I see them dancing, framed by the glimmering trale of frost ‘pon the window of the chamber were I lie, their quaint dance floor a fairy circle, their disco ball the shining moon light. On and on their shadowy figures prance, faster, wilder, on and on forever moving shapes of magic. The very air holds a tint of sparkle, the wind a gust of power. The waters glimmer with magic, and upon their shimmering surface the shining moon is reflected, a place were water fairy’s dance. With but the moon to guide me, I creep softly from my bed. I feel the lure of the fairy magic, pulling me on, on to the fairy ring. I crawl carefully through the window, then on to were the fragrance of roses hangs thick and heavy, tinted with the scent of magic. Then another figure joins the dance, and I silently moving in and out with the fairy’s, though I am much bigger.

Lost, lost am I, forever, forever more to wander, wander alone to greive, greive, never again to love, to speak my own name, to hear it echo, echo, echo, echo... And yet I can feel pain, pain that sears the very blood in my veins, oh the torture, the torture, the pain of my life, oh what weels, racks, fires, what old or newer torture must I receive, recieve before I find myself again, that faint and filmy vision of a person I think is myself, who is yet so different. My life will be forever lonely as I lie, waiting, waiting, waiting forever.
Hey lissa, this is my new poem, I really didn't put much into it, so could you redo the contest with this one? Thanks!
I do not believe my poem (the 2nd one) is that great....how about, this round, everyone is a winner, but if one person must be chosen, then I would say....that's a hard one isn't it? LOL!!! Each poem has it's own merits, written in a different style and with different images. I belive each poem is a work of art worthy of the Artist and winner.
