Jill, what a pretty graphic! Did someone make it for you? I see it has been glitterized in Lunapic or some other program. I love it!
Lily, actually you caused the stretch in the page by your post on June 16, 2011. lol I just type and if it's a long sentence it'll just have to stay...I don't always remember or know how to shorten. If this thread is long I'll open a new one and hopefully the photos won't be over 525 px and they won't be posted side by side.
Oh, I love your pretty Hyacinthe and Lily. The Hyacinthe did really well in a pot.
I'm not sure what these are that I planted but they're beautiful. They open in the morning and close in the evening; unfortunately they don't bloom long.
Vicky you need to type shorter lines as the page is now stretched terribly
Lily, your Daffodils are such a pretty yellow. Do they multiply? I just found out not long ago that certain bulbs don't multiply (i.e. tulips). I was flabbergasted. Your cherry blossom is pretty, too. I have my hyacinthe growing outside and it's pretty even though you're right....they don't last real long.
Jill, pretty graphic....I love the glitter on her lips!
I'm not sure what this flower is called. It's a bulb of some sort that comes up every year for me. They're beautiful. They open in the morning and close in the evening.
I'm not replanting the hycinth Vicky,it is dying off now anyway.
They dont last long indoors or outdoors for that matter.
The daffodils out there wont last long either once they are all open.
maybe your weather keeps yours longer
yes the other Gardenia and palm are in pots, they are indoor plants.
I have instructions with them what to do with them but
havent made much difference.
They are fed plant food.

Pretty pink rose, Jill!! thank you for posting.
Primroses! I knew the leaves looked different than African Violets....they're very pretty either way. Your hyacinthe is lovely, Lily. Wow, I've never seen a gardenia in a pot. When are you going to replant it? Do you have your palm and other gardenia in pots? If so they might need more space and that is why they're losing their leaves or maybe it's lacking nutrients and/or vitamins in the soil.
They are not African Violets Vicky, they are Primroses.
My in laws bought them for me.
Gorgeous Lily! Are those from your garden? Yellow African Violets? Never seen those beauties before.
Here is a pic of my Paperwhite Lily.

That looks beautiful, Lily. A rainbow of colors!
Here is a story about a Confederate Rose. I will post pictures of my Confederate Rose after:
One story relates that the Confederate rose was in bloom during a particularly bloody battle of the Civil War. A slain soldier fell beside a Confederate rose, and his blood spilled into the ground at the base of shrub. The flowers, which had started out white in the morning, absorbed the slain soldier's blood throughout the day, so that by evening they had turned a deep, rosy red.
I had another picture of the Confederate Rose but my stupid Corel editing program won't open. The flower is beautiful...it's a cotton candy pink.
Okay the first pic is in the morning, the second one when it is starting to turn red, the third one totally red/pink. The fourth photo shows that there are both red and white flowers on the same tree. It is an awesome sight.
Hmmm...now that you mention it Lily I think there is only one flower per stem BUT there are lots of stems together so it looks like lots. I will find a pic of a bunch and post it. I know I have a pic somewhere.
That's a lovely colour Vicky,I haven't seen that variety before.
do you get more than one flower on that?
What a pretty graphic Jill....I'm glad you were able to post one. I know you are tired of those crazy red X's.
Lily, your flowers are so beautiful and colorful! I've heard of but never seen a Primrose...I love it, and the Asters, too!
Here is one of my volunteer Mexican Petunias. I love them and they spread everywhere.

Jill, I'm not sure if you saw this photo and either copied it straight from the site or if you saved it to your desktop and copied and pasted it from there. If you posted from your desktop that's why you have the red 'X'. You HAVE to save the photo either to Photobucket or your Care2 album as you need those codes. Actually you shouldn't use that photo anyway as it has a watermark that says reproduction is reserved which I think it means no one is supposed to use it. Here is your photo which I have saved in my Photobucket account. It's very beautiful.

I can't wait to see yours Lily. I have more flower photos on my SD card but I am still slow in learning to edit them so it may be another day or two. Hyacinthes are so pretty.
Yes thats a lovely one Vicky I dont think I have seen that colouring before.
I have a lot of those I have taken from those in the greenhouse but I have to resize them first.
I have put some into the hanging baskets as the other ones have finished in them. And also put some of the Hycinth bulbs in, they are under where the Primroses are now.
still have more to put out, I have cleared the window boxes ready for them.
this is not my flower but I think it's lovely. I do have a white rose tinged with light green but no pictures for it and it's not blooming now.
Lovely Cyclamen, Lily. I think that was dew on the Lily, Lily...I can't remember. Oh, one of your posts was double so I deleted one.
was that rain on that Lily or just been watered?
Here's a pic of me or my mom's rose:
Here is one of my lilies:
Thanks for the links Lily. I finally got my program installed but it is complicated for me...at least til I read the book.
There are 2 I use Vicky
the second one takes larger editing up to 20MB if my pcs are very large(seem to be lately with zoom) I go here.
Then usually go back to the first one to edit more as it has those nice frames etc.
Lily, after our 'picture' chats I will delete our posts from this thread. Because of you I was able to figure out how to get my photos from SD card to my computer should I want to or I can probably upload them straight to an editing program. Since mine is not working here (yet) I need to find a free one on the internet that will allow me to crop and/or make my photos smaller (for posting). Who did you say you use? Thanks!
No I dont know of any Vicky.
well I upload mine straight from my camera to my pc,it's quick.
Lily, it's not just a photo editing CD; it actually takes the pictures off my SD card & uploads them to my computer, which other free programs don't do. Do you know of any? Please let me know. Oh, I absolutely HATE that stupid box in Photobucket that our albums are in. It's like tunnel vision...I wish I could find another site like Photobucket 'used' to be cuz I'd use it instead.
Vicky why do you have to buy photo editing?
There are many free uploads on here .I have 2 sites I go to for resizing because one wont take very large pics like I have when I zoom in close. But the other one does.
I then often go back to the first one with it to do some other editing like cropping etc.
Then then usually end up in Care2 photos because Photobucket drives me up the wall.
Never uploads unless I take them in the bulk uploader.
and as for videos gave up that there ages ago and do mine in Picasa where you can upload them straight to YouTube from there.

Lily, your flowers are lovely. Aren't those petunias (the purple ones?). I love them. Not sure why your jasmine hasn't grown either. Mine does great in the spring. HOWEVER, I have a clipping from it that I planted a couple of years back that took BUT it is in a shady area and if it gets flowers there are very few and it's not spreading. They don't have to be in full sun but they need more than those are getting. Your Hawaian Palm is very nice. Here's ANOTHER problem I am having (I'm full of them aren't I?). Since my computer got reformatted I had to buy a new photo editing program and guess what? The main CD will not upload...the 2 other CD's that came with it can (but won't since the main CD isn't uploading). So that is why I'm not posting flowers or other pictures anywhere. I am unable to get them off my computer. I am going crazy cuz I LOVE my pictures. I must try to figure something out.
it's not too late for them to dig them up Vicky!!!
Maybe you noticed I have put some gravel around them hoping this puts them off as I keep forgetting to get that pepper stuff.
boy this rain sure makes the weeds spring up!!! pity it doesn't work like that on the plants.
The clematis is going up the fence though and some more flowers there but not the Jasmine.
Dont know why that is slow.
I decided to view your flowers tonight Lily...they're absolutely beautiful. And to think you thought the squirrels were going to dig them up. Poor babies.
The squirrels haven't touched those as they are hanging baskets, and the others are in the greenhouse.
got some more to put on of the window boxes (before they do get to those !!!!)
Wow! Beautiful colors and assortment Lily! I thought you said the squirrels dug them all up or that the rain ruined some. They all look awesome!
Thanks a lot Vicky...
this's my plum blossom back yard and red tulip front yard.
now they're gone...waiting for fruit
Agnes, I forgot to tell you that not only are your red tulips gorgeous but the photo itself is very pretty with the sun in the background.
One of the many tulips I planted.
I love the rosebud, Lily....I think buds are lovely!
What beautiful flowers Lily and Agnes!! God's special gifts to us. Lily the salmon colored rose is gorgeous and Agnes your yellow and red ones are awesome, too!!!!! But I love them ALL! Thanks for sharing them. I must post some of mine. I have been so lazy in editing them.

there's a bee there in the top of flower which is a Peony
Here's one showing the colour more
not showing the proper colour though, they are a nice lavender colour.
lots of blooms starting on the clematis outside my back door
First rose out on the bush, there are a dozen or more buds on it
My apple blossom ,it has all fallen now but it looked lovely then.
I said the leaves look like Marigold leaves but I meant mum leaves. I'm glad you've got more flowers/blooms on your plants.
There are more flowers on that one now also bluebells coming up.
Those are both gorgeous flowers, Lily! The leaves on the purple one looks almost like Marigold leaves. I need to upload and post some of my garden stuff.
This is a wild plant but pretty
They are a variety of tulip Vicky, I think called 'Monsella'
In the daytime they open right up and then close later
Here they are open wide
What beautiful flowers Lily..what are they? I bet they look lovely around Maurice's grave. I love the geese surrounding your palm plant. Very nice.
flowers round Maurice's grave
my Hawaiian palm
Oh that is so beautiful, Lily. It kind of looks familiar but I'm not sure. I'll try to find out.
A flower has just opened
Hmmmm....not familiar looking to me, Lily. Maybe when it blooms.
Here is the plant Vicky which I have forgotten what it is called.Only one bud on it there but if it flowers I will put another pic on.
It has a fairly thick stem.
They are all beautiful Lily...real and internet. I bet you love the color purple, huh? My mom does, too! I guess I will have to post internet flowers too until I figure out what's wrong with my storage card on my computer. sigh If I post my pics from last year you'll know why. teehee!
Got this off of the internet but they are lovely
Post your beautiful spring, summer, fall and winter flower pictures here!
