http://www.care2.com/c2c/group/PCLMonasteryProjectPCL 2008 SUMMER PROGRAMS A Calendar & Prospectus In the Summer of 2008, the Phuntsok Choephel Ling Monastery Project will host a series of Treks and Retreats, with Campouts in the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado, in Gilpin, Boulder and Larimar Counties. The calendaring notes below will give you an outline of the events, in their scope and range. There are a total of 21 Events. Costs will be announced in the later Spring of 2008, or by INQUIRY at the addresses above. Email is fine. COSTS will be moderate, with lots of cost cutting measures, some work-exchange opportunities, and a few scholarships. All food, guide staff, and transportation, if any, from the Trailheads or Private Properties involved will be provided. Backpacking will be the general routine, with people responsible for their own shelter, gear and planning. Guidelines will be sent out with Registration Materials in the late Spring, or during the Summer, if you apply that late. Some of the events will not require any campout or backpacking, but, generally, that will not be the case. Hotels in the areas of Estes Park, Boulder, Nederland, Rollinsville and Central City are available, with advance notice, and we can provide you information upon request. Hi ... the PCL SUMMER PROGRAMS are fully under way, although I have been on a 2-week tour of California with Kathmandu and Tokyo friends to do concerts in Big Sur, etc.
Please call me at 303-823-6477 if you are interested in camping out in the Front Range anytime for the rest of this Summertime period. I will accomadate any and all requests to the best of my ability. It is a BEAUTIFUL time to be up in the Front Range, above 8400 ft. ALL IS WELL!
