LOS ANGELES ~ Stunning Maine Coon Cat, Tabby imperiled ~ Owner dying of cancer, kitties need new homes ~ Mama Cat Sarah, Daughter BillieSadly, these poor cats, whose owner is dying of cancer, have NO OFFERS and it looks as if they will end up at the shelter. They will lose their person, they will lose their safe and loving home, they will lose each other and quite possibly they will lose their lives.

These two cats are extremely bonded to each other and we would like to find a home for them together. The situation is dire so they can be split if a home together cannot be found.

It turns out that the cats are one year younger than I was told. Their vet records show that Sarah, the mom tabby, is 8 years and Billie, the Maine Coon daughter, is 7 years.

Sarah and Billie are shy at first but very affectionate with their person. Sadly, the third cat, Della, has chronic medical issues and may not be adoptable.

PLEASE, PLEASE forward this to every animal lover that you know--these cats would be terrified at the shelter and we all know that middle aged, shy cats do not get picked to go home. They cannot end up at the shelter and there is less than a few weeks to find a place for them!!

Thanks for your help spreading the word. Read their story below.

As many of you know, we are moving in just 2 weeks Unfortunately, I have still not been able to find a good home for Cookie and Coco .
We're not able to take our beloved doggies with us and I've been desperately trying to find a home for both of them 'together'. They were raised together and pine without each other. The Lab rescue have already said that they would probably separate them, so this is my last resort.

Recently I tried to take Coco out in my car alone and she TOTALLY refused to even get into the car without Cookie.....!!!! She absolutely pulled back on her haunches until Cookie was by her side. Both doggies are in great health, have been spayed and have ID chips implanted under the skin.

Cookie turned 3 December 10th and Cookie is my mellow-yellow, and just loves her tummy rubbed. Coco is adorably funny and lives for her "ball". She also loves the water..... Cookie loves lots of attention.
Both doggies are loyal and love to walk. They have been raised with my 3 kids running around all over the place, and have survived Sammy's constant hugging and love of 'dress-up', so they are fantastic family dogs. This is by far one of the most difficult decisions I have ever had to make, but under the circumstances I have no choice.

Please, Please forward these pics to all you know and help me find a great home for these fabulous doggies. They are just adorable and it's heartbreaking to let them go. In a perfect world, I hope that we could find someone local so that we can still keep in touch and visit them.
I pray that someone, somewhere can help us keep Cookie and Coco together, and love them just as much as we do. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

Dear Friends,

Management has begun the assault on the truth. And because of the many phone calls to their office, as of Friday, they aren't willing to negotiate.

Please help me to find a really good forever home for little 3-lb. Boots. that is who they have always had a problem with. A tiny 3-lb. dog.

Another retired couple would be excellent. No kids.

She gets cold real easily.(A warm climate would be great). She has to have sweaters, jackets on always.

Because she has a reverse sneeze, she needs a granule of Chlortabs twice daily.

And she is terrified of car rides.

She's a very good little dog but possesive of her treats.

Totally housebroken.

She's my angel.

contact Echo C. or me (Amalthea and I will pass your message along) if you are interested.

Dear friends,

I hope there is someone out there that is willing to adopt Vida.

I read Simone's news about the poor dog that was tied to a fence, all alone with no water or food and starving to death. An Orange Animal Control Officer found her just in time.

This is how she looked like when they found her :

This is Vida now, after treatment, fluids and nurishment :

Her story : http://www.ahscares.org/showarchive.asp?id=547

News to note from Simone : http://www.care2.com/news/member/525884267/1101721

I contacted the humain society that keeps her and it seems she still hasn't had any luck :

"Viviane, Vida is still with us and if you would like to forward her
story, that would be fine. Several people expressed interest but never
followed through. Vida is a wonderful dog. We took her to visit a school
that sponsored her care and she was very gentle and mellow with the
children. Thank you so much. Debbie Beyfuss AHS Cares Programs
Our address is 124 Evergreen Ave. Newark, NJ 07114-2133
Phone: (973) 824-7080 Fax: (973) 824-2720 "

So please forward to as many friends as you can to give Vida a home !

Thanks

what kind of person/Vet. would do this??? Sunday, 8:32 PM

You read that title right! This just DISGUSTS me. This poor DOG was FOUR PAW DECLAWED because her owner couldn't stand the clicking noise her nails made!! You can see in the pic she has no nails! Now, the owner will have her euthed!!! This situation is just so sad! Unbelievable! !

Paisley is a Pit Bull mix. Poor thing is 9 years old and spending her days in a small pen outside because her owner can't stand looking at her! She lived with a Rottweiler and cats. She normally was crated all the time (because the owner didn't want to deal with her) - and is housebroken. Owners don't want her because she killed some chickens! She is spayed and will be updated on vaccines.

Someone please save this angel!! She deserves so much better! Please contact me at jplfan1002@yahoo. com (@ yahoo.com) and Monica at toomanykitties7@ yahoo.com (@ yahoo.com) if you may be able to help her! She only has 1-2 weeks before the owners take her in to euth!! Please crosspost to everyone you can think of!!

She is located in the Lafayette IN area. Limited transport is available!! Thank you!!
Karla

Construction work started on the house today and she fears for their lives and said she could hear the babies crying this morning. Please, if you can help with fostering or rehoming, contact Melanie at 323-379-6555. SUPER URGENT!!!!"
