PCL Property Research Report #1
SUMMARY REPORT at end of (suppressed) data.
This series of PCL Property Research Reports, beginning with this one [#1], are generated beginning with the report of the reconnoitering trip made by Sapan Rinpoche and Craig Jacobson (Sycamore Jangchub Lobsang Jigme Dorje - PCL VP) on July 11th, 2007, from notes taken along the way, expanded and filled in by other available information accumulated since May 2002 and serve to provide a complete account of the PCL land searches from this point [14JUN2007] forward. These reports are the results of specific visual searches in the area of Gilpin County [and other areas in Boulder and Larimer counties, to be completed, from earlier information and going forward from July 11th, 2007].

July 11th trip by SR and CDJ from Rollinsville to Toland to actual ghost town of Apex and out to the Peak-to-Peak Highway (Colorado 119) where it comes out just a few miles above (North) of Central City. This information will be augmented with the research material developed in September 2006 on a trip from Swami Paramananda's home on Mammoth Gulch to Nugget and then to Central City, with different view information -- all (both trips) supported by photographs along both routes. The information immediately below is from the SR-CDJ 11JUL2007 trip.
PCL Land Search 11JUL2007, from Estes Park to Central City
{Actual data supressed for proprietary reasons!}
SUMMARY REPORT#1: R/E Info numbers are yet to be called, but, generally speaking, this trip revealed the basic center line for the property search area, with areas to the East and West of the Apex Valley Road yet to be fully reconoitored. It turns out that the access to "American City" is on a road to the WEST of the Apex "sign" and Town of Apex, off of the Apex Valley Road about a mile; this area, which looks promissing from that road and from pictures available in books, should be reconoitored. Generally, the properties do not from the data in this PCL P.S.R.-#1 do not reveal the JEWEL that we are looking for, but R/E info from the numbers yet to be called should be very helpful. Perhaps there is some acreage, extending back from the roads traveled here will be good. "Perigo" area to the East, with access from Town of Gilpin and from the Gamble Gulch Road up to Perigo and beyond should be the next search area, which Sapan R. will negotiate in the remaining month of July, 2007 and into August and September, also. See the "PCL 2007 Summer Program" for more information on Front Range activities! =sapan=
