT tough!) and alcohol, and I'm run/walking 4+ miles a day, 5-6 miles a week. So far so good!  [ send green star]  [ accepted]
