Hello everyone, it has been a very busy weekend and it's not over yet!  I worked Saturday, I'm going to work today and again tomorrow with work.  Saturday night, after work, Evelyn and I went to Caesars in Atlantic City to see Carrie Underwood in Concert.  Her show was a blast!  I took about 150 photos and will be selecting the best ones to post later this week.  I am getting ready for work now but I thought you might like to see one of the pictures before I head for the radio station. 

It was a great show, I'll post more later!  Happy Memorial Day!!!

Good morning friends.  We had an absolutely great evening yesterday.  My son Cory came over for dinner and to watch American Idol.  He told us that he bought a motorcycle.  What excitement for him.  Busy day ahead.  Evelyn is home and has a dental appointment.  We may visit our daughter Carrie, too (momma hasn't told me what I'm going to do yet)!  I have coffee if you'd care for a cup?

Thank you Jim, it means so much to me to have such caring friends.  I am doing fine now.

 May 18th I will be going in for a surgical consult with my doctor.  This is going to sound strange, but he is going to lift my bladder. Aparently it has fallen during child birth.  And at the sametime he will probably do a hysterectomy.  Then everything should be fine with me, as fine as it gets anyway

Anyway I will try not to stay away so long, I just have been doing a lot of yard work and because of that my fibro acts up and I get real tired, but I will get on here more, especially when Jesse will be gone on 2nd shift, I will have more time after the kids go to bed.

Shellie, you have said volumes by just seeing you here.  I've been praying for your quick recovery!  Try not to stay away so long.  Your friends, especially me, miss you!

Hello again everyone!  I just learned some news from Mike Joseph, WXCY Morning Show co-host, that is very disturbing to me.  I'm just passing it along for your consideration.

The tragedy at Virginia Tech has hit very close to home.  My good friend and colleague, Mike Joseph, has a cousin, Caroline, who was directly involved in the shootings in the engineering room at VT. 

She survived, however, details on her physical injuries are not known, but, according to Mike, her psychological trauma is sure to stay with her for a long time as she was the last person to escape the classroom alive by jumping out of the window.  The student directly behind her was shot as he tried to evacuate.

Please, keep Caroline and all those involved in this act of violence and terror in your thoughts and prayers.  Thank you so very much and peace be with you dear friends.

Hi all, doing well, this weather has sent me into a flare up with my fibro, but I am doing well.  My business has really picked up this month and hopefully Jesse will get that job.  He is supposed to hear any day now.

Sandy have you tried Tyleno PM?  I know it works for me with my cronic fatigue and fibro.  I was concerned at first that it would cause liver damage taking it every night, but my doctor assured me that I am not taking a large enough dose to do any harm.  I found that taking the recomended dose of 2 pills left me groggy the next day, so I started taking 1 pill and that wasn't enough to put me to sleep, so I now take 1 and 1/2 and that works perfectly. 

I know how you feel not sleeping it is not fun, but give that a try and see if it works.  Good Luck!

we here in sanford maine are all buckled down for our n'oreaster that is hitting us hard. we are still lucky we have power. the winds are blowing at a none stop 40 mph with gust topping 60. they already closed all of our beachs due to the high surfs. our driveway is flooded. they say that the worsed of this storm will be at it max between 10:00am and 3:00pm today but it is going to stay with us till wednesday. the trees in our yard are bending like you would not believe.

Hello everyone, we had a great Easter, the kids got spoiled. The one last splurge we did before Jesse lost his job.  I am so glad we did our Easter shopping a week before he lost it.

An Update: Jesse has put out over 20 resumes, so far he has heard back from 4 of them.  He has an interview tomorrow and he will be calling to others to set up an inteview tomorrow.  So I have no doubt that by the end of the month he will be imployed 

We humblely allowed his mother to fill our oil tankbut atleast I know we will have heat until we are back on our feet again.

So if you don't see us aroung here that much it is because we are busy pounding the pavement.  I so far have gained one new client for the month, so I feel good about that.

I went to the doctor's for my follow up from surgery.  He wants to try and regulate my cycle for a few months with hormones and see how it goes, but from my past and trying to regulate my cycles with hormones, hasn't worked out to good.  We both feel that with in a years time I will have to have a hysterectomy, but I will worry about that later.

just to let you all know. i heard from the doctor about 10 mins ago and shellie is doing just find. she is in recovery 1 right now, as soon as she goes into recovery 2 the nurse will call me again.

thing went well, i guess she had alot of tissue and bumps that he got rid of, they did and oblation (sorry for missed spellings) and they were not able to get it all because her uterus is to big. the doctor hopes that this will help, if not she will have to think of things to be done.

Hello Friends: We Are Back.  Yesterday's return flight was delayed in Denver for two and a half hours.  When we finally got in the air we were routed around bad weather and arrived home later than expected.  In all, the trip home took a little over twelve hours.

Happy St Patrick's Day everyone.  Today I will be trying to clean up the mess that Mother Nature dropped on us last night, as Jesse will be working until late.

And speaking of Jesse, he was up for a manager's postion at work. It was between him and one other person. The powers that be chose the other person based on the fact that she has been with the Company for 8 years and all though Jesse has been is the business just as long, he as only been with this Company for a year and a half.  Even though Jesse has been a store manager for another company and is more qualified in my opinion than this person who only wants to put in 40 hours a week, where as Jesse as and will continue to put in 50 plus hours a week.

Anyway I guess I am just disappointed because he really deserves this job and the extra money he would have been making would have put an addition on our house.

Oh well, I guess we will just have to wait and find another way to pay for it.

We had an absolutely wonderful time! 

 Good morining Jim, Sandy, and Carol. Two weeks until surgery, yesterday I saw the doctor for pre-op and he added a second procedure.  It is called an Endometrial Ablation, basically burning off the endoetrial lining of the uterus.  Or my other choice was a hysterectomy. I am only 33, even though I don't want to have anymore children, I was not too keen on the idea of a hysterectomy. 

Anyway, it is supposed to be warm today and even warmer tomorrow, YEAH! spring!

Don't know if you're an American Idol watcher but a few of the singers ousted, in my opinion, were ones who could have gone a long way in the competition. I don't know if it indicates that the popularity of the show is dwindling or America's taste in music is changing. We'll see!
